Might get flak for this but I really do think if they switch up the wordmark its the best the Wizards have ever looked. Blue and gold fits them so much better than being another RWB team (Nation's capital be darned)
-
Which is why I think/hope it means change is on the way. The Eagles, regardless of what they do with their color green, need a visual shakeup. It's been way too long

The Eagles will have ugly black helmets to go along with kelly green sure...but lets let merch sales do the talking. I think it will look obvious pretty quickly that midnight green and black will lag behind
-
Interesting, I actually thought the reverse
-
Wow I'm actually really impressed I like these a lot

This is one sexy league overall

Not sure if anyone saw this already but they're actually rolling these out on the hour. Does it feel like the Suns switch their set pretty frequently now? This would make it 3 sets in about 10 years. Just seems like they don't know exactly what they want to stick with. That being said, to me these look like an improvement. I'm much more a fan of the diagonal text and removal of beveling

Players on the "RIGHT" Team, but "WRONG" Uniform
ScubaSteve replied to kimball's topic in Sports Logo General Discussion
Iverson only looked right in the black jersey set. The irony is, no other player looked good in the black jersey set -
C-correct, those issues did cause them to then run out of money....(?)

Both the AAF and XFL (second iteration) were quite popular in their recent attempts. The former folded due to some absolutely bizarre mismanagement, and the latter due to COVID. One of these new leagues will work it's just a matter of timing. The interest is there, especially with the rise of betting and fantasy

I know the NBA's recent push for more jerseys is kind of overkill, but I'm not gonna pretend that "release day" isn't kind of like a little Christmas for me each year now

Did Love's pay more to sponsor this particular Thunder set? Because dear god its big ugly logo draws the eye immediately when everything else is plain white

Dropping the black worked wonders. These look so good

Looks like the Sixers jersey has Spectrum stripe panels! Love those, they hit it out of the park

https://twitter.com/JackPConnell/status/1440711504697856002?s=20 Sixers going with their 71-76 style font for City Edition. Love that quirky look for them this season, especially after the eyesore black ones

Dang, the Stubhub one was so small and subtle I really didn't mind it when compared to other teams'

Ah yes, current Chicago Bulls player and superstar, Michael Jordan

I was going to complain about monochrome and ponder when we'll see the end of it as a fad. BUT, in this case it is actually accurate so...

Funny thing is though this is their Away kit! The alternate is supposedly very wacky as well -

Tottenham just unveiled this. I don't actually hate it, mainly because I know they will wear it maybe 3 times tops -
That is lovely. Now throw it into a roundel for NBA logo compliance
-
As a fan its frustrating. Both the Eagles and Phillies organizations promote the hell out of their throwbacks to the point where I think they're only keeping their currently looks because they get to double dip from a sales perspective.

Real talk, after the first couple years of utilizing this how long until we have City Edition NFL uniforms?
