Since you are now involved with The Gridiron Uniform Database, could you please let them know that their contact is deffective? I tried to contact them regarding some teams from the 2015 season that they have not put them to close-up yet, but when I tried to send my message, a 404 error was displayed. I would really appreciate that.

There's a full game of the 1988 NFC Divisional Playoff (Eagles vs. Bears) a.k.a. the Fog Bowl showing on YouTube. Something that can be a pretty good reference for this thread.

That second field; why did the Pittsburgh field workers put a Dolphins "wordmark" on the field at Three Rivers? A rather curious decision.

That's just fine. Besides it will give you chance to wait and see for certain teams to unveil more than one design on the same fields.

Real nice effects and colour tone for the dirt. Keep up the great work and I can't wait to see the new current fields for this year due to the fields with the NFL logo for Super Bowl 50.

Nice work on the textures however there's a "I" missing on the 26 above the design.

We might as well go for that, then. After all, Both Super Bowls they played then were only four years apart, eh?

Lokk between the 3:26 and 3:31 mark. It doesn't show completely but it's another step further that I am maybe right the first time. Like I said previously, the first link containing the picture of the wordmark in their stadium would be your biggest bet so far.

This one is shown in it's original 4:3 format. I still don't understand why they had to chop off horizentaly up and down the original 4:3 just to make it look 16:9 in other videos. Ridiculous.

I may have found sources that may be sufficient. Sorry that I could not paste these rather, but I was having a few troubles doing them. Anyway, in the first link you may have your idea of the Giants Wordmark on their stadium field during that time. Just reverse the red and blue colours and leave the white outline of course. The other link is probably not much, but it should give you a good idea of it. Good luck.

Also, you should be aware that there was no outline around the 'Skins logo in the helmet. Look through the video you posted and you'll notice at the 17:33 mark exactly what I'm talking about.

And of the field, let us not forget that memorable commercial in which these three words were said: "Thanks, "Mean" Joe!"
