There's nowhere to play in Vegas.  Cashman sucked, Allegiant is a nonstarter, and Sam Boyd cannot host football due to UNLV's deal with the Raiders at Allegiant.

South Florida is bringing out the retro logo for homecoming this week! I’d prefer green pants too, but the helmet is perfect.

I think Washington shares with the G League team as well.

Dallas is closer to Phoenix and other West teams than the Lynx are, who are closer to Chicago, Indiana, etc.

At least for now that would make sense.  If Portland also joins, Dallas could move East too

She goes on the international leg of her tour the beginning of November, so maybe another month of possible seeing her at Chiefs games.

The American is looking to bring in Army to the fold. The trick here is that Army-Navy would remain in it's regular slot, but the AAC championship would be played the week before. So, in theory, Army and Navy could play each other for a championship before playing each other for the Commander-In-Chief Trophy. 

 

The thought is that the traditional Army Navy game would be a nonconference matchup.  I think the American would not schedule Army and Navy during the regular season, but like you said there's a chance Army Navy could play in the conference championship the week prior.

South Florida going with an interesting choice for on the road against Navy (who I assume will have gold helmet and pants of their own)

I like it too, just pair the existing helmet with some modern retro uniforms that evoke the throwbacks and you have a winner.

I've also heard it called 'Cruise Ship logo" and "Toothpaste dolphin"

Clemson may have found a way out, which means FSU may not be far behind.

I can’t speak for the rest of the teams with increases, but the Rays did offer a select amount of $10 tickets (pre tax/fees) for all games.  That may have assisted in the increase in attendance

I know some teams aren't done with their home schedule so numbers will be more accurate year over year in a week, but this should be a decent baseline.  The top of the total attendance column doesn't change much.

For those who have completed their season.

- San Diego broke 3 million for 2023 and was just under 3 million in 2022. 

- Cincinnati broke 2 million in 2023, with a big increase of 642,540 total, just over 7900 per game

- Tampa Bay had an overall total increase of 312,174, just over 3800 more per game. 

- Miami was up 255,332, just over 3100 more per game.

- Pittsburgh was up 308,795, approx 3800 more per game.

- Texas was up 521,681, over 6400 more per game.

- Cubs up 158,369, over 1900 per game.

- Houston up 363,349, almost 4500 per game.

There were some drops so far

- Washington dropped by just under 2000 a game or 160,569 total.

- Dodgers down 24,329, about 300 per game.

Guy played at 5 levels of minor-league baseball this year (A, high A,, AA, AAA - his only year of MiLB), and starts off his major-league career with 6 straight sliders.

 

Had never even heard of this guy (Orion Kerkering) until the other day, but he's surpassed all of their other top prospects in less than a year.  1-2-3 inning for his debut.

Kerkering played college ball at South Florida and  I also saw him in Clearwater.  He's good.  

As for calling up guys, Rays called up Shane McClanahan for his MLB debut in the 2020 ALDS.
