  1. It's been quite some time since I've actually pulled any concepts together, but I had some spare time to pull together a Seattle Kraken concept. There are 4 jerseys in this set - home, away, and 2 alternates. These were just some initial ideas that I had in mind and I plan on expanding these and making use of the anchor logo and wordmark a bit more in future concepts. As always - would love to hear some feedback. C&C is always appreciated! Home Home set is primarily dark blue. Lighter shades of blue primarily take precedent on the sleeves and lower half of the jersey. I added a white outline around the primary logo as I feel it provides a bit more pop.The space needle anchor sits on the shoulders and I kept the font fairly traditional. The jersey numbers are tri-layered with light blue on the outside, a layer of dark blue in the middle, and then primarily white in the center. I tinkered with some more modern fonts and different types of styling, but liked this the best. Away The away set is primarily white as usual. I chose to keep the design consistent with the home, but decided to add a blue shoulder yoke. I did stray away from the triple blue as I had in the home jersey and focused more on the dark blue for this set. I like the heavier feel that it gives the jersey as opposed to all of the lighter blues. White outline was removed from the crest. Number and nameplate font stay the same. Numbers are still tri-colored with the heavier dark blue, light blue, dark blue. Alt #1 This is one that I feel could be a primary jersey, but I preferred the dark blue for the home set. Same design, with just some color inversion. I played around with no shoulder yoke on this, but again really felt it gave the set the heaviness it needed with the dark blue up top. Alt #2 Here's another alt jersey. This is not a favorite of mine because I think it's just too much going on with all the red, but wanted to share to see what others thought.
  2. Vegas Golden Knights -- 4 of 31 This is a design I pulled together a few years back after the Vegas logo was released. I did go a little crazy and have 3 alternates, but I couldn't decide which I liked best. I know most will say the gray may be the better primary for home, but there was something about the black that I really felt was powerful. I used a thick and thin striping pattern and more of a sharp number font instead of your traditional rounded. Jersey crest stays the same with secondary patches on the shoulder of each. Let me know what you think!
  3. Arizona Coyotes -- 3 of 31 Moving on to what may be one of my favorite designs I've ever put together. Maroon home, white away and black alt for the Arizona Coyotes. Actually debated using the black as the primary home, but decided against it. Simple striping pattern. More of a block font. Sublimated sun rays on the back of the jersey pays homage to the state flag. C&C greatly appreciated!
  4. Winnipeg Jets -- 2 of 31 Next up is the Winnipeg Jets. I may have gone a bit against the grain here as I know most people love the double blue for the Jets, but I decided to remove it from the normal home and away sets. However, I did keep it on an alternate sweater which I do think most may like. I kept the design very traditional with double sleeve striping outlined in silver. You will see the traditional maple leaf on both the front (jersey crest) and back (above nameplate). Dark blue for the home, white for the away, and the lighter shade of blue for the alts. C&C is greatly appreciated!
  5. I'm just not a fan of the Adidas template and structure as I mentioned in the intro. Just a personal preference I'll be using the Reebok for the whole series. Thank you!
  6. It's been quite some time since I've posted any topics here, but I'd like to get back into the redesign game. With this thread, I will be redesigning the current NHL jersey landscape for the 2019-2020 season. Each team will have a home, an away, and at least one alternate jersey (possibly more!). I'm not the biggest fan of the current Adidas templates so I will be using an older version of a Reebok that I have. Some of these designs will be minor tweaks to ones that I've created in the past, while some will be completely refreshed. The goal is to complete all 31 NHL teams (no particular order) and if I'm feeling a little crazy, I may try my hand at a Seattle expansion. All that being said, I hope you enjoy the designs and would love to get any/all constructive feedback. Columbus Blue Jackets -- 1 of 31 I feel as though there is so much potential for the Blue Jackets to leverage the whole Civil War / patriotism theme. For this design, I've replaced the current jersey crest with the team's cannon logo. The overall look is completely geared towards the aforementioned theme. Sleeve striping is representative of a sergeant patch you'd see on a Union Army uniform. You'll also see a sublimated version of Ohio carried through all 4 designs paying homage to the state. Blue for the primary home, white for the primary away, and red as an alternate option. I did also pull together a second alternate utilizing a blue and creme color scheme. I felt it gave the design a vintage look and could be used for special occasion games.
  7. I've been working on this same project for quite some time now, except I threw out all helmet rules in mine. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to dedicate to it fully and haven't posted anything. Glad to see something like this come to life. The color rush unis in my opinion are mostly hideous and this would be ideal. It would appeal to a broad audience and I can guarantee NFL would sell jerseys like hotcakes. As for your work so far, great job. Love the take on the Patriots. Not a fan of the Bengals though. I know this is a classic throwback look, but it's too Cleveland Brown-ish for me. Just a personal preference. That aside, the presentation is stellar. Rams - by far the best. As for San Fran, I'd slap a logo on that helmet. Overall great stuff here.
  8. Ya don't see too many Nascar concepts on here so it's good to see this and very well done to say the least. Amazing detail. Would you be able to share this template?
  9. I do feel the outside could use a little flair, but it does give a modern and unique feel right now. I think the design in general is brilliant. I love it (and hate the Raiders all at the same time). Maybe build the walls up a bit higher? Add some big banners/LED signs or something. I think it needs to be more "Raider-fied" Regardless, this is a great start. Definitely excited to see what you have in store for the interior
  10. So I felt my last San Jose design had way too much going on. I've toned it down a bit. Gave them a more classic look. Tried to pay homage to their original look. I've removed all traces of orange (except in the logo) and went with a teal, black and silver scheme. I've also introduced a charcoal colored alternate. Those silver jerseys back in the day were pretty unique. Instead of going full silver, I've darkened it to a charcoal color. I think it really makes the other colors pop. Also, would love to get some feedback on my other updates to Winnipeg, VGK, and Anaheim. Thanks as always! Hope you enjoy! Home Sweater Away Sweater Charcoal Alt Black Alt
  11. Winnipeg was another design of mine I felt was weak in this last series. It was my first concept (pretty sure the first one I've ever posted on here). I've since come back to it and switched gears. One thing I think that the jerseys in the league lack today is pizzazz. They're bland (for the most part). I want to give the jersey meaning. My goal is to create designs that are fun, have meaning, and overall create something that people would want to wear. That being said...here's the new Winnipeg Winnipeg Jets Right now, the Jets have way too many colors going on. The goal here was to create a cohesive and sleek look, while still staying true to the "Jets". I've gone with a double stripe on both the sleeves and the waist. Kept it consistent unlike the pattern they use now. This will likely be an unpopular decision, but I've decided to drop the light blue (don't worry, I made it the primary in the alt). Again, I felt there's too much going on with their current set so I've toned the scheme down a bit by removing it. Font stays the same. It's unique. Also garnished a maple leaf right above the nameplate in red. I think using just a touch of red really brings this set together. Let me know what you think!! 12. As I've stated above, I've already posted these in a separate thread a few weeks ago, but here they are again to maybe get some more feedback and keep my NHL all in one post. I was actually pretty pleased with their jersey when it was released (one of only a few I liked). Still partial to my design though. I'd put some of mine up against Adidas any day . 5 different looks. Yes 5 (Gold being my least favorite). Might be overkill, but I was having too much fun to stop... 13. Thanks! Really appreciate the positive feedback. My NFL is a little dated (2015), however, I was thinking of revisiting that next, or even possibly trying my hand at the NBA.
  14. I know I completed this series almost a year ago, but I've since revisited a few teams. So far, I've come back to the Ducks and Knights. I posted the Knights in a separate thread, but I'll add them here as well. Not sure as to which teams I'll revisit, however I do know that I'd like to work on the Sharks next. I feel like my design above is just too busy and could use a redo. And yes, I am aware this is a Reebok template...just wanted to keep it consistent with the series above. Anyway, here's the new Ducks. I know the eggplant and teal is such a unique scheme (honestly a favorite of mine for Anaheim), however it seems that the orange, black and gold is working for them. One thing I am sure of is that the old hockey duck logo makes for a better crest and is definitely a fan favorite. Their orange third jersey definitely had a heavy influence on these. Below, I've created a home, away and alternate using the old logo. The webbed foot stays (it is a good logo) as a shoulder patch. As of now, I have the home as orange, away as white, and the alt as black. The black and orange could be interchangeable depending on what people think. Home Sweater Away Sweater Alt Black Sweater
  15. Thanks! There's something about the red that I really liked. Agreed on the "Golden Knights" issue. If it were up to me it would just be the Las Vegas Knights. I think that's more than appropriate and actually sounds good as well
  16. Thanks all for the suggestions. As requested, here's the gold alternate. Again, I'm personally not a huge fan. There's just something about it that I can't put my finger on. Ideally, I'd go with the black as the alternate. The red was just for fun and out of the box, but I actually like that one quite a bit.
  17. Yeah no alts next year like you said minus the special events. These are just what I'd like to see. I'll come up with a gold version as well
  18. Last year I did a full re-design for the NHL. At the time, the Vegas logo wasn't out yet. Now that it is and it's getting close to the jersey reveal, here's my take on the Vegas Golden Knights. I have a few different designs that I put together, however, this one was the one I liked the best. I wanted to give the feel that there are different sections to the jersey much like the armor of a knight (shoulder yoke, sleeve/waist striping). I dabbled without a yoke for a bit, but opted for it simply for that reason. The secondary mark is used as a patch on the shoulders. Striping is consistent across the waist and sleeves. If you've seen my NHL series, you'll know that I love sublimation so I had to throw my spin in on this one. I used the "Welcome to Vegas" stars across the gold striping on the waist. I didn't carry it to the sleeves because it felt too busy. There are 4 jerseys in this set. Home/away/2 alts. Alternates are a black and a red version. I opted to not make a gold because I'm not a huge fan of it as a primary (ie Jaguars color rush). Anyway, let me know what you think. I'll likely post my other versions I created as well. 19. Atlanta Falcons I really enjoyed doing this one. Mainly because I wanted to bring the gray pants back. Anyway, helmet is red with a gray facemask. Solid black for home jersey with white numbers outlined in red. Away is white with black numbers featuring a red outline as well. NOB is solid on both sets with no outline. Falcon patch is featured on the sleeves. I debated using the wordmark on the chest, but I really like the way it looks so I kept it. Gray pants throughout the set (personal preference). Solid red socks to finish it off. Let me know what ya think!
  20. Updated the road socks per request. I was going to do the same for the home, however, I like the solid red there.
  21. Thanks for the input. Update is posted above. I knew something looked funny with the pants. Fixed that. Moved the front numbers up a tad and added a wordmark. I originally stayed away from the wordmark to keep it super plain and simple, but now that I have it, I kinda like it.
  22. For quite some time now, I've had an idea for the NFL that I'm finally bringing to life in a series. I think I'm in the majority in saying that most of these NFL Color Rush uniforms are just hard on the eyes (putting it kindly). So instead of Thursday night games being Color Rush, let's have Throwback Thursday. The idea is to gain interest from all targets. It's a fairly new, trendy term that appeals to the young market, however it also reaches the older population in that teams can bring back some classic looks (i.e. Oilers, Orange Crush Broncos, etc). Not to mention it would just give the NFL more jerseys to put on the shelves. I think it could really be a hit. Parameters for this project are as follows. I'll be creating a dark set and a light set (home/away) for each team. Some teams may have just a plain retro look they've used in the past and some I will be putting a twist on. NFL one helmet rule is out the window (teams will be allowed to use a shell that is different from their primary). I'll most likely be going in alphabetical order unless someone has a suggestion they'd like me to bump up. Now, I haven't had much time as of late to creating concepts, so I can't promise I'll be pumping these out super fast. Anyway, as always, C&C is appreciated. Enjoy! Arizona Cardinals (1/32) First up, Arizona. For the most part the Cardinals have had a pretty plain past. I didn't want to go too hog wild on this one. Plain reds for the home and white for the away. Alternating pant colors with double striping. Helmets are white with the original logo and features the classic gray facemask. Also reverted back to more of the brick color red.
  23. Philadelphia Phillies Keeping it in the East, my beloved Phillies. It's always a roller coaster being a Philadelphia sports fan and right now for the Phillies, it's the bad part of the ride. But hey, there's always next year. Anyway, I really like the retro maroon and gray colors (the powder is okay too), so I played around with a bunch of those. I'd really love to see that scheme come back as a possible Sunday set as opposed to the awful cream color they use. Also added some Liberty Bell caps and some PHILA sort of like the Sixers do. Figured these could be used during BP and such.
  24. Montreal Expos Here's the first defunct team. Just playing around with some different color schemes and a darker shade of blue and gray on some. If this series turns into a uni concept thread, I'd lean towards using the top right or bottom right as I think those may be my favorites.
  25. Appreciate that! Yeah, I feel as though it's sorta cliche to use the C logo, but in all honesty, I haven't seen many concepts that actually utilize it, but I really think it works. Either way, I think it's a fun one and definitely could be a cool option. Also in agreement that the Rockies definitely need an overhaul.
