Teams should always be wearing their best look. If a throwback is their best look, then they should wear that. If it's not, then they shouldnt be wearing it.

I mean, that famous painting has the Rams in matte pants. Generally speaking, the shiny pants look better to me. Just like how i prefer x over y on anything. Just like how shiny helmets are better than the matte ones in baseball too.

I'm a F1 fan and cant stand nascar. Street races arent going to suddenly make me start watching NASCAR. There's nothing that's going to make me think that seeing normal looking sedans(I know they're souped up underneath) racing is going to be anything besides look weird and unnatural and interesting at all. Bills look best when they look like what France would look like if they played american football. Blue jerseys, white pants, red socks at home. White jerseys, blue pants, and white socks on the road. Now that the one helmet rule is gone, I don't care about white vs red because you can do standing buffalo throwbacks.

Going to followup on my above post. I made these on 2k19 (you know, back when it was 2018 haha) and i think it's realistic for how the NBA is going to look in 5-10 or 10-15 years.

Have a team designate a primary jersey and the clash. HOWEVER Make it like rugby. If there is an issue, the home team needs to change. Yes, you are giving up the home team as a primary choice(as i do admit, should be in most cases) for the tradeoff of easy logistics

it's also, as @MJWalker45 said, just how it's done. In NPB, Japanese teams use romaji for player names and team names on their jerseys. My own Yokohama DeNA Baystars have the front script in the romaji and player names also using romaji. It's also found in Japan on roadsides and the such, so it's not exactly uncommon. It's also worth mentioning that the names ARE in Japanese, just written using latin alphabet(aka romaji)

Wait, they started selling them? Last I was there(end of dec), it was only avaliable for at home application if you bought an adidas jersey there.

I know the construction of the Jays jersey posted at the time was single layer, with the white being a gap but visually it's a two colour script and wouldn't apply. The script now, on the 2012-Current jerseys, is also white twill on top of blue twill becoming a physical and visual two(or three in the case of the road) layer and colour script.

Generally speaking, soccer teams play once a week. This can be expanded to two games a week, but never more than that.

Why in the world would a rival company help another rival company? You dont see pepsi propping up coke. They're rivals. Competing for the same dollar. Just like any sports team and league, even in the same city, are rivals competing for the same finite resource of money. I spent money on FC Köln gear. That money means I cant upgrade my computer or book a flight or buy blue jays stuff. Because it's gone. Point being? They're not going to do something that hurts them because again, rivals. So it's a nonstarter.
