    It can't be stolen. The colors are different. -- High school, probably.

  2. Any chance you would consider reducing some of these signature restrictions? Reduce, as in cut the max images to two.

    • Maximum of 4 images
    • Images up to 860 x 140 pixels
    • Maximum of 5 URLs
    • Maximum of 5 lines

    I know I can turn off signatures, but I don’t mind them. The sigs actually help differentiate the posts in this new design, but I think they need to be limited further. Maybe only 100 pixels high? A user who maxes out those first two bullets can really bog down a thread. And, for me at least, I pretty much give up looking at that thread.

    I realize these are just my thoughts and impressions--and I’m not about to leave the forums--but, in this new design, I think these considerations might help.

    The layout is like Buffaslug knocked up the new Buccaneers jerseys.

    Sarcasm aside, I HATE that quotes are no longer contained within a border.  It looks like every new poster is saying the EXACT same thing since you can't distinguish between quoted text and the new reply.

    Sorry guys, it's barfy.

    It's looking OK to me.

  4. Never one to make things easy. I have a request for a logo that I have no earthly idea as to it's origins. And it's no easy one.

    I present to you...RoboCardinal

    And I leave any re-creative liberty to you, Ren.

    Yowzas. Maybe from the old St. Louis (football) Cardinals?

  5. ^ Well by golly that's where my High School(Ames)'s Quarterback is headed next year! He'll(Straub) do great things, I'm hoping so at least.. As for my reply, here's a clearer image. :)

    Good gravy, I've been looking for that forever. If you tell me you Googled it, I might lose it. :P

  6. Well, finally got my video card so went ahead & made the 2nd part to my video. This was my first time using ezvid to do my screen capture so it seemed easy enough but didn't realize it only recorded a max of 10 min at a time therefore once done it automatically cropped my video. A little disappointed with that but had to work with what it didn't hack, hopefully it still turned out ok for you guys. Thanks for watching!

    [...video...]

    Good gravy. The Penn State video is awesome. Although I've been using the pen tool for a while, I'm still trying to get the hang of it. So this video is very helpful. If nothing else, it at least lets me know I'm not doing things way off the mark.

    By the way, using the pen tool in a Penn State video... even more genius. :notworthy:

  7. The way The Creamer Academy Awards will be run is that the 2014 Creamer Awards will recognize all the work and activity completed in 2013. Any work completed in this calendar year will be eligible for the 2015 Creamer Awards.

    /// Reasoning ///

    These awards are not a competition. We don't want people rushing their concepts, trying to sneak in under-the-wire to make the awards. In fact, we're hoping for the exact opposite, that this causes the artists of this forum to slow down and really dive into their concepts. We're trying to recognize the artists and members who go above and beyond, even when there wasn't seemingly an award for it.

    I wasn't trying to sneak in or anything. Just simply stating that I may not qualify for Rookie in this calendar year. Trying to be self-deprecating, but it didn't come through. I'm definitely not worthy of these yet. Which is why I also mentioned Most Improved.

  8. ...

    // GUIDELINES //

    Recipients of the prestigious Creamer Award will be measured against the following guidelines:

    • Quality over Quantity (10 exceptional concepts are better than 95 standard concepts)
    • Original Ideas
    • Deep and Well Rounded (does the concept go above and beyond?)
    • Concept Originated on or near the CCSLC

    None of these criteria are impossible by any means, but they will require dedication, innovation, and a certain "x-factor" that is not found commonly in concepts.

    // AWARDS //

    On an ongoing basis, we will be awarding 6 awards per year:

    • Best Overall Concept
    • Best (Individual Sport) Concept
    • Best Concept Series
    • Rookie Of The Year
    • Most Improved
    • Best C&C

    ...

    I'm gunning for Rookie or Most Improved.

    Although, I technically first posted a third kit in August 2013, so maybe not Rookie.
