I decided to check out my town's newest Goodwill last month & they did not disappoint! I scored this pair of game-issued Bills jerseys for $9.99 each. Sold the pair the same day for $500

Nice craftsmanship, but I don't think there should be military appreciation nights as long as pride nights are being discontinued. They say a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of small minds, but hey, I'm pretty small-minded.
The Sabres pride night is literally the next home game

Does this line refer to The Sullivans or the Sabres?

My "thrift store" days are over, but I'm still out here finding deals! My best of the year so far are these photomatched 2001 Hurricanes Clinton Portis game-used jerseys & helmet! Picked these up for less than a car payment

Hello! Many years ago, I was an extremely active member of this message board. I posted some of my earliest work here & slowly turned an art hobby into a side hustle. A decade later, I am a professional artist. I have worked with several pro athletes on shirt designs & I've carved out a niche selling mashup pop art & merch online. I also just completed an official collaboration with he Buffalo Sabres!
Proceeds from this official Military Appreciation Night design benefits the Buffalo & Erie County Naval & Military Park and their preservation work on the USS The Sullivans, a decommissioned US Navy ship, named after five brothers who were killed in live combat. The ship has recently made headlines for taking in water & we're hoping to literally keep it afloat!
Shoutout to all the members of this site who walked me through the basics a decade ago! 🫡

Wow, that’s quite the score! What were the other jerseys if you don’t mind me asking?
Tavon Austin, RGIII, DeMarcus Lawrance, Kendall Wright, a few more guys like that... they had belonged to Terrance Williams from the Cowboys, but he apparently didn't bother to pay his $50 storage locker bill, so he let $10K+ of jerseys go for free

Hey, guys! I don't post much on this site anymore, but this page helped me get started as an artist about 5 years ago... flash forward to 2022 & I'm close to quitting my day job to be an artist full-time!
I made this "JA17" concept design that I'm selling on shirts, stickers, etc... thought I'd share it here!

Here's a pretty cool one - last month, I bought 14 jerseys from a former NFL player's unpaid storage locker. This was the highlight of the lot:

I literally put this quick logo together for a local jersey company the month before this SF logo dropped

Who else used the rounded nameplates like that? I'm sure someone did.
The Giants did in the 00's.

I could take or leave the actual beer, but that logo

The best thing you can do with Photoshop is ditch it for Illustrator. For the type of stuff people make on these boards, Illustrator is by far the better program.

CBS showed a graphic last night with Derrick Henry in the old Titans uniforms similar to the one above (although it might have been with white pants, I can't remember). With all the success he's had in the navy helmets, it caught be offguard CBS thought that was the best picture to use to show Henry's recent success.
I noticed that, too! Makes me miss the old set that much more.

Anyone else find it odd that they always counterfeit Authentics and not Replicas? I feel like Replicas would be cheaper to reproduce and much easier to replicate accurately.
Many of those counterfeit sites do offer replicas, but at the exact same price as the more expensive models, so nobody ever really buys them. I do assume its actually easier to sew and embroider everything than it is to heat press or sublinate prints, though, at least in terms of using the equipment/technology they already had.

The pants having a gap in between the stripes but the jerseys and helmet not having a gap bugs the ever-living hell out of me.
I personally hate when any team has a gap in striping like that, even if its consistent throughout the uniform. Even when traditional, like the Packers:
I would prefer the white and yellow touch.

Elway wore mono-navy? Huh.
Only for one preseason game. Supposedly, he personally complained to ownership and they never wore that set during his career again.

But that *is* Elway’s “right” uniform (though white pants are probably more accurate). Won two Super Bowls in that set.
Its just aesthetically jarring... walking into Mile High like

Bruce Matthews was the face of the Houston Oilers, and followed them to Tennessee; he spent the last three seasons of his career as a Tennessee Titan; so this is the right team, but wrong uniform, and wrong team name too.
Its jarring seeing old white dudes in modern duds:

I actually found two of these from the same Goodwill, but here's pics of one - a game-issued Colin Kaepernick 9ers jersey!
