Florio has been going on about how he thinks the Vikings will unveil a surprise white helmet for their whiteout game, but this seems exceptionally unlikely to me. The NFL put out an announcement before the season detailing all the new alternate helmets, and teams need to practice in them to break them in. It would be basically impossible to keep them under wraps.

It is quite bizarre that the Chargers weren't first in line for an alternate helmet. Their navy uniforms look like they were 100% designed with alternate helmets in mind.

That looks not terrible.
Ramsey's yellow socks look not terrible on their own, but extremely terrible when paired with the rest of the team in blue socks.

and this is even the best one.
they also have an all white and an all black kit.
what in the world is Hummel doing?
they will sell very few of these!
It's in protest of Qatar's human rights abuses. They are boycotting commercial activities around the World Cup.
Would think someone with a NO ADS avatar might be OK with this.

Canada as the only team at the World Cup without a custom kit is really embarrassing for Nike. And honestly hard to understand.
Nike recently made custom kits for the Canadian women (and they are really nice), but the men get stuck in the most basic template stuff on the biggest stage?
Why can't they just make these for the men?

White socks with white pants is a travesty.

Dog's ass uniforms, indeed.

It is way, way, way more likely that that Cardinals pic is simply their current jersey (with either convenient folding that hides some of the piping or overzealous photoshopping that removed some of the piping) than a deliberate clue that new uniforms are coming for only the mega nerds on this forum to notice.
I mean come on, guys...

Apologies for not being on top of this thread, but do we know if any more alt helmets are planned for this season or have all of them been announced now?

Yeah this... this is not it. This is very much not it.

That helmet stripe is cut to accommodate the player name. That to me is on purpose, and given how everything else about this unison design seems to mimic combat uniforms, I'll bet that's being tested to be permanent
My dude... zoom in on the photo. Nothing is cut. It is a piece of label tape applied (somewhat sloppily, I might add) on top of everything. This is for rookie minicamp. The coaches don't know the players by name and many of the UDFAs won't make the roster for camp, anyhow. This is common practice.

Maybe just Training Camp decals?
Quite normal to put player name stickers on for camp.

Man is that boring. We don't need a black and white league logo. Give us some color.

This seems like it can't be right. Aren't there always fresh kits for the World Cup?

Apologies if this was covered earlier in the thread, but they got the years wrong in this logo. These are technically the years the Super Bowl was played, but no one would call this year's Super Bowl the 2022 Super Bowl. It's for the 2021 season. This is an astounding error.

Just awful. Absolutely awful. No consistency. And such stupid use of textures and quasi-gradients. Nike is basically checking off every box for what to get wrong here.

Man it just staggering how good this thread is. I am not on the forum that much these days and just went through the last year of your posts. I don't think anyone has ever posted better stuff here.

Also the 1950 uniform really isn’t too much of a change other than no white in the striping, and numbers are yellow. I don’t see them throwing back to a uniform that’s barely different.
Green pants is pretty different.

Now if the Argos fix the uniforms, they could easily have the best set in the league.

International (NATIONAL TEAMS) Soccer/Football Kits 2021/2022 (World Cup, etc)

Kind of surprised they are letting England and France go white over navy vs. navy over white. Wasn't it only like 2 World Cups ago that FIFA forced countries like Germany and England to ditch their dark shorts and go all white because they essentially wanted all counties in mono kits for maximum clashing in every match?
