Week 15 Monday Night Football has changed from Chiefs-Patriots to Eagles-Seahawks.
I don't think I've ever seen a MNF game flexed; I thought they couldn't do it if the days were different.
I think the flexing of MNF was started in 2023. You can read more here
https://www.nfl.com/schedules/flexible-scheduling-procedures
Quote- For Sunday Night Football, it may be used up to three times between Weeks 5-14, and at the NFL's discretion during Weeks 15-17;
- For Monday Night Football it may be used at the NFL's discretion in Weeks 12-17;
- For Thursday Night Football it may be used up to twice between Weeks 13-17.
- During the Flex Scheduling Windows, the games initially scheduled for Sunday Night Football (on NBC), Monday Night Football (ESPN or ABC), and Thursday Night Football (on Amazon Prime) are tentatively scheduled and subject to change;
- Only Sunday afternoon games (or those listed as TBD) are eligible to be moved to Sunday night, Monday night, or Thursday night, in which case the initially scheduled Sunday, Monday, or Thursday night game would be moved to Sunday afternoon;
- Sunday afternoon games may also be moved between 1:00 p.m. and 4:05 p.m. or 4:25 p.m. ET.

Not going to happen- the Seahawks have worn that throwback twice already and wore their puke green alternates for Thanksgiving, so they have no alternate slots left.
OP said next season, not next week.

Even geographically, it doesn’t make sense that they would exclude New Orleans in the merger.
In that case, maybe it was a logistical measure that caused it, like obtaining a venue lease in time for March 2024.

Meanwhile Northwestern goes from 1 win to 7 and nobody bats an eye (and yes I get it’s because they don’t have the most famous coach to ever live)
Same with South Florida. 1 win in 2022 (4 wins in the previous three seasons) under Jeff Scott to 6 wins and a bowl under Coach Golesh.

Exactly. It's more then likely they'll have to play SMU in the American Championship Game next weekend and if they falter, then either Toledo or Liberty could jump them and be the Group of Five rep in the New Year's Six.
SMU could hop them too. There's talk that if a Texas-SMU Cotton Bowl is possible, you might see that happen.

So, the mighty Green Wave is one win away from back-to-back New Year's Six games!
Reel that in a bit, they still have the conference championship game next week.

Anyone knows if jerseys with ads sold well last year ?
Hard to get that info, as I believe only the team operated stores at the venue were able to sell them.

It's not about making a tradition, it's all about aesthetics. Cardinals vs Chiefs feels like a Thanksgiving game in a way that Titans vs Chargers does not
These aesthetics?
Heck, even Detroit wore their gray alts in 2022

The change in material is pretty dramatic imo. The colors looked so washed out.
That might be the lighting, I'll reserve judgment until gameday

I don't like how the evening game never has the same Thanksgiving vibe as the Cowboys & Lions games. I think the Cardinals are the only team on the west coast that fits and wouldn't mind them hosting every year.
The evening game should always be open for any team, as it has been. You can't force a tradition like the Lions or Cowboys have done and expect it to stick.

South Florida releases a new alternate for tonight’s game against Maine
The South Florida women’s team also released one recently

The Mothership shared this about Vegas and their WC jerseys. Knowing ownerships connections to West Point, this would make sense.

I agree with this. Just the penguin's face (a la the cartoon Oriole) or the "R" logo would make for a stronger cap logo.The R would work for maybe an alt cap, but this era of MiLB is strong with non-letter centric caps to open the appeal for branding in youth leagues, merchandising and sales nationwide.

I'd love the idea if Adidas used this creative idea for the NHL All-Star Games in the future.Except that Adidas is in the final season of their contract with the NHL and it was not renewed.

Have Carolina, Maryland and California announced actual venues?
Based on those colors, safe to assume Maryland plays somewhere around the U of Maryland and Carolina in Raleigh?

Can someone tell me why the Cowboys keep wearing the French flag as their helmet stripe once a season? Is there some connection there from the franchise or something?
38 minutes ago, ruttep said:They did in 1976 for America's bicentennial. The only reason they do it nowadays is because they think they're "aMeRiCa'S tEaM"
It was Veterans Day this weekend, so the use of the bicentennial stripe this weekend fits. Here's a pick from 1976

That's where the Raiders grass enters and exits, they really don't need these stands given attendance which is why they leave that way.
Ah, thats right the retractible grass.

Tampa Bay, really? That's very much a shoulder patch logo and nothing more to me.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'd want the Lightning shoulder patch on the front of a jersey. It would be too much like this flop

Hello mods! Hopefully this is not a request that has already been addressed somewhere else: Would it be possible to simply merge 2023 NFL Season week by week uniform match-up combos: From HOF Game to Super Bowl LVIII and NFL 2023 Changes and call it something like "NFL 2023 Season Discussion" or something similar? While having two threads isn't necessarily harming anything, most of the discussion is happening in the week by week matchup thread (at least of late) and as a result, the differentiation doesn't seem necessary anymore. If I recall correctly, the matchup thread was originally started so that the matchups could be posted each week, and members could discuss updates, etc. strictly related to what teams were wearing that week. And then the "main" thread was for all the rest of the discussion about the given season. Now, it just seems like each thread has roughly the same topics (or at least the same subject coverage), but canzman posts the matchups in the matchup thread. Otherwise, there doesn't appear to be a thematic difference anymore. (I feel like I even remember seeing members post stuff along the lines of "I can't remember if it was said in this thread or the other one, but..." indicating ambiguity in where it is appropriate to put a particular post/topic.) As such, would it be possible to just merge the two?
I posted this a few weeks ago in one of the threads:

Per The GUID, black jerseys have not been worn yet. The only remaining opportunities would be this week, Christmas Day vs NYG or New Years Eve vs ARZ.
