  1. I know many are beating on the whole "always a winning season" thing with Tomlin, but if that's going to be the standard for the Steelers now, then they really have fallen from their Super Bowl days. In fact, I don't think I see them winning another one with Tomlin ever again. They got everything they could out of his tenure. The Steelers usually don't fire people because their "philosophy" and "culture" have always been unquestioned, but maybe it's at the point where we can say that it's aged to where change is needed.
  2. The Lakers really want to be the first team to win the tournament. They sure are playing like it.
  3. New England vs. Pittsburgh Houston vs. NY Jets LA Rams vs. Baltimore Carolina vs. New Orleans Indianapolis vs. Cincinnati Tampa Bay vs. Atlanta Jacksonville vs. Cleveland Detroit vs. Chicago Seattle vs. San Francisco Minnesota vs. Las Vegas Denver vs. LA Chargers Buffalo vs. Kansas City Philadelphia vs. Dallas Green Bay vs. NY Giants Tennessee vs. Miami
  4. Week 15 Monday Night Football has changed from Chiefs-Patriots to Eagles-Seahawks. I don't think I've ever seen a MNF game flexed; I thought they couldn't do it if the days were different.
  5. As much of an eye-roll it is, that arrogant commissioner and Nick Saban were right. It wasn't realistic to leave the SEC out of the playoffs. The expanded field starting next year should fix some things, but I'm sure there will still be more things to complain about.
  6. I didn't even know they got rid of them. Personally, I thought they were too light to distinguish from their regular whites (the lighting of certain stadiums plays a factor in that). It almost felt pointless for them to even wear them. I think I would like the neon greens more if they were toned down in brightness. Also, maybe a little less yellowish. I do think they look best paired with their navy pants.
  7. The "Knight" part of the name feels forced... like they think a Vegas affiliation is all but imminent. The colors are cool though. The primary logo is a little too detailed for my liking, but the secondary ones aren't too bad.
  8. I thought that was just a rough concept logo at first, but apparently it's real. Why is only one of the three outline rings in gold? The name "Ballers" is also pretty underwhelming. Given all of that, plus the logo looking like a close ripoff, this really feels like a rushed attempt at giving the A's the finger.
  9. Seattle vs. Dallas Indianapolis vs. Tennessee Atlanta vs. NY Jets Detroit vs. New Orleans Denver vs. Houston LA Chargers vs. New England Arizona vs. Pittsburgh Miami vs. Washington Carolina vs. Tampa Bay San Francisco vs. Philadelphia Cleveland vs. LA Rams Kansas City vs. Green Bay Cincinnati vs. Jacksonville
  10. CBS is using the Eagles' throwback logo for their scorebug, just like how it was on NBC. Weird, it seems like Philadelphia has been the only team getting that treatment, as others have worn throwbacks, but have not had their throwback logos used by networks.
  11. What a year Arizona is having. They went completely under my radar before the start of the season.
  12. I've never been on board with Detroit and Dallas for Thanksgiving every year, but if they have to keep doing it, could they come up with better games? The constant NFC North and NFC East matchups are so stale.
  13. Green Bay vs. Detroit Washington vs. Dallas San Francisco vs. Seattle Miami vs. NY Jets Tampa Bay vs. Indianapolis New England vs. NY Giants Pittsburgh vs. Cincinnati Carolina vs. Tennessee Jacksonville vs. Houston New Orleans vs. Atlanta LA Rams vs. Arizona Cleveland vs. Denver Buffalo vs. Philadelphia Kansas City vs. Las Vegas Baltimore vs. LA Chargers Chicago vs. Minnesota
  14. I think being swept by the Giants of all teams, is a warrant for a firing.
  15. I know they're not any good this season, but there's something funny about Auburn losing to a subdivision team (New Mexico State) that they, like everyone in their conference, schedule in an attempt to get an extra win. Screw the ACC and SEC for doing that. Play nine conference games like everyone else.
  16. Burrow being hurt to start the season, along with starting 1-3 (0-2 in their division), really provided the sign that this was not the Bengals season to contend. How brutal. It might be best to just tank from here, getting a higher pick in the draft and a potentially easier schedule for next year.
  17. While I'm glad they decided on a single, consistent color scheme, I think I liked their logo package in sand rather than turquoise.
  18. Cincinnati vs. Baltimore Pittsburgh vs. Cleveland Las Vegas vs. Miami Chicago vs. Detroit Tennessee vs. Jacksonville LA Chargers vs. Green Bay Arizona vs. Houston Dallas vs. Carolina NY Giants vs. Washington Tampa Bay vs. San Francisco NY Jets vs. Buffalo Seattle vs. LA Rams Minnesota vs. Denver Philadelphia vs. Kansas City
  19. I admit to basing some of my picks on track records. This is true not just for the Ravens against the Browns, but also for the Cowboys against the Giants, the Packers against the Bears, etc.. Sometimes you just go with feeling, rather than thinking.
  20. Hey, first time at the top this season! Carolina vs. Chicago Indianapolis vs. New England Cleveland vs. Baltimore Green Bay vs. Pittsburgh San Francisco vs. Jacksonville New Orleans vs. Minnesota Houston vs. Cincinnati Tennessee vs. Tampa Bay Detroit vs. LA Chargers Atlanta vs. Arizona NY Giants vs. Dallas Washington vs. Seattle NY Jets vs. Las Vegas Denver vs. Buffalo
  21. Too bad Fields hasn't been able to break the Ohio State NFL quarterback curse. Maybe Stroud can do it.
  22. If Buffalo can't win games they're supposed to, then I say it's a possibility. There isn't a lot of confidence in my statement, but I'll stand by it.
  23. I'm guessing you didn't fully read my quote so I'll just post it there again. One win against a single opponent doesn't define them. The Dolphins can still finish ahead of the Bills, even being swept.
  24. Yes because the Bills have been totally performing at a Super Bowl level in all their games so far this season, right? I'm going to say it: The Dolphins are going to lose to every Super Bowl contender on their schedule. This offense, like pretty much last season, is a facade and not sustainable. Fraudulent is a word I'd use, but as long as they can pat their record and stats until playoff time, I just don't really care. I went well over a decade seeing this team finish with no more than eight wins a season. I'll take a fraudulent team as long as they're relevant in the playoff picture.
  25. I loved that shade of Seahawks blue, but most of the time it was darkened by the environment they played in. This could've either been during rainy weather, inside domes with poor lighting, or during night games. It felt similar to the Eagles' midnight green back then, though Nike's material seems to improve on the brightness that Reebok lacked. Still, I just don't see Seattle returning to that color.
