  1. The logos have gotten worse after each new one. It's like they're trying too hard to make it abstract.
  2. It feels like the Orioles got the tougher end of the AL playoffs, even though they're the top seed. I know you have to eventually face tougher opponents as you advance, but this Rangers team looks dangerous. They could've been a top seed if they didn't choke it up.
  3. Chicago vs. Washington Jacksonville vs. Buffalo New Orleans vs. New England Tennessee vs. Indianapolis Baltimore vs. Pittsburgh Carolina vs. Detroit Houston vs. Atlanta NY Giants vs. Miami Cincinnati vs. Arizona Philadelphia vs. LA Rams NY Jets vs. Denver Kansas City vs. Minnesota Dallas vs. San Francisco Green Bay vs. Las Vegas
  4. I've mentioned before that I don't watch FNIA unless my team (Dolphins) is being featured (which is also rarely). I will add to this and say that I usually don't watch SNF games unless both teams featured generate my interest, or if it's my team. When I watched Miami play in their first SNF game in a while against the Steelers last year, it reminded me of how much of a toolbag Colinsworth is. I couldn't get enough of his constant "Never count out the Pittsburgh Steelers! This is what they do!" blabber. Like dude, STFU. I seriously contemplated putting the game on mute. The whole NFL on NBC coverage is just unbearable. I didn't watch the game last night, and like many Sunday nights, I didn't miss anything noteworthy.
  5. The Bengals looked bad. I don't know if Burrow will be healthy at any point this season, but coming back from 1-3 is a bit daunting, considering the division they have to play in. (I could probably be eating these words in a few weeks; that tends to happen)
  6. I thought the crest was a minor secondary logo at first. A little underwhelming, but it should be easy enough to use in merchandise and media applications. The colors are too bright. One of them has to be toned down more.
  7. Detroit vs. Green Bay Atlanta vs. Jacksonville LA Rams vs. Indianapolis Baltimore vs. Cleveland Minnesota vs. Carolina Cincinnati vs. Tennessee Tampa Bay vs. New Orleans Miami vs. Buffalo Denver vs. Chicago Washington vs. Philadelphia Pittsburgh vs. Houston Las Vegas vs. LA Chargers Arizona vs. San Francisco New England vs. Dallas Kansas City vs. NY Jets Seattle vs. NY Giants
  8. Caleb Williams is going to find it pretty difficult to avoid an "unfavorable" situation, given that he is a top projected pick and the worst teams right now are almost all pretty dysfunctional. It would be funny if say, the Bears, get the number one pick next year and he decides to avoid them... only for the same team to get the top pick the following year, right where he would be projected.
  9. Most points scored since the NFL merger I believe. Wild performance by Miami. Also, Russell Wilson should be kept out of the Hall of Fame, seriously.
  10. NY Giants vs. San Francisco Atlanta vs. Detroit LA Chargers vs. Minnesota New Orleans vs. Green Bay Houston vs. Jacksonville Denver vs. Miami Tennessee vs. Cleveland Buffalo vs. Washington Indianapolis vs. Baltimore New England vs. NY Jets Carolina vs. Seattle Chicago vs. Kansas City Dallas vs. Arizona Pittsburgh vs. Las Vegas Philadelphia vs. Tampa Bay *LA Rams vs. Cincinnati * - may have to change if Burrow is out...
  11. I was referring to Devin McCourty. I don't have FNIA on when my team isn't playing, so I don't know if he came in last year or not. It's the first time I've seen him. That NE defense is always so damn intense. I thought Miami was gonna get shut down in the second half again like in their SNF game against Pittsburgh last year. Two wins on the road is a great start, though. It initially looked to me that his knee came down before the football got past the hash line. Looking at the replays further, I can't say for certain though because the camera didn't provide a straight angle and I didn't have a good view of the football. Not the most climactic way to end a game (but it admittingly favored my team).
  12. Does NBC really need another New England Patriot on their crew?
  13. So these are just a one-time thing, both uniforms and logo? Sorry if it's been brought up before; I've just never seen a team unveil a whole new package, only for it to be used in just a single season.
  14. The whole name is a mouthful, but the logo package is pretty good. I really dig the H.
  15. Minnesota vs. Philadelphia Baltimore vs. Cincinnati Seattle vs. Detroit Indianapolis vs. Houston Chicago vs. Tampa Bay Kansas City vs. Jacksonville Green Bay vs. Atlanta Las Vegas vs. Buffalo LA Chargers vs. Tennessee San Francisco vs. LA Rams NY Giants vs. Arizona NY Jets vs. Dallas Washington vs. Denver Miami vs. New England New Orleans vs. Carolina Cleveland vs. Pittsburgh
  16. It's close to certain that we'll never see Mahomes against Rodgers. Funny how things keep happening to prevent that matchup.
  17. I haven't done this before, so I'll give it a try this time around. Detroit vs. Kansas City Cincinnati vs. Cleveland Houston vs. Baltimore Tampa Bay vs. Minnesota Carolina vs. Atlanta Arizona vs. Washington Jacksonville vs. Indianapolis San Francisco vs. Pittsburgh Tennessee vs. New Orleans Las Vegas vs. Denver Philadelphia vs. New England LA Rams vs. Seattle Miami vs. LA Chargers Green Bay vs. Chicago Dallas vs. NY Giants Buffalo vs. NY Jets
  18. Just adding that I don't even think they thought they had a shot at the postseason, which makes them buying at the trade deadline and now losing their only two best players, even more astounding. They are the AL Mets.
  19. The Bear head looks like an ineligible blob of mesh and should stay as a secondary. Chicago has used the wishbone C for such a significant period of time where it should be untouchable at this point. Dumb, dumb.
  20. As much as I want to say they are an upgrade from the previous set, I'm still convinced that the Suns will never find something that is better than the 90's sunburst. Also, given their history, I give them less than a decade before they come up with new uniforms again.
  21. It felt like roughly a decade ago, the Big 12 was the power conference with the murky future. How that has changed.
  22. It's rather funny because it's the Yankees, though it's also depressing because it's the Yankees. A reminder that nobody is safe.
  23. Pat Fitzgerald was fired from Northwestern. I guess the hazing allegations weren't made up.
  24. Competitive eating in general is rather gross, but when it comes to Chestnut and the sport league itself, I find it all uninteresting and predictable.
  25. Is Spire City really that prominently used within the Frederick area or is Brandoise just reaching for creativity again? I'm asking because I currently live about an hour away from there and have even visited the area on several occasions. Of all of these times, I have never seen a reference to the name.
