My alma mater released this today. It was designed in-house, and I cannot imagine a more bland and unimaginative cougar logo.
This is what it replaced, and while very bad, the Siue word mark was much better than its replacement.

The Braves City Connect is fine, but flying so close to a uniform set that is still occasionally worn feels lazy. Special series uniforms sound fun in theory, but the NBA, NHL, and MLB have shown that they are underwhelming as a whole. The idea has gone stale incredibly fast.

I'm not one to over-analyze promotional tweets for clues, but here I go anyway: Lots of white in this tweet.
Let’s hope not. -
St. Louis is unveiling what they are calling their “Away Kit” on February 17th. The email also said they will be wearing this kit in their season opening match at Austin.

This photo makes it look like a normal Astros hat got left on a dashboard in the Texas sun
the only thing about this hat that ticks me off is it proves someone knows how to give an Astros hat the appropriate squatchee. Now if they could do the same for the orange brimmed hat… -
I swear New Era does not know how to stay out of their own way. White paneled hats are going to clash badly with a lot of teams’ on-field gear. On the bright side, I’ll be saving money again this year avoiding bad looking hats.

I figured they were gonna do that.
It needs navy shorts for contrast. (Shoot, I'd have maybe even gone for navy socks as well, just so the
pinkred shirts would stand out more.) And I'm still not too hot on that yellow trim...
I agree on the shorts.- 1

The Angels' 50th anniversary caps were pretty awesome with the gold halo (and it looked good on the jersey too).
My wishlist for the Angels, which echoes many on here:
Change the halo to gold
Have one sleeve patch that is neither the roundel nor just the hat logo (the LAFC or Angel City FC logos seemingly provide good inspiration for a new alternate for the Halos)
Have a navy blue Friday (or Sunday) alt cap
Maybe something will happen next year with new ownership.
I’ve always thought this would be a great sleeve patch:- 25

I ing hate the cherry blossoms! Easily THE most overrated tourist attraction in DC. And within the last year the Wizards, Nationals and now DC United found it necessary to make uniforms honoring those things. Such BS
DC United have embraced them in the past with a cherry blossom scarf

On the topic of simpler logos, this logo is already being used at CITYPARK. Hopefully this is the uniform badge in 2-3 years.
I understand people thinking Houston should just use the interlocking HD on their uniform, but I think the hexagon with a lightening bolt would be unique.

The cream alt looks out of place. If you told me it was their City Connect, I’d be ok with it.

I like the hidden trophies and how it is personalized to each player’s total with the team.

Jostens hasnt gotten to make a Super Bowl Ring since the 2019 football season when they made the Chiefs Ring. 2 years in a row they have lost out to Jason to do the Super Bowl Ring. Jostens will most likely not get to make the new Golden State Ring this year so I guess Jason should be taken serious in the Championship Ring game. His rings clearly has gotten a lot better since the early days when he first made the Lakers rings that I wasnt really a big fan of but his rings as of late are pretty Big but the sides of the rings are a bit off as the Rams and Tampa Bay sides were very similar.
Jostens still got the Braves World Series ring. At least Jason did better on the proportions with the Rams ring. The Bucs logo and Lombardi trophies were too small in comparison with the size of the ring. -

The Padres got what the Angels should have had.

I know their usual cap is blue but when red is in the team name, and the special event caps are red or blue, I think the cap should be red.

The Angels uniform is a disappointment. I was hoping they would lean into California surf culture with a really colorful design.

Cardinals have not used their light blue jerseys this season?
have they retired them?
Supply chain issues. The Saturday home uniform was used for the first time this season, yesterday. I’d expect the Saturday blue road uniform during the next Saturday road game.- 1

Am I missing some context? I mean, first, how many players actually wear championship rings outside of special functions anyway? Most people just put them in display case or safe. Second, "participation trophy"? Isn't winning the AL the same as winning the AFC or something? What am I missing?
Yes, most players won’t wear their ring in public regardless. They’re really big and can’t be comfortable to wear. While I understand @Cujo’s view on “2nd Place Rings,” MLB and the NFL have a long history of giving out rings to the championship runner up since the American League and National League once operated independently of each other as so did the NFL and AFL. To each their own. I’m still interested in seeing what gets released.- 1
