  1. Clean up your edges and you're on your way to a really good concept. The thing I don't like is the gray. A blue jersey with stripes that are black and orange would look better IMO.
  2. These are all done really well. Bravo The only suggestion is that using a different looking font for each team would make the looks more unique and pop a little more. Other than that, like I said really well done.
  3. Terrible colours and jersey logos/jerseys but still glad they are back.
  4. I swear if another team uses yellow, black and white as their only colours besides the Bruins and Pens I am going to flip out. Thanks Las Vegas for using one of the least creative colour combos in the NHL.
  5. [sigh].....I want to hate them...with every fiber of my body.... But I can't....That being said. I don't really like them a whole lot. I think I just like that they're different. Since they're only being worn twice this year, then whatever. Would hate to see something like this become the norm....anywhere. Shush, Gary might hear you and make that happen and then we would all be screwed. He would make everybody wear bright coloured pants and parade around in them after he sticks advertisements on them and ships them off to Las Vegas and Toronto. Dear God what have I done? Made Gary's day because after he reads this he will ask his best friends at Reebok to start up the production line and then he will call up the marketing department to make sure nobody hears about it until the very last second and then they will plaster ads everywhere on the players skates, Jerseys and god knows where else.

  7. Flames Need to change their jerseys. Please Flames Please your Jerseys are Hideous.
  8. I am going to pitch an Idea first and talk about the design while I find a program to show them to you in the meantime this write up will be where I will design my final stage of the project this write up may take a while. Idea:The Calgary Board of Education is lacking money. They are in massive trouble and need a solution. One is to ask the government to stop funding private and catholic school boards in Calgary and direct it's funding to only the public school board that will likely never happen because of where the politicians and oil workers kids go in majority to school which are non-public educators sadly but what if it did? So my idea is to develop mega learning centers which will cost money a **** ton of money to build but could still happen if the government wanted to cut costs in the future as they only have to fund a certain program at each school and the schools will be environmentally cautious and will in my estimates support 2500 students. This of course is going to be hard as land for a project of this scale is hard to come by or is it. A massive demolition project which tears down old CBE Jr. and Sr. High schools and replaces them with the mega centers. While former Catholic and private schools either become elementary's or Jr. High's or off campus for high Schools. Preexisting CBE elementary schools will only go under renovation to add more windows and environmentally friendly systems. This will cost millions of dollars sometimes billions but we have enough money in YYC and if not we would look for sponsors like Bell, Shaw, etc. Good Idea? Any Questions? Write up will continue tomorrow. REST COMING SOON
  9. Thanks man, really calmed me down. Your right I shouldn't worry about, I just get easily worked up sometimes.
  10. The problem was he did see it. He had called it a goal but then the goaltender pulled it out of the net and for some reason the ref waved it off. The person who scored the waved off goal is a ref, in fact there are 3 refs on my team who have training and said it was complete bull that the call was reversed. I have reffed other sports for example basketball, soccer, etc. I know it is hard to ref and have good judgment. But refs are quite bias towards are team and several other teams from the north as they see us as scum even though we aren't. For example in a scrum in front of the net one of our guys gets punched and then gets back up and sizes up to the guy who hit him and gets a penalty for head contact. Sometimes refs do make good judgement calls. If your not disciplined your going to get penalized, but when there is no need for judgement and when a goal is clearly in and the ref calls it a goal and then listens to the other teams goaltender about how it wasn't in. It's not a judgement call it's bias, 100% bias against my team.
  11. I know they are volunteers. But I pay money to play hockey they don't, as someone who has refs on my team and has volunteered alot a little effort would be appreciated. Two years ago most refs still cared about reffing the game properly but now the volunteers only care about getting payed most of the time sadly. There are still good refs out there just not as much as there used to be. Your last comment was appreciated though I know most people wouldn't care some people would. Now I shall update the original post.If you have a problem with the officiating in your league, then I suggest you sign up for the course and become a ref.I will next year when I have more time. Had to focus on school more this year which prevented me from becoming a ref.
  12. He was in 2014 too. He has flashes of greatness, but I'm not sure he can hack it in the big leagues. Wasted draft pick, IMO. Still a better draft pick then Yakupov.
  13. I don't have time to write an essay on Hockey Calgary. I have a schedule.
