So I was thinking this too but going back looking at the first road trip of the year, it looks like it’s in players lockers.

I would not be mad if this is the case. Still disappointed in the change, the grey piping for a road top to match the pants was a nice touch. 

 

 

I wonder if they "sent" it back to get the shade darker. I noticed during Spring Training that it was much lighter than the Twins jersey.

I also wonder if Nike somehow dropped the ball and used the color palette from pre-2017 and that's why the navy jersey and the current outline on the home and away jerseys are so much lighter.

The Mississippi Braves still use the pre-2016 Braves script. You can tell by the shape of the A and where the placket break is.

Braves belt loops are keeping the piping after all. I have to wonder if the team had to get Nike to add it because the road pants still don't have it.

I found some better photos and it looks like they have swapped everything that was gray for red (including placket piping). I kinda liked the gray trim on the road jersey, but this looks good, too. While the gray looked good, it didn’t quite make sense since it was a single braid of trim and they wore it with their standard gray pants which have a blue/red/blue stripe. This red stripe jersey now matches the pants stripe pattern, so I call it either a push or even a slight upgrade. I don't know if it's just me, but that shade of navy looks a bit lighter than the previous jersey.

It's hard to tell, but the Braves made have tweaked their away alternate. This jersey doesn't have placket piping and the sleeve piping is red. The current(?) has silver piping.

This might be a Spring Training only jersey but it's new either way, and I thought Nike was doing away with Spring Training jerseys.

Looks like the Braves have another uniform casualty thanks to streamlining: this time it's beltloop piping

What about teams that use 1 layer of piping around the sleeve? Do they also have to move them to the cuffs? This all feels so unnecessary on Nike's part.

Looks like the Phillies red jersey is dead. 

I think 2024 is the year Nike finally changes the jersey material (probably not for the better). Almost every jersey (authentic and replica) is on sale right now. 

Unfortunately (and unsurprisingly), Nike is jacking up the prices. The Nike Vapor Limited Rangers WS Jersey is $40 more than the current replica price.

I found out that Chipper Jones wore a double flap helmet in a regular season MLB game while wearing #16, which he only wore for 8 games in 1993. 

The funniest thing is that the helmet belonged to Ramón Caraballo, who didn't get a single PA with the Braves. 

It seems that Braves fans, at least, are struggling to understand what counts to the four uniforms. They also don't know that the cream uniform was dropped last season to get down to four uniforms.

Oh wow these are bad. I like how the road pinstripes look (being a little more subtle than the old road pinstripes) but like everything else is not hitting.

A few Braves relievers have started to break out the stirrups. I've been a Braves fan since 2003 and I can't remember the last Brave to wear them.

A-Gon was DFA'd the moment the trade went through. He will never wear this uniform.
