  1. Really Cleveland? I know there is some sympathy for the city, but good gracious, the 3rd time in 4 years!!!
  2. With the name "Heat" I'd have to say option 1, I personally believe that the "Nightlife" option actually kinda looks better (nice Lambo in the photo there) but it's not giving off a very Heat/Hot vibe. I agree with you about switching up the black & red though, it's way to boring of a color scheme with such an original name like Heat, bright yellows and oranges would have to do it for me. Your work is awesome, so I can't wait for what comes next, I'll be following.
  3. And the Trail Blazers could just be the "Blazers". Although, that sounds kinda minor-league to me.
  4. BFBS? I feel like the home & away looks great without it, because black isn't really a main color in the game, it's red, white, with many shades of gray. These are very nice, I'm looking forward to the Grand Theft Auto uniform a lot.
  5. As a guy that has lived in SA for most of his life, I kinda don't get this name. SA isn't usually reffered to as "Alamo City" like others like Chicago with "Windy City" or Portland with "Rose City". The Alamo is a rather single event that the city is known for. And in SA, there really isn't a lot of exciting stuff to replace it with. I would've gone with the SA Lone Stars, that's what I voted for, as that really signifies the Alamo theme the best, as it was a stand to help give Texas it's independence. Names and nitpicks aside, I'm looking forward to this project. I'm a huge football fan, and since I've signed up here I've seen some great football series. Yeah my entry was Alamo FC, partially because of the fact San Antonio isn't referred to as that and partially because I didn't want an overkill of "City" monikers. Great point. If I were ThePeam, I'd reserve those titles for a few select teams that get referred to by that name on a frequent basis. "Alamo City" just isn't associated enough with SA for me to be cool with it. It's a bit of a stretch if you ask me. And it's not like you're short of half-decent names there either.

  7. As a guy who probably lives about 30 minutes away from the Scorpions, hometown approved. Your series has been nothing less than stellar, raysox, even though I've lurked a good bit through most of it. The amount of effort, thought, and overall soccer knowledge and the back stories put into these are nothing less than stellar. This is probably the best thread I've seen on the concepts forum since I've signed up. Spectacular work.
  8. I must say, I hate being late to the party but this series was and is fantastic, some of my personal favorites are: Southie, Albuquerque 76, Arizona United, San Antonio, and Chicago North.
  9. Well honestly, I've been trying to do a good bit of lurking before posting, that's how people like DScruggy get hated so much, they don't think before they post, I've tried to do that and it appears I may have jumped the gun a bit. I thought the post was kinda funny, I apologize if nominating something for PotD is something you should wait for a seasoned poster to do or what not. But if there weren't any nominations for PotD then you couldn't award one, nominating is just keeping the democrazy running, kind of like voting for president in a matter or so. Even if the post (in the eyes of the community) didn't find it funny. I'm sorry if I've caused any trouble here.
  10. It's the NFL's version of Game of Thrones. Hopefully without all the dicks. You know you don't have to post every single thought you have, right? I actually thought it was very funny. Would it be frowned upon if I nommed that for PotD.
  11. I must say, after reading through 60+ pages as a lurker, your artwork was so good it forced me to make an account an post about these. About 90% (everyone has their nitpicks) of these are drop-dead fantastic. These are all excellent work.
