  1. I've been a Bears fan for 19 years, and I know one thing is true. You cannot count out Aaron Rodgers until the clock hits 00:00 in Week 17. I'd love to believe the Packers are done, but I'm not holding my breath.
  2. Good to see the Special One isn't going down without a fight!
  3. Baltimore vs. Cincinnati Philadelphia vs. Tampa Bay Indianapolis vs. Washington Kansas City vs. Pittsburgh Cleveland vs. New Orleans Minnesota vs. Green Bay Carolina vs. Atlanta Miami vs. NY Jets Houston vs. Tennessee LA Chargers vs. Buffalo Detroit vs. San Francisco Arizona vs. LA Rams New England vs. Jacksonville Oakland vs. Denver NY Giants vs. Dallas Seattle vs. Chicago
  4. Let's hope that's the case. Honestly, I'm not really thrilled with any of the MLS coaches as national team candidates, but I'd put my money on either Vermes or Berhalter to get the job.
  5. That was my first thought upon hearing the news. That night in Trinidad may just become the new norm if this is the hire they decide to make
  6. Damn. I was wary as soon as I saw Rodgers step out onto the field in the second half, but even then I didn't expect it to go this badly. The Murphy's law of football games, if you will. Playcalling was atrocious, Trubisky is hopeless more than 8 yards down the field, and the Packers adjusted perfectly to negate our pass rush. And of course, Rodgers just has to pull a rabbit out of the hat. Even when we were given another chance, Fuller lets a ball hit him square in the numbers. From that point on, there was no doubt who was winning this game. As a bears fan smack in the middle of packer country, it's gonna be a long week.

  8. So... About West Ham challenging for the top six
  9. For the longest time, I never noticed the flames on top of the ball made a Phoenix
  10. Thank you all for the feedback! I definitely agree about the tomahawk, and I'll try to rework it in my next draft. This project made me realize just how detailed the Braves logo is, and I kinda like it less now than I did before. So, this might be a bit of a stretch, but my original intent for this logo was to mimic the outline of Wisconsin, kinda like this. I kinda took some liberties, especially on the east side, so it must not have come out as clearly as I intended. Is it worth keeping, or should I rework it to make the logo flow more naturally and abandon the Wisconsin element? I took the cap logo directly from the old Milwaukee Braves logo. I think it's a great cap, so I left it as is.
  11. Thanks for the feedback! The face is definitely something I struggled with, is there something specific I should change?
  12. Does this work better?
  13. Ok, here are some uniform ideas I had. Caps are the same as the original Milwaukee ones, with the simple M and a red bill. I removed the piping from the center of the uniform and reduced outlines on the tomahawk to decrease clutter in the center of the shirt. I kept the piping on the sleeves, neck, and pants. The Away uniform has the Braves script again because I felt a script "Milwaukee" wouldn't fit as well. Stripes return to the socks. I was going to do stirrups but ultimately decided against it. Home alt sees the new logo on the chest, and the road alt is a blue version of the home and road with a new Indian head cap. I'd appreciate any C&C.
  14. If you're looking for the second-person command form of, "Fear the Bears," it should be "Teme a Los Osos". Pretty fantastic concept here. That badge is very well rendered.
  15. Thanks! I've never actually designed a baseball uniform before, but I think I'll give it a shot. I doubt I'd change too much, though, I love the Braves current identity.
  16. As much as I like the Brewers' identity, I am fascinated by the history of the Milwaukee Braves, and wish they could have stayed around for longer. This is my concept for a secondary logo that could be used by the team in place of the racist or ugly secondaries they've had in the past. Any C&C would be greatly appreciated!
  17. I've noticed this quite a few times with logos. It feels like there shouldn't be an issue just flipping a logo, but some only look good facing one way, especially the ones that aren't a straight profile view. I think the problem with that particular Bengals logo is the white space on the now left side. Since your eyes read left-right and are attracted to lighter spaces, they get stuck on that white fur and don't read the rest of it.
  18. Not sure about a nickname, but I always thought these were an interesting part of the city https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Düsseldorf's_cartwheeler
  19. Kansas City, Bakersfield Beacon Hill, Tacoma Sacramento, Willis Providence, Miami
  20. Goodness gracious, Liverpool. For as good as City have been, their trips to Anfield make me wonder what would happen if the Prem implemented an NFL style playoff at the end of the season. City has been magnificent, but Liverpool seems to have their number, and I'd be hard-pressed to bet against the Reds in a head to head.
  21. Pacifica, Dallas Portland, Detroit East Harlem, Summerhill Fort Pitt, St. Johns
  22. Ogunbowale again! My high school played (and beat) her school when she was a senior, so it's pretty cool to see.
