  1. Arizona Cardinals (14 of 32) If you have been around these boards long enough to follow my old series from back in 2015, you'll know I'm a fan of sublimation when done tastefully. When I began working on the Cards here - I started to realize less is more with the franchise over the years. Outside of their current design, they've been pretty plain. And don't get me wrong - plain is not a bad thing. Their current set is way too 2000s ish and it's time to move back to basics. Similar to an old design I conjured up in the past for AZ, I'm bringing back that sublimation. On to the changes. 3 helmet options including a fauxback. Primary helmet is white and now has a white grill. For the unis - 4 sets. Home red/maroon, white away, black alt, and fauxback. This is where I'd love the feedback from the boards again. I am posting both colorways. The first is the current brighter shade of red that the team uses. The second is a darkened, more maroon color. Personally - I actually think I like the darker shade better. Enough chitchat - here are the sets...
  2. Thanks so much! You and a few others definitely helped me out with this one and I'm happy with how the final design turned out.
  3. New Orleans Saints (13 of 32) I'll start by saying I love the simplicity of the Saints current set. I didn't stray too far away from the simplicity, but took a stab at what I'd like them to do with some minor changes. 3 helmet options here. Primary being the gold. Biggest change here is that I darkened the gold and the alternate helmets are without striping (personal preference for those, but like the stripe on the gold). Black home, white away, gold alt and a NOLA semi-blackout alt. Primary jerseys consist of evenly spaced and sized stripes. Helmet and pant stripe match. Gold numbers on both the home, away and blackout alt. Gold, white and black pant options. New Orleans is now the jersey script on the away. NOLA on the black alt. Yeah - just a couple of simple changes here for NO.
  4. I removed the silver and limited it to the two colored stripe. I like your idea of placing it towards the bottom, however, that's very similar to what I may be doing with Buffalo - so to keep them differentiated, I'm going to leave as is. I do appreciate all the feedback though! I think the design has come a long way over the past few days and I'm pretty happy with the overall look. Here's the final revision to New England...
  5. Fantastic idea. Here's what I did... Used the font from the first set I posted. Also changed the pants back to the single stripe to match the helmet instead of the jersey. Figured this way I wouldn't have to worry about that jersey stripe when I switched back to blue pants. Also changed the socks on the red alt to blue to balance out the set. I love all of this feedback. Really helping this set progress! Now here's a new question - on the jersey striping - do I change that to a two colored stripe instead of three? Essentially remove the silver and replace it with the bottom color?
  6. Agree - I was trying to get away from the silver. Here's what it would look like with the white and blue pants with the white lid. I am liking this, but feel there's something off with the blue pants. The striping is a little complicated. Thoughts on this?
  7. Fully understand and respect all the feedback. The 1776 and the stars were actually a very last minute addition to the set. I still love it overall, but I totally see how these may be better suited to be more of an alternate than they are a primary set. For what it's worth - here was the original design for the home, away and alt.
  8. New England Patriots (12 of 32) It's a new era in New England. I feel as though New England needs a strong identity. Their current sets don't do that for me. I'm a big history fan, so I was looking forward to creating this set. The final designs I settled on were actually supposed to be an alternate, but I went full on American Revolution and made that the primary theme. I truly love when a team can incorporate local history in their design so this one was a lot of fun. For the main changes - Pat Patriot is back full time on the primary helmet. Silver has now become just an accent color (seen on Pat Patriot, secondary pants and on the silver alt jersey). Also created a throwback flying Elvis helmet and a third style which I did not create a set for. Might get to that in the future. Blue home, white away, silver and red alts, and a fauxback set which is more a mashup of eras. White and blue pants are the primary, with silver being more optional. For the unis - striping pattern on the sleeves pays homage to the Son's of Liberty. It's representative of their flag with 5 stripes. 13 star patch over the left chest representing the 13 original colonies. 1776 written on the inside collar. Red socks across all sets to match the Pat Patriot logo. Lastly, I made a fauxback set which is more a mashup of eras with different designs and fonts. As always - hope you enjoy!
  9. Thanks! It was just a preference really. I liked the look of the sword handles better and wanted to try something different. For that helmet - just wanted to do something outside the box of "normal" where you'd see the logo on the side of a helmet.
  10. Las Vegas Raiders (11 of 32) Vegas...still weird to say that. But here we have the Raiders. I'm not looking to re-invent the wheel here as this is one of the few teams in the NFL that have a timeless look. I made some minor adjustments to their primary set and added a little spice into some alternates and helmets. I will say, I never realized how much the Raiders could use a white or black helmet. I love how these turned out. Changes to the unis - wordmark above the numbers on all sets which is new for the Raiders. 3 pant sets - silver primary with black and white as options as well. Added a new silver alt with white numbers. Kept the white alt with the silver numbers (such a clean look and one of the best in the league). And lastly I added what I like to call the "Sin City" alt. Kind of a play on the city editions that I've been making for some teams. Yeah, I went a little outside the box on that one with the helmet, but hey, it's Vegas, so why not have some fun. I've said enough. Hope you enjoy and always looking for feedback good or bad!
  11. Yeah I definitely agree with you being very similar. I was going for a blend of years, but way too similar. I may revisit at the end and play around with it. Thanks! Really appreciate it Thanks so much! Big fan of the old Jags logo as well
  12. I will also jump on this wagon - fantastic job on Washington!
  13. Jacksonville Jaguars (10 of 32) Next up is Jacksonville. The Jags have gone under some wild changes over the past few years from extreme designs to very simplistic. Their current sets just don't do it for me. Too simple, too plain, to blocky. When I think Jaguars, I think sleek, sharp edges. I almost pivoted back to what I would think could've been a next evolution of their set from 2013-2017. 4 helmet / jersey options including a fauxback set. For the main - black home, white away, alt teal and the teal fauxback. This one is more outside the box than some of my other designs. It's very similar to the set I created for them in my last series that got a lot of love. Just made a few important tweaks to make it better (hopefully). Let me know what you think!
  14. Miami Dolphins (9 of 32) Moving along to the next set - Miami. I wanted to give the Dolphins something simple and modern. It also goes without saying that they have one of the best throwback unis in the game. No - I did not recreate the wheel as I want to show changes and not just recreate what has been done - but for the record, it would be part of my ideal Dolphins set. On to the main changes! I kept the logo the same, but removed the darker shade of blue and changed it to more of a gray because...well...dolphin. I also gave the numbers a funky drop shadow that is in line with their wordmark. In addition to the gray on the logo, I've also added a gray set of pants. Some may like it, some may not, I actually do. Simple striping pattern on the home, away and alt. Home teal, white away, orange alt. Kept going with the city pride theme and created what I like to call - the Miami Vice alt. For that, I went with a faded black as the primary color with the blue and pink accents. The helmet is actually a design I submitted years ago in a UniWatch Dolphins redesign contest that ended up placing. For the alt, I just recolored it to fit the set, but the original submission is in traditional Miami colors in the helmet options. I was actually going to make that the primary helmet, but changed last minute. Sleeve striping has shaded colors of blue with a pink cap to represent the sun. Let me know what you think!
  15. Houston Texans (8 of 32) If you followed my older series back in 2016, you'll know that I think the Texans missed an opportunity to split their logo like the Texas flag. I've seen others that feel the same and I truly think it works so well. Couple interesting notes for the Texans - instead of sticking with one primary helmet, they will interchange based on the uniform. Home blue, away white, alt red. Another bigger change was to the away numbers where blue is now the fill color. Also of note - only one set of pants - all white that mimic the Texas flag. Last design is what I like to call the "Don't Mess" alternate. This uniform is all about Texas pride. Big ole sublimated state of Texas logo on the back that sits behind the numbers. I also went with more of a "Texas font". Pants stay the same, but actually change to a dark brown to mimic an old pair of chaps. Big Texas flag over the left chest. "Don't Mess" both on the jersey and the helmet bumper. I've said enough - hopefully you'll enjoy this set as much as I do.
  16. Tennessee Titans (7 of 32) Next up, we have the Titans. Their new set is sort of growing on me, but I still have weird issues with the silver shoulders and the blue helmets. I tried creating so many different designs for this team, but I kept coming back to that classic shoulder striping. I feel as though the home, away and alt are a combination of past and present with some minor adjustments (piping around shoulder striping and addition of stars to the back collar). The major changes comes with the primary helmet where the flame takes focus. I did go a little helmet happy again, but was just playing around with ideas. Home set is dark blue, away white, alternate light blue. I've also given the Titans an Oilers Fauxback as it's not 100% an exact throwback replica. Lastly, the one that I'm most excited about is the Music City alt. The set pays homage to the team's history in Tennessee utilizing the team's original Titans number font. Small nod to the Predators numbers as you'll see the 6 stripes through. These represent the 6 strings on a guitar and are present on the shoulder striping, pants and helmet as well. Another cool addition paying homage to the city of Nashville is the larger size Nashville wording on the front, "Nash" on the helmet bumper, and a sublimated city skyline that sits behind the player's name. As always - enjoy and let me know what you think!
  17. New York Jets (6 of 32) Next up, we have the New York Jets. I definitely feel as though their most recent redesign could use some work. I think the Jets are one of those teams that with a combination of new and old elements, they could have a really cool set. My changes begin with the helmet and the primary logo. I think it goes without saying that their retro Jets script may be one of the best they've had, and personally, it's my favorite for the Jets. Green on green becomes the primary helmet with a white, black and throwback. For the unis - I've gone back to a more blocky font which I think fits very well. I've also removed the black outlines from both home and away. Jerseys feature two major stripes that flow onto the chest of the jersey. Green home, white away, black alternate and a fauxback alternate. Seems as though a lot of people like the black alt for the Jets, so I've done it my way. The other alt is not a traditional throwback as I've changed minor elements of the design. Enjoy!
  18. Thanks for the feedback! I went back and revised the post to add striping back to the pants similar to what the Browns do today where it matches the helmet stripe. It's a good call - I do think it looks more visually appealing now. I ditched the newer style dog helmet (I wasn't a fan of that one either), but posted just to get some feedback originally. I did keep the older style dog, just out of personal preference. Also added a brownie elf alt. Dabbled with different colors, but settled on orange and a white facemask.
  19. Cleveland Browns (5 of 32) I'll start by saying the Cleveland Browns got it right with their latest redesign. I think it's quite perfect actually, but I don't want to fully copy that look. While there may not be ground shaking changes with this concept, I think it came out clean and simple. I had a little fun again with the helmet options. The primary helmet remains pretty much unchanged with the exception of a thinner white stripe. I have changed the shade of orange to a brighter color than what the Browns use today. The other main changes I made were to the sleeve striping and the number font / style. The pants have also changed to just a simple solid color. No striping at all. I've also removed the TV numbers from the shoulders. I think that pretty much hits the changes. Brown home, white away, orange alt, and what I like to call - a peanut butter alt. Nothing crazy on that, but just replaced white with a cream color and I quite frankly think it's pretty cool. As always, hope you enjoy! C&C greatly appreciated!
  20. Seattle Seahawks (4 of 32) Next up is Seattle. Years back when they went with such a modern design, it came with some flack. It was extreme for the time, but I think it's one of the coolest looks in the NFL. That being said, there are some dislikes I have with the current look. There is a lot of unnecessary elements that I think they go a bit overboard with - i.e. the excessive use of that feather pattern. My goal with this team wasn't to completely change their identity, but rather clean up a bit and pay homage to the unis of their past (love the old blue and silver). I only came up with 3 helmet options here - the primary being the silver lid with the current color scheme. 4 total uni sets with different pant combinations - dark blue home, white away, retro blue home alt, and retro white away alt. Some of the main changes I made include - reduction of the feather usage, lightened the shade of gray to more of a silver, adjusted the away color striping to incorporate more green, primary helmet back to silver, no helmet striping, and the word "Hawks" is now across the helmet bumper. I've still kept the 12 feathers on the pant striping representative of the 12th man. Also pay homage to that on the inside collar of the jersey. I'll be honest - I also feel that the retro alternates are really cool and could compete with the primary sets I made, but would love to hear what you all think. Enjoy!
  21. Appreciate the feedback! Can set our differences aside for the love of uni concepts haha
  22. Carolina Panthers (3 of 32) Keeping it in the NFC South - next we have the Carolina Panthers. I think the Panthers are another team that have a great color scheme to play with. I've created 3 helmet concepts with the black being the new primary. All helmets feature an enlarged panther logo and two short stripes. For the uniforms - there are 3 sets - black home, white away, and blue alternate. My goal here was to create something modern, but not too extravagant. Shoulder striping is inspired by scratch marks and also plays into the pant striping. For the pant stripes, I just enlarged what I did on the shoulders and ran it through a single stripe. I think it looks pretty cool and brings an interesting flair. This is very similar to the design I made for the Panthers years back that got great feedback. I took that and updated the look. Let me know what you think!
  23. Bengals will definitely have a "White Tiger" alt! Back in 2014/2015, I did a full re-design with the all whites included and plan to revamp that with a few tweaks. Thanks! I do agree with you that at the end of the day, realistically, I'd probably settle on two, maybe three helmet looks. I was just having fun with those and interchanging colors seeing what people liked best. As for the program, I'm just using MS Paint. Nothing special. I'm not savvy enough with Photoshop to use that yet, so I keep it old school haha. Trying to learn that in my spare time as I'd love to create some realistic 3D concepts.
  24. Intro to Series Hi all! It's been quite some time since I've produced any concepts, but wanted to get back in the game after the complete botch that was the Washington Commanders. I'll be going through all 32 NFL teams in no particular order. Guidelines for this project are as follows - Unlimited helmet styles, 1 home set, 1 away set, and 1 or more alternate / throwback sets. Some teams may have minor tweaks, some may have major overhauls. Each concept is simply what I'd like to see the team do. All designs are done in MS Paint. Hopefully you'll enjoy the series and as always C&C is greatly appreciated. Washington Commanders (1 of 32) What a miss. Sure, we can bash the new nickname, but what they did with the uniforms was an abomination. No sense of tradition, no consistency, no gold on the road unis, and using black as an alternate - just feels so 2000s. The redesign the team produced does not feel like a near 100 year old franchise. What I've done here was created 4 different sets with 4 different helmet options. I've paired them how I feel may look the best, but am open to any combinations you'd like to see. Maroon home, white away, yellow and smoke alternates. I went a little more traditional with the number fonts. I really played on the 3 star DC flag nod which you will see on both the helmet bumper and the sleeve stripes. Realistically, these stars would be embossed on the actual helmets and sewing of the jersey (little limited with MS Paint). Another new feature which we don't see in the NFL today was the color change on the back bumper of the helmets. I played around with some color options and like the looks of these as opposed to just the normal white that all teams use today. The last big change was the addition of the yellow and smoke / charcoal alternates. Yellow was a fun one and a nod to the past while if they want to do a darker jersey, I just feel it's a much better look with a charcoal opposed to the black that the team used. I actually really like how the charcoal turned out (even as an Eagles fan) Enjoy! Atlanta Falcons (2 of 32) Next up we have the Falcons. Atlanta is one of those teams in the league that has a great color scheme in my opinion. You can get some real cool looks with red, silver and white popping on the black. However, they're another team that has recently gone through an overhaul that I am not a fan of - i.e. gradients, drop shadow, gigantic wordmarks. What I've done here was try to take the minimalistic trend approach while blending modern with the past. Purists may not like the how the helmet stripe doesn't match the sleeve striping and pants, but I feel it works and am happy with the look. As for the changes - back to the black on primary helmet with both a matte finish on the lid and facemask. I've also created a few other helmet colors and styles. I've added an oversized falcon on the primary helmets and have added player numbers to the back. For the jerseys - Black home, white away, gray alternate, and a red fauxback that blends present and past. I've kept the number font, but lost the drop shadow. I dabbled with a number outline, but opted against it. Pant options are gray, white, and black. Again - just showed a few style combinations of what thought looked best. Always open to other combos. As always, C&C is greatly appreciated! Hope you enjoy!
