  1. I'm not Phantom Dreamer. Who is Phantom Dreamer? I was referred to as such in another thread. I like the old trident jerseys. They make better throwbacks than the uniforms of the late 1980s. Nothing about the late 1980s uniforms says "Mariners". It wasn't so much the Romanesque letters that bothered me, but the "M's" logo. Nothing about it says "Mariners". At least with the current uniforms, you have the compass rose, and the 70s/early 80s has the trident.
  2. I think the old trident should be added, and then combine that with the compass rose.
  3. Are you Phantom Dreamer? No I'm not. Do you have anything better to do that make passive-aggressive attacks on me? I haven't insulted you or made any rude comments. Why must you do such things?
  4. Use the uniform more often for Sunday home games.

    MLB Fauxbacks

The Royals really do look royal in this case.
  6. That jersey is hideous. They're mixing eras - the star-trident logo replaced this one, didn't run concurrently. How is it hideous? The star-trident logo was used for the 1979 All-Star game in Seattle. Besides the mismatched logos from different eras, it's just flat out hideous. Nothing even close to the current beauties. The M-Trident is highly overrated. You really can't even tell its a trident, truthfully, without the full-length handle. Which if you added that, would make it even more awkward looking. The whole thing just looks gimmicky. The compass rose-ball logo looks more simple/modern and classy. And the colors are far superior for a team named the Mariners. That jersey is hideous. And besides, this is a discussion about THROWBACK uniforms. This is a throwback uniform. It could be alot worse, such as the 1987-1992 uniforms.
  7. I would say the dinosaur thing needs to be dumped altogether. A raptor is a bird of prey, such as a vulture or a falcon. Other than that, the CN Tower/Maple Leaf goes well with this.

  9. It's not very good, as I do better with a pen and pencil than with Adobe Illustrator. However, this is part of my concept. This is one logo for the Vancouver Whales.
  10. I'm new to the thread. I only signed up a few hours ago.
  11. I'm am only starting to learn about photoshop, so any logos will be available within the next day or two.
  12. It's a concept of mine. I've drawn what some of the logos might look like on paper before. However, I've never done graphic art before. I'm just now learning one can make logos with adobe illustrator. However, it was an idea I've had.
  13. Changes I would like to see: Seattle Mariners: I love the teal crowned caps and the navy hats with the teal bills. About time. I would also like to see the team use the old trident "M" uniforms from the early 80s more often. It has been done before, but I should be done more often. Milwaukee Brewers: Keep the current "M" and "Brewers" logo for the uniforms. However, I say combine a bit of old with new. I say bring back pinstripes and the shade of blue and gold used back in the 1980s. Pittsburgh Pirates; Good thing using the mustard caps on Sunday home games. However, it would be even better to bring back the 1979 uniforms(with the pillbox caps) too. San Diego Padres: Drop the current uniforms and go back to the swinging friar, and use the color scheme/pinstripes of the 1990s. The current uniforms just doesn't say "Padres" enough. Nothing about it says "Padres" to me. Detroit Tigers: Actually use the name "Tigers" on the uniforms.
