Also has anyone noticed that teams don’t fill in their end zones all the way anymore? There’s always a visible patch of green between the colored paint and the white paint and it’s annoying to see. I get why teams like the Rams and Chargers, and the Giants and Jets do it because they share the field and swap back and forth between the end zone paint. But even the MetLife teams didn’t do it until this season. And the rams and chargers had full endzone paint in 2020. Even in the London games this year they didn’t fill in the endzone paint.
Teams like Houston and Denver should have no excuse though.
just fill it in all the way
anyone know if there’s a new rule about endzone paint
I wondered about that too. Cowboys is still all blue. I know it's odd, but maybe its something to do with needing white on green for calls by the referees?

Geography doesn't matter if Seattle gets more people in the seats at Lumen than Pittsburgh can get in Acrisure or even Highmark or Duquesne. We have to stop treating air travel like we're still in the 1950's. With cheaper airlines, and proper planning for discount seats and hotels fans can make the trip directly from most airports now.
I don’t think the league would worry about fan travel when having teams in outlying locations, but more for the logistics of team travel. Charter flights are expensive, especially for the longer ones.

Seattle and DC not making the cut would be pretty crap.
I understand that Seattle had the fanbase, but geographically Seattle is an outlier.

Bucs in all white a little later in the season than is the norm.
I was honestly looking at the Bucs remaining home schedole on Gridiron Uniform Database and out of the rest of the home games we have Tennessee, Carolina, Jacksonville, and New Orleans.
- Carolina has already announced the blue jersey for the game in Tampa, so thats another white at home.
- The pewter alts are likely to still be worn once. I suspect it might be against Jacksonville or Tennessee as the pewter alts haven't been used in divisional games yet.
- Just my feelings, but seeing the Bucs and Jags go red v teal on Christmas Eve would be interesting, but unlikely.
- Bucs might go red against New Orleans so the Saints bring out their white Color Rush

Is this Pitt's first alternate helmet since they switched to the brighter colors full time?

Pitt wore this uniform twice in 2020. Once against Louisville and later against Notre Dame.

South Florida is bringing out arguably their best look on the road at UConn this week.

The Tampa Bay @ Buffalo game last night was pretty sparse too. The announced attendance was 12598.

#6 Diamondbacks

#4 Phillies
The Astros have a clear path to the 2023 Piece of Metal.
The Astros and Rangers could easily have been flipped, since that division wasnt decided until the final day.

Keep the Roughnecks in Houston, move the Gamblers to Las Vegas, trash the Vipers
There's nowhere to play in Vegas. Cashman sucked, Allegiant is a nonstarter, and Sam Boyd cannot host football due to UNLV's deal with the Raiders at Allegiant.

South Florida is bringing out the retro logo for homecoming this week! I’d prefer green pants too, but the helmet is perfect.

This is what Atlanta does. The Dream used to play at FKA Philips Arena, and then at Georgia Tech's McCamish Pavilion, and now they play at the Gateway Center Arena where the College Park Skyhawks also play. It's only a 3,500-seat venue for basketball, so I imagine they get a decent crowd for home games.
I think Washington shares with the G League team as well.

Good. We could always use more vibrant colors in the NHL. Black, tan, and orange is such a boring color scheme.
Orange isnt vibrant?

At some point, you have to beat the other good teams. Re-seeding is just another thing to grouse about, IMO.
I would much rather see the potential matchup between the two best teams be held until the conference/league finals, to earn a chance for the finals.

Why doesn't MLB reseed?
Like, shouldn't it be Dodgers/Phillies and Braves/DBacks?
I feel like the MLB will eventually reseed after the Wild Card round sometime. It just makes more sense.

So I'm guessing Minnesota gets moved to the East? (Like, perhaps, the Timberwolves should)
Dallas is closer to Phoenix and other West teams than the Lynx are, who are closer to Chicago, Indiana, etc.
At least for now that would make sense. If Portland also joins, Dallas could move East too

I have read that the issue with Mexico City is that the elevation is much higher than Denver and that the players might prefer Monterrey over Mexico City.
I also have seen Monterrey as the likely candidate if the time comes.

Golden State for 2025, Portland finalizing details and likely to be soon as well.

Selfishly, I'd like to see what a navy blue version of this jersey would look like as an alternate. (not mesh)

I wonder if moving Army Navy to Week Zero and making it a conference game would work...

Another red and blue team. Unbelievable.
As others has said, it will probably be orange and black. This was the Firebirds look in the 90s
Even if it was red and blue, the Firebirds brand belongs in the AFL.

Per local Tampa Bay sports radio, Rays are wearing the throwbacks today against Texas.
Edit: The Rays have confirmed this officially as well

Man, if I wasn’t already sick of the Chiefs before, I sure am now with all of this Taylor Swift stuff. That’s legit the very last thing I want my football coverage inundated with. It’s straight up creepy to me that people care so much about this.
She goes on the international leg of her tour the beginning of November, so maybe another month of possible seeing her at Chiefs games.

As a fan of one of the little guys (ie. midsize/small market), it's nice to see new blood in the World Series. I don't care about rating for TV broadcasts, I'm a sports fan.
