  1. Love it. Looks much more Canadian to my non-Canadian mind. Well done (although I could do without the black).
  2. I'd have rather see two equally crafted logos (one male, one female) and use a single head for whichever sport it matched. Unless this is intended for co-ed teams that have both males and females on them.
  3. Needs to be bigger though. But tough to see anything past the gold neck roll.
  4. Love it. Should be a Sunday alt full time.
  5. Is the Cavalry a Portland Timbers' lower division team?
  6. I instinctively root against any player wearing the pajama pants.
  7. In my opinion and experience, double outlines are a misguided attempt to give an existing look a better feel. Similar to the mistake of adding a random black outline to something and thinking it is an improvement. Generally when designers feel the need to add these things there is some other underlying problem with the design that needs addressing. In the Mariners' case, I think it was change for change's sake rather than changing for the better. But, we see this mistake made everywhere.
  8. That set always looked to me like something I would have doodled with a Sharpie over the non-black Lions uni.
  9. I can't see that logo and not think cheesy Disney movie. Not something I think professional teams and their players would aspire to.
  10. The problem, especially with a look as busy as the Bengals (with the stripes, orange/black), is it's just too much going on. A basic numeral font and simple outline (no drop shadow) compliments the design rather than competing with it.
  11. I love soccer kits and clash kits. Some clash kits are great while others are horrible. But, I love the flexibility and opportunity they give to explore new solutions. And, soccer jerseys with collars are especially nice since men in their 40s-50s can wear them to support their team without looking like they are trying to be a kid wearing a football, basketball, or baseball jersey.
  12. Would be a cool look (hot pink / black) for the new MLS Miami team if it ever happens.
  13. I have a friend with the same opinion. After the SB last night he said, "at least Julio has a real championships from Alabama"
  14. I'd actually remove the yellow pin stripe from the collar and the edge of the sleeve. Just one stripe in each area. And pair it with white pants (with either a thin yellow, or brown, or brown/yellow/brown pin stripe going down the side).
  15. I see the paint brush motif being more for applications (posters, signage, advertisements, etc.) than for the actual logo or uniform. As it is, drives me nuts that they have the clean, typed out NEW ENGLAND and TM mixed with the brush strokes.
  16. Normal block numerals would go a long way in making this nice.
  17. As much as I hate the faux Sonics, I think this would have been a much better name/look for them.
  18. This would look even better if the keys were white with black outlines.
  19. Also remember that the last year the team wore royal/yellow as their primary they won their one and only Super Bowl. That's one HUGE reason why royal/yellow is superior.
  20. Navy/Gold = St. Louis Royal/Yellow = Los Angeles
  21. Yes, I don't get the love for the Rams navy/white. To me the Los Angeles Rams are royal/yellow, end of story.
  22. Huskies would be undefeated and ranked #2 right now were it not for those horrible black uniforms.
  23. I think these were the best they've ever looked. Just a tad bit of the navy/black but 99% powder/yellow.
