  1. Hi Big Red. While I like the Coat of Arms as a whole, I think you're right, that the references to Bavaria and Ireland could be a bit more subtle. Maybe you can find a way to mash up some Bavarian/Irish symbols without just using their flags, e.g. include a Bavarian pretzel styled like an Irish knot design or something. What's the significance/meaning of the arm and arrow by the way?
  2. At first I was "meh", but then I saw it on the hood... Pure class!
  3. If your hero is called omega, wouldn't you make the symbol resemble an Ω?!
  4. Dang, that concept is really amazing! Especially love the fresh Roy Lichtenstein version!
  5. Take-off and landing? Just guessing.
  6. It's a cute jersey, but what does it have to do with the Berlin Wall?
  7. I like the combination of flags going on in this logo:
  8. That works much better as a logo than the old and scrapped new one.
  9. Haha! Bartender tats should be in any good flag mock up!
  10. And the winner is... https://www.thestranger.com/slog/2019/08/09/41032399/jackassery-will-not-be-tolerated-in-seattles-only-flag-contest
  11. That front row does some serious squatting!
  12. They must have some good drinking games!
  13. Interesting article about the role of Hong Kong's flag in the current protests: https://edition.cnn.com/style/article/hong-kong-flag-design-protest/index.html
  14. I'd go with San Diego SC. Calling it "Soccer Club" keeps a reference to the Sockers.
  15. Not sure if it's an advertisement for an airline or for their Swiss watch supplier...
  16. +1! I was thinking the exact same thing! Even the wordmark is weirdly sterile. Where's the splash and splatter?
  17. A truly fascinating read! Thank you for sharing this!
  18. Just in case there are no Spanish speakers in here, I'd like to highlight something: While Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami is better than Internacional Club de Fútbol Miami, it is still not flawlessly grammatically correct. Club Internacional de Fútbol Miami does not translate into International Football Club, as you'd assume is the intention. It translates into International Club ... of Football. There is a reason they want to have CF in their "short form".
  19. The logo looks awesome, but I don’t dig the name. If you use a Spanish name, at least please check your grammar checks out. Otherwise it’s just pretentious pondering. I thought the Mas brothers should know better. I mean, how hard is it? -> Club de Fútbol Internacional, damnit! On a completely unrelated random note, does anyone else get roxy vibes from the birds?
  20. Both of them would be a huge improvement over their current flag. I am hoping the goose flag gets the nod, as I feel it has a bit more personality.
