The Mets are just terrific. It’s always fun when apple “NY” design appears.

Love that Mets concept. This has been such a fun series to follow!

    Thanks guys! 😁

Could you use the Mets primary instead of the Apple logo? Also Alternates?

    Do you mean this?

    Brew Crew look great!

One minor tweak, move the barley head up towards the hip so it’s in the same position whether a player is going high or low cuffed.

You really killed it with the Brewers! This makes me wish their home uniforms actually were that shade of rich, dark cream.

I agree with @Carolingian Steamroller's suggestion about repositioning the barley on the pants. In a perfect world, high cuffed pants would be mandatory.

Thank you guys! Here's the tweaked Brewers uni:

And here's the Marlins tweaked design, using the jersey graphic on the socks:

Woah, the Marlins look incredible! Really loving that road set!

I think it would be cool if you could continue the scale pattern on the socks somehow.

Thanks! I'll try that idea out for the next weekend 😉

Moving on to Milwaukee with the Brewers, whose uniform idea was suggested by @Paul Lucas, inspired by the New Zealand's away kit, changing the silver fern for a wheat spike. The main colour used is cream for the home design is cream, inspired by the city nickname:

I can’t believe I haven’t gotten a chance to comment on this series yet, but there’s really not much I could say anyway, since all of the designs are so great! The Red Sox, Rays, Rockies, Dodgers, Twins, A’s, and Mariners are some of my favorites so far.

    Looking forward to more!

Thank you guys for your kind feedback! I appriciate it.

Now, let's move to the East Coast with the Marlins!

The set is heavily inspired by the guayabera design. The home uniform features a pattern inspired by the scales of the marlin, while the road is inspired by the Art-Déco architecture:

  5. The deal between Nike and the Majors inspired this idea. For those who don't know it, Umbro is an UK-based soccer brand. It's one of my favourite sport brands, which reached their peak during the 70's, 80's and 90's, and now, after being bought and sold by Nike, they've been releasing great stuff for teams like Everton, Bournemouth, and many more.

I think they've managed to create an unique look thanks to the use of their distinctive logo.

That's why I've been thinking about creating a series re-imagining the MLB uniforms made by this brand. But since I'm not sure about it, here's an example of how it'd look like:

Every team would have two main uniforms, up to two alts and one retro design.

What do you think? Feedback appreciated!

How would it look with a pattern similar to this? blue-jays-fourth-of-july-cap-2016.jpg

Interesting idea! I'll try to make a set with that pattern

The D-Backs look outstanding. I could actually see them wearing something like this as a more “evolved” version of their current home uniforms. Great work!

    Thank you!

Let's continue the series with the Braves. The set is inspired by the team's 70's uniforms, featuring a front design based on the sleeve leafs from those jerseys:

Love the pattern. On the all-red, though, you sorta lose the "Blue" part of Blue Jays completely. If you can fit blue into that set, it's a winner (and some red on the all-blue, as well)

Haven't caught up with this thread for a while, but I have to say that you've done some really good ones lately!

The Rangers with the quilt pattern look really cool. You could use the road hat for both home & away, IMO.

The Rays are absolutely stunning! My only suggestion is to use yellow or light green for the number outline and the cap brims.

For Toronto, I really think you ought to keep the Blue Jay logo. Also, the maple leaf pattern looks a bit odd in blue; maybe consider implementing the Toronto flag T in a similar way?

Thank you guys for your feedback! I'll work on the Blue Jays set following your suggestions, in order to improve it.

Let's start the National League with the Diamondbacks!
The set is inspired by the current Inter Milan home jersey, using a subtle snake-ish stripe pattern for both home and road uniforms:

    fHUqNtE.png

Soon I'll start working, so I'm not sure if I'm gonna have much time for designing. For the moment, I only have the base for the Braves set, which will be inspired by the sleeve feather from the 70's, as well as the Rockies base idea. But I'll try to continue the series.

I love how the blue stripes on the white uniform really make the gold lettering pop!

The sailor suit idea for the M's is absolutely genius. Really happy you went with their classic blue and gold!

    Thank you very much guys!

Now, from the Northwest to the Southeast with the Rays!
For this set I decided to use the fauxback logo/wordmark, usign the gradient from the team's very first look on the sleeves as striped, inspired by the Sunshine Skyway Bridge at night.

The elephant skin pattern works because it's subtle. Looks great!

God, I hate these so much and yet they're amazing!  The traditionalist of baseball uniforms in me is screaming, but they do look really good!  I love the subliminal patterns to many of them.  Keep up the great work!

That A’s set looks great, my favorite so far!

Thank you very much guys! I really appreciate your kind feedback.

Staying in the West Coast, time for the Mariners!
I decided to use the M's throwback colours since the set is inspired by the Sailor Suit. Both uniforms feature the Marinière style with multiple hoops on the front and sleeves. While the home features a contrasting design, the away does it subtly.
