Can the Victorious Leafs Repeat as Cup Champions? NHL 2050-51 Season
Evil G replied to BigBubba's topic in Sports In General
I don't know man, I think the Tampa Bay Canucks have a great chance this year. Same with the Atlanta Famous Flames. -
Goodnight, sweet prince.

NHL Anti-Thread: Bad Business Decision Aggregator
Evil G replied to the admiral's topic in Sports In General
I don't think anyone here is really attacking the fanbase when they want the Coyotes to be moved, but maybe I'm wrong. I think it's a mix of frustration with the stubbornness the NHL has shown in trying to make the team work, despite it very clearly not working, and the idea that it's kind of likely that their continued existence has literally killed people through what Glendale has had to cut to keep them. And I don't mean figuratively when I say literally. I mean literally. Ah, okay. That makes sense. Relocation would still would suck for the fans, even if they are few. -
NHL Anti-Thread: Bad Business Decision Aggregator

Hm, as much as I'd like to go under-70 for the cut-off, the Jackets would be under the bar and I think they're fine. So idk. I have a question to ask, do you guys feel like we're a little harsh on the fanbases like say the Coyotes? Just curious, not trying to be mean. -
Love the color scheme, and I dig the mountains. Good job!

I won't seriously believe that an owner as dedicated to his city as Khan would move his team.

They lost Lopez and Wes Matthews too so maybe not too harsh. It could be another Kyrie Cavs situation. -
I didn't read the entire thing but it looks like he's a somewhat intelligent guy. Good for him.

Flames announce details on new arena plans

Tbh I like the idea of an NHL and a CFL team sharing a stadium (or stadiums, will this count as seperate stadiums?). The CFL part doesn't look amazing, however. Maybe it will look better irl. -
It's funny that the NFL Season thread and the Anti-thread are now the same things. Who knew it would come to this?

Maybe Rivers getting his contract means the Chargers aren't moving

What is the sign saying?

Isaac Bruce was only a 4x Pro Bowler and 1x All-Pro. He's very borderline, and his case is how many career yards he has. Torry Holt has a much better case, 7x Pro Bowler and 2x All-Pro (1x First-team). He's also a member of the 2000s All-Decade Team, albeit on the second team. However, Marvin Harrison just outclasses both. 8x Pro Bowler and 8x All-Pro (3x First-team). Member of the 2000s All-Decade First Team. More career yards than Holt, and only about 700 off from Bruce despite Bruce playing 3 more seasons. The point about Bruce and Holt being a duo is sorta moot when you consider the fact that their primes were in different years. Plus, Harrison and Reggie Wayne were a duo for a while as well. TL;DR: Harrison > Holt and Bruce

He will be. No other major wideout is in play besides Terrell Owens, who's in his first year (receivers don't usually get in year one, unless you're the GOAT). Don't forget "Isaac Holt". Neither of whom are on the same level as Harrison.

Stop. Stop right there.

They base it on the largest bribes.

Worse than the Redskins or Browns? Lol no.
-
Byron Leftwich was never a good QB though. McNabb isn't a HoF QB, no First-Team All-Pros no induction, unless you're Tim Brown.
-
Kurt Warner is a borderline for sure, he won't get in next year due to Favre though. I bet Mort and Orlando Pace will get in next year with Marvin Harrison, Brett Favre, and someone like Tony Dungy or John Lynch.

Wow. That's just awful forcing citizens to see their taxes be used for a stadium project that looks more and more like a pipe dream as the days go on. Could probably be used on a ton of more important things.

.....aaand there goes the Seahawks potential dynasty.
