  1. Roll Tide, and I agree.. I am also from Alabama originally (and named "Bryant" for obvious reasons), but moved to SC and was much better at wrestling than football, so going to Alabama wasn't as much of an option for me.. I took a dual wrestling/football scholarship to a D2 school, but still root for Bama.. My dad, aunt, and sister are alumni, but even without that, I'd feel completely justified in pulling for them.
  2. The top left one that didn't make it is better imo
  3. I hate this more than I hate baggy pajama pants..
  4. It could be argued that the cowboys need to pick 2 blues.. Or a blue and a green.. Their helmet color is "texas blue" and their pants are metallic silver-green.. If they settled on helmet colors only, they would be navy blue and Texas blue (and white if you wanna count that too)
  5. the Cavaliers' "feather C" wordmark from the 69-74 jerseys (and current throwbacks) is missing
  6. I prefer the A to any of their other logos personally
  7. Yes, and the orange in heavy doses looks like Tennessee orange.. The color rush jerseys looked amazing in all the promo shots, but looked like trash in the game.. A case where accuracy was a bad thing
  8. It's a shame Dungy couldn't win a Super Bowl with him like Gruden did..
  9. I like the Steelers' italicized numbers better than their old block numbers
  10. do you still have the NCAA field template (paint compatable)? if so, i'd greatly appreciate it.. Thanks!

I do, but it is outdated. First thing, is since 2014 image hosting websites have restricted the size of images that can be uploaded in order to save themselves server space, and therefore money. My templates are to a scale of 1/2 inch = 1 pixel, which is an image of 9144x4344 pixels and is far too large for any image hosting site I am aware of. I am hoping to, in the coming winter break between semesters of grad school, to host my own web-server, in which I can serve half a TB, so I can distribute my templates and full sized fields to people who request them. I'm still a ways off, but I have sources to achieve that for free. As soon as I get that up and running I can get that to you. I've tried within the past week to get templates through email, but that also failed due to the size, but, if you need something of smaller scale I may be able to send something through. What size of image are you looking for? If I can make a smaller template I would gladly do it.

I'm just looking for something I can tinker concepts and mockups with.. If it's a paint file, would you be able to save it in sections and send it in separate emails? I don't mean to sound impatient, but if that would suffice as a solution (and assuming you don't mind), I can piece it back together in paint.. Also, if you have a viable, smaller version already available, that would do just fine.. Either way, thank you for the reply, and anything you can do will be greatly appreciated

  11. I actually like the Orange, but only as tertiary/trim.. Brown and yellow, with just a touch of orange looks beautiful imo
  12. I like the way the Browns / Baltimore situation was handled..
  13. i dont disagree with that, but to tell someone that their statement is incorrect, when the implication of their statement is accurate is a bit of a stretch.. every sport at every level other than D1 football is comprised of athletes receiving various forms of aid.. even "walk-ons" at every level are typically all receiving some sort of assistance.. i agree that, like this board, it's about the details, but to imply that everyone is wrong who says "D3 athletes don't get scholarships" (when they are clearly referring to athletic scholarships), is a bit of a stretch and overly nitpicky (and kinda sounds judgemental), imo..
  14. There is zero financial assistance for D3 athletes.. However, there are plenty of scholarship opportunities for D3 students.. They can still get institutional and federal aid.. Perhaps everyone isn't privy to the specifics, but everyone isn't even privy to the specifics around D1 either.. I've coached at the D2 level for 6 years now, and have a pretty good grasp of how it works as well.. I just think it's a bit nitpicky to suggest that everyone is incorrect who says D3 athletes don't get scholarships, when the implication is that they're referring specifically to athletic scholarships, and therefore are correct.
  15. You do realize that when people say, "D3 doesn't offer scholarships," they're talking about athletic grant-in-aid, don't you? People don't assume they offer zero institutional or federal aid for average students.. The implication is accurate.. They don't offer scholarships.. The most common "scholarships" people refer to are athletic scholarships.. I've never heard anyone use the term "grant-in-aid" outside a school setting, particularly when referring to college athletics..
  16. Just get rid of the sleeve logos that break up the stripes, and these are perfect
  17. Apart from the colored numerals, I kinda liked Oregon State's sports-bra jerseys
  18. I'd argue that grey is a relatively neutral color in football too, even if only for a small detail such as facemasks.. There's a reason grey was the standard facemask color for years, and has been the "default" stock color pretty much forever.. Also, with the giants - I don't think teams have any obligation to match grey facemasks to any other uniform element, but the giants do a nice job tying the grey facemask and pants together.. It kinda completes the look in my opinion and really helps make those grey pants more appropriate
  19. yeah, they've been a navy team with red logos and trim forever, then suddenly theyre an all red team with red logos and silver trim, with a tiny bit of navy accents.. they've established the red look by now, but for so long it felt so wrong..
  20. I've always hated their logo.. Too busy and they never use a partial.. I guess now I know why.. Interestingly, they were Mars Hill College not long ago, and the logo was identical, but with a C instead of U on the monogram within the logo
  21. The Catawba helmet logo is even worse.. They have a bad case of Ravens-itis going on with it.. It's that "feathered-C" logo inside a KC Chiefs style arrowhead.. Due to the shape of the arrowhead, it looks fine on the right side of the helmet (C is centered, with plenty of space for the feathers in the bottom left), but on the left side, the C gets mashed up to the top-right in order to fit the feathers (since the C isn't reversible, but the arrowhead is).. It looks awful
