  1. Thoughts? Old: New: Articles: http://www.adweek.com/brand-marketing/rotten-tomatoes-rolls-out-a-fresh-logo-and-visual-identity-after-19-years/ https://www.designweek.co.uk/issues/5-11-march-2018/emily-oberman-gives-rotten-tomatoes-first-rebrand-17-years/
  2. The bane of our existence, Stubhub, has a new logo. Thoughts? Old: New:
  3. Just saw this article posted on FanSided a little while ago, and I thought the people of this board might find it interesting. I personally would have liked to have seen my Mets a bit higher than 11, but not too bad. Overall thoughts? http://fansided.com/2015/06/12/mlb-major-league-baseball-uniform-power-rankings/
  4. The stripes ruin it for me. I'll have to see it in person but my initial impression is that they cheapen the overall look.
  5. Agreed. If you could find a way to incorporate a small amount of orange into the home kit I think you'd have a 100% winner. Maybe the away jerseys won't be so bad =/
  6. So this doesn't really count because it didn't actually happen. But I remember watching the World Cup Final this year, and being in disbelief that if Messi had gotten his World Cup victory, he'd do it wearing this kit. Argentina is obviously famous for their white and sky blue striped shirt, and that's what the pictures of him and the rest of the team should show for such a moment. Alas it didn't matter lol
  7. Speaking of, any idea when we might see jerseys with 4 stars, but without the champions patch? I have no idea what the timeframe is for a change like that to be made, maybe you can give some insight on what Spain did in 2010. Is it the kind of thing where in a week we'll start seeing standard German jerseys with 4 stars, or do we need to wait a year or two until the next jersey redesign?
  8. PayPal recently updated their logo. Really not a fan of this one, it looks so incomplete.
  9. Not sure if this is what you were referring to at all, but I also noticed that if you turn the logo upside down, the orange portion of it makes the letter "F" instead. It has perfect symmetry. I don't know if it was intentional, but it seems too perfect not to be.
  10. Fandango recently updated their logo and workmark. I personally think it's a nice clean update that keeps the spirit of the old logo. Thoughts? Old: New:
  11. Thanks for the personal anecdote, it definitely puts my mind more at ease
  12. Mods, please move this thread if I have posted it in the wrong place. I'm a huge Mets fan, and a huge fan of David Wright. Since he's basically guaranteed to play most of if not all of his career with the Mets, and be arguably one of their greatest players, I thought it was time I owned a real nice piece of Mets memorabilia. For quite some time now, I've had my eye on an autographed Mets helmet from Steiner sports, but I've been held back from pulling the trigger because I'm worried about the signature fading. It's a blue Mets helmet, and the signature is on the lid in silver Sharpie. I was wondering if anyone had any information on how to protect the signature, and how long it will last under proper care. I know there are some obvious things, such as having it in a nice case and keeping it away from direct sunlight. However, I'm not buying this helmet to keep it boxed up in a closet - I want this thing to be displayed. I would love to know that my purchase will guarantee me a signature that will last for many years, preferably the rest of my life. Would really appreciate any tips/experiences anyone could share, thanks!
  13. It does indeed seem like a very dark navy. It seems like they might have gone for a compromise. And no nothing stated the change, but all the graphics in the press release were very clearly changed from what they were before. You can see more of the changes in the logos on this page, which previously had the navy logo: http://www.stjohns.edu/about/marcom/imagestudy.stj
