The alternate helmet can’t be worn with regular home and road unis.

The Panthers designated their all black uniform as the alternate last year to use the black helmet, so its possible.

If those are the colours, then the teal needs to be brighter, the navy darker, or both. Right now the two colours have a Luminescence value too close, and it doesn't really pop.

He said these were reproductions of what he saw, so color might not be exactly 100%

Of course......... it's just that i don't understand why the team is moving.

So they have no fans in the stands, of course not, all the good players are  always traded.

So why would people show up to see the same team, just in another city?

    😵‍💫

Where can i find the answer for that?

    Probably best to check here

Buccaneers posted this on social media. I never knew that was the original design. Shoulder loops/stripes. Could this be the “like you’ve never seen” that Lavonte David was talking about?

Oh crap, this might be a real possibility.  I have never seen those prototypes before, but it definitely checks out with Lavonte David's comments.

I could be wrong, but I feel like the 2010's throwback creamcicles were softer looking.

I think it's because the mesh fabric was low sheen compared to the dazzle fabric of the 90's.

While it's obvious that we would see an even softer version of the orange jersey with the current Nike fabric, however, if the Bucs were rolling with the white over orange uniform, we'll see a much different look given the big shift in pants fabric.

I have a Mike Alstott throwback that they sold around 2010 and the shade of orange is definitely softer/pastel like the orange was in the Bucs early days.  The local beat writer confirmed the orange did change in the late 80s/early 90s.

Oh I don’t think that’s the likely outcome either. If I were in Vegas and in a position to put money on it I’d say they’re heading to Vegas Ballpark for a few seasons.

You can find more info here, but Sacramento is in play because of the media market.

But in terms of media revenues, the A’s are in the middle of the pack, thanks to a $53 million deal with NBC Sports California in 2022. Could the A’s receive that sort of money on a Vegas TV rights deal? Currently the Vegas media world is topsy-turvy. The NHL’s Vegas Golden Knights signed a deal earlier this month with Scripps Sports to locally broadcast Golden Knights games for free to residents of Nevada and surrounding states within the team’s broadcast territory. Scripps will air Golden Knights games on its local station KMCC-TV channel 34, which will be rebranded as an independent station before the 2023-24 NHL season begins. Scripps and the Knights will partner on a direct-to-consumer streaming option as part of this partnership.

Staying in Sacramento–at least for two years–would keep the A’s in a much larger media market–Sacramento/Stockton (#20 market in the United States) vs. what will be the smallest media market, #40 nationally, in MLB. The Knights were forced into a play with a Scripps startup because AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain regional sports network, which served Las Vegas, is reportedly shutting down at the end of the MLB season, leaving a local void in Vegas.

Alright, we get it. Who are you moving to the West to make room for the Nordiques in the East? News flash: it's not going to be Detroit or Columbus.

    I'll wait.

Just get rid of conferences and have 4 8-team divisions.  I know it was a pandemic precaution, but the Final 4 playing 1v4 and 2v3 really wasn't that bad.

If you judge relocation based off of teams preference of what conference you're in, then you have a bigger problem.  I get the issue that Detroit and Columbus may have, but do you think it makes sense to have TB  and Florida in a division with the furthest north teams (BOS, MON, TOR, OTT, BUF, DET)?  Ideally Tampa Bay would be with Carolina, Nashville, Washington among others.

They did it once back in 2019 with the Red Sox and Yankees. It has been postponed the last 3 seasons due to COVID and other stuff. I'm not sure if it's meant to be a yearly thing though.

Sounds like theres an agreement to play in 2023, 2024 and 2026.

Perfect chance to make Citronauts primary and they didn't do it 😭

    Because they're not the Citronauts???

Yeah, it was an older identity but changing the tradition of a mascot the university has had for over 50 years to something quirky that was used for less than 10 years is a bit extreme.

Minor news- Saints and Bucs in legal dispute over use of “Krewe”. Seems like more of a New Orleans thing IMO.

Tampa has had the Gasparilla parade in town since 1904 and krewes are part of the local community.  Hardly just a Mardi Gras thing.
