  1. A lot of these posts have teams in the state playing in the same division. There's a reason why they don't do that.
  2. As a southerner that's never been farther than Southern ohio in the summer, I feel bad for every city in Canada without an NHL team with disasters like the Panthers and Coyotes.
  3. I think the old Those aren't even underrated. It's like the most popular and well liked ugly uniform out there. Maybe even more than the Creamiscles from the old Bucs. I would say they're just well.. rated. Great uniform and also my favorite.
  4. Unpopular Opinion: The Miami Marlins vs Colorado Rockies uniform matchup will be probably the best uniform matchup all season. Love the orange vs purple. I go a little more in depth on this topic in the MLB thread.
  5. Lets say the decision to move the World cup happens in 2016. Do you think that the nut-jobs over there will really be 'seeking revenge' for a World Cup that was supposed to be there's 6 years ago? I don't think that'll be the case. However, security will be vastly improved compared to this years Super bowl regardless. It's a scary thought but by 2022, who knows what the world will be like? I can only imagine that security for these kind of events will be increased like crazy. Especially with the world cup, a game watched all over the world. The World Cup is already an event that is "ripe" (not sure this is the right word to use) for something like that to happen. But I don't think that what you stated would be a reason for increased security. It's a good thought, but I am not sure the mindset would still be there if it had been taken away so long ago.
  6. Plot Twist: Qatar's arab billionares invent a giant overhang that captures the entire country of Qatar. Qatar's government forces millions of Saudi Arabian slaves to build this giant contraption with extremely low pay. The same billionares funding the war in Afghanistan of the Al-Queida.
  7. When I said US/Canada, I meant both the United States and Canada. While I'd prefer for it to be US only, it wouldn't surprise me if they did a duel world-cup setting. I guess it's more likely that they just remain in the US though.
  8. Looks like Russia and Qatar might be getting axed for different locations. It's as ifthis Brazil chaos hasn't been enough of a wake-up for these FIFAidiots, and both Russia and Qatar will (most likely) be a much higher up-hill battle for both FIFA and the rest of the world to deal with. USA/Canada should host in either 2018 or 2022.
  9. Silver makes the look.I think it muddies up the design. If it were Black/Panther Blue/White it would be a lot cleaner of a look, and the colours would pop a lot more. I also agree. The silver makes it look very Arena Football League.
  10. Coming from a 17 year old soccer player in the US, older kids are starting to move away from highlighter cleats. Most kids find those to be very "rec league", which is basically the participation league of soccer. Most club kids wear less vibrant colors. In fact, I wear my Puma Kings with pride. Black and white. I am more worried about the durability and material of the boot versus how bright it is. When I was 14 though? I had yellow, neon green, and bright red/yellow. It's a trend dying over here for older kids, however.
  11. I too like the Bucs new uniforms. Not a fan of the number font, however.
  12. Very popular. Especially for MLB and the Padres. Well, if that is the popular opinion, then I guess me heavily disliking brown of all but the darkest shades (such as the Cleveland Browns) as anything other than a secondary/accent color falls under the criteria of this thread. I'm kinda on the same boat. I don't really like the color brown, but I like the uniqueness of it. I like teams that use brown in their color scheme because it's unique, not because I like the color. Not sure what the consensus is on these forums on that or not. Grey on the other hand? Very ugly, very overused, just use white.. please.
  13. Very popular. Especially for MLB and the Padres.
  14. What was first? FSU or Redskins? I thought facepalm memes died in 2009, my bad.
  15. You would think in a city like Detroit, cops would be doing something more productive then the "anti-counterfeiting jersey movement". What a joke.
  16. Unpopular opinion: That's an amazing uniform. The Astros should go back to it full-time.
  17. Not going to lie, that looks kinda badass. Not for a pro team, but I could totally see a college team pulling something like this off with similar colors. (North Dakota). Unfortunately, 2234 teams will attempt to follow suit and it'll just look stupid, as with every wild NCAA uniform trend.
  18. Maybe I should have kept that one to myself.
  19. Here's a very broad unpopular opinion: I find all Hockey uniforms hideous. I have never looked at a hockey uniform and been like "wow... that's a thing of beauty." My scale for hockey uniforms ranges from eh to downright terrible.
  20. So, you don't actually know any musicians, do you? Correction: I was referring to the very famous musicians that complain about how they're not getting there cut from people that illegally download music. I see your point on the unfamous musicians that are loosing money. But the jersey complainers, well, that makes no sense to me.
  21. There are too few facepalm images floating around on the internet to describe how I feel about this post. "Oh, I'm sorry about hitting your car. Pushing you out of the way was easier than waiting behind you for the light to turn green!" I have no idea how that has anything to do with my post. Why support big companies like Nike and Reebok when they're doing the same thing that the Counterfeit companies are doing, just charging 10x more? Both of those companies are major outsourcers anyway, there's no difference.
  22. To the person that said something along the lines of jobs going "overseas". You do realize that major corporations like Nike/Reebok are making their 200$ jerseys over in China and Taiwan the same way the counterfeit people are doing it? In fact, the Nike/Taiwan sweatshops are probably in worst conditions then the counterfeit ones. Plus, the Counterfeit company's are still having to pay Americans to ship/distribute their merchandise here. There's no difference. The more counterfeit jerseys are sold, and the less jerseys that are being bought my the big companies (Nike, Reebok, etc), the cheaper the real jerseys become. If more people bought Counterfeit jerseys that were 20$ instead of 200$, than the prices would go down. It's far more complicated as I am no economics major, but the big company would have to deal with the competition. Similar to purchasing songs on Itunes or Gomusic, it's easier just to download illegally for free. The Artists are being screwed, yes. But they are already making millions. Why itunes feels the need to charge 1$ a song is absolutely idiotic. That's why less and less people are downloading from those type of websites, as more and more people become aware of how to safely download music for free. The only people I know that purchase music through itunes are the people too poor at technology to figure out how to download, or the very small minority that feel the need to "reward" the artists that are already making millions upon millions of dollars to fulfill their drug addictions and pay for their fancy cars.
  23. Because what the do they match with on their helmet or jerseyBland and matching is a lot better then some random color that doesn't show up anywhere on the jersey and logo...
