  1. And with almost all of these, people online claimed it was the team deliberately planting fakes to throw us off the scent. LOL. Yeah, the Jets went to the trouble of designing fake uniforms and staging a fake photoshoot with Sam Darnold just to trick their fans for a whole week before unveiling the real uniforms. Money well spent!
  2. Or maybe it's evolving. We are all hungry for these tidbits. Isn't that why we come here? Gimme those tidbits. Also there is really not a whole lot stopping him from just describing the uniforms to us in more definitive (or even full) detail, but I will let him decide what he's comfortable doing.
  3. Wait, so they are officially adding grey to the color scheme and using this as the opportunity to finally make the facemask not grey?
  4. The draft makes no sense as a uniform reveal location. The pick isn't gonna wear the pants and helmet. At most he will hold up the jersey or put it on. And it would completely overshadow the pick (or vice versa) when you could just make them both big events that get full media coverage.
  5. This is basically what I am imagining based on all the hints. Except maybe more of a maroon, copper, navy blue? In my head is a uniform with some desert cardinal ideas and some gradient-y Arizona sunset ideas. Am I on the right track @TruColor?
  6. Oh this is Photoshop surely. I can't imaging radical new Nike uniforms that retain the same number font and wordmark.
  7. Based on how vague the few people who seem to have actual information about these uniforms are being, this is kind of what I expect.
  8. The ones posted above are at best tolerable. But when they wear white over stripeless white/black with barely a hint of teal or gold anywhere on the uniform... ugh. They aren't as easy to hate on as the Titans or Commanders because there is no single element that can be pointed out as bad. But the overall lack of any design details is just awful. They bore me to death.
  9. We have all seen the maroon and orange stuff. Is one of the new colors blue?
  10. AFC South is a contender for most boring uniform division. All 4 teams are primarily blue (depending on how you define teal). Lots of mono looks. But yeah I think the NFC South would take it if the Panthers commit to all black.
  11. All the Panthers are doing is changing the shade of blue slightly and changing the jersey template so the stripes don't go all the way around? Yikes. Huge whiff by the mothership in posting that article earlier confirming that "new uniforms" are coming. By no reasonable measure does this count as new uniforms.
  12. Shouldn't we all be past this? Every time a bad new uniform leaks (Titans, Jags, Jets, Browns, etc etc etc) people pray it is a smokescreen. No NFL team is spending resources making fake uniforms from scratch just to throw off fans for a couple weeks before the official unveiling lol. Just a ridiculous notion. Leaks are always real. Now in this particular case nothing has actually leaked yet, right? It all seems to trace back to one Reddit user. And we have absolutely seen Reddit users (and forum members here *cough* Teal) invent fake uniform news because they are, well, sociopaths. This case ... still kinda seems like it could be one of those. But Tru - if you have a photo of the new helmet in a factory and new pantone values from an actual trusted source and not some random Reddit guy, then how could this one possibly be a smokescreen?
  13. A lot of uniform things we dissect around here are nothing, but deliberately choosing the red helmets for the background of the first photos taken of your new head coach is very easy to believe as a more of a something than a nothing.
  14. I just can't see this happening. The Adams family is fiercely protective of the luv ya blue. Doubt they ever willingly give it up to the hated Texans. But if navy and yellow did happen, it would not only tie the Titans to other pro teams in their own market, but also sort of tie them to the historic New York Titans. Maybe they could even wrangle a way to wear those throwbacks if we're already going down the path of franchises trading history.
  15. It is going to get awkward in the AFC South if the Texans try to reclaim the old Oilers colors at the same time Titans fans are clamoring for Oilers throwbacks with the new helmet rules.
  16. Is it not quite unusual for a team to give local media a look at an upcoming uniform? Very likely details will leak. I mean ... NFL uniforms usually leak, anyhow. But why invite this?
  17. Is it crazy to say black over purple and white over purple are the Ravens' two best looks?
  18. Kind of surprised they are letting England and France go white over navy vs. navy over white. Wasn't it only like 2 World Cups ago that FIFA forced countries like Germany and England to ditch their dark shorts and go all white because they essentially wanted all counties in mono kits for maximum clashing in every match?
  19. Florio has been going on about how he thinks the Vikings will unveil a surprise white helmet for their whiteout game, but this seems exceptionally unlikely to me. The NFL put out an announcement before the season detailing all the new alternate helmets, and teams need to practice in them to break them in. It would be basically impossible to keep them under wraps.
  20. It is quite bizarre that the Chargers weren't first in line for an alternate helmet. Their navy uniforms look like they were 100% designed with alternate helmets in mind.
  21. Ramsey's yellow socks look not terrible on their own, but extremely terrible when paired with the rest of the team in blue socks.
  22. It's in protest of Qatar's human rights abuses. They are boycotting commercial activities around the World Cup. Would think someone with a NO ADS avatar might be OK with this.
  23. These with an improved number font (maybe just the old Oilers font) and a non-stupid helmet stripe (or no stripe at all) would be pretty close to perfect. Or just use these with the T logo.
  24. Canada as the only team at the World Cup without a custom kit is really embarrassing for Nike. And honestly hard to understand. Nike recently made custom kits for the Canadian women (and they are really nice), but the men get stuck in the most basic template stuff on the biggest stage? Why can't they just make these for the men?
