What they should be talking about is the Mets s******g the bed as usual, with the Padres moving on and meeting their destiny of losing to the rival Dodgers because LA > SD.

2022 NFL regular season through Super Bowl LVII

Watching Matthew Stafford is like watching Eli Manning. -
^ Heard that before; let's not get our hopes up. This was a good season for Baltimore, but history hasn't been very kind to them, even after 2014. If I was an O's fan, I would just relish in the fact that they were literally in the postseason hunt at some point (and finished with a winning record). Still, I'd like to see what next year can bring for them. There is reason for optimism.

The Dolphins have been a pretty scummy organization and I say this as someone that's rooted for them roughly two decades. From the coaching and medical staff botching Tua's concussions to the piece of s**t owner Stephen Ross and the allegations against him, it makes it easy to root beyond against this team. I'm at the point where I want Tua as the quarterback and still feel really bad for him. He's a guy that's never felt wanted by his franchise, with everybody pondering if he's "the guy" and Miami teasing all that Deshaun Watson and Tom Brady speculation during both the past season and offseason. Things start looking up for him and the Dolphins this season and then this happens. It just sucks; I want better for Tua. As a fan, it puts a sour taste in my mouth. -

3-0 is a pretty nice place to be. I'm just glad the Dolphins aren't getting swept (AGAIN) by Buffalo. I don't care if anyone is sold on Tua or not, I just really don't. He doesn't have to be frickin Mahomes. He's doing enough, with the biggest difference this time being that he has better weapons to throw to. That's all this fan can really ask for. -
Yikes. That isn't a good look. ASU football, or maybe the athletic program, have no clue what they're doing.

They were talking about next week's game in Miami "going to be a good one" and I'm just like, STFU Adam Schefter, just STFU. Tannehill was never a good QB. He was largely poor in Miami because they couldn't build around him. He was less largely poor in Tennessee because they had a better team around him, but he's still largely poor. Getting rid of AJ Brown was probably not the best decision either. -

I fully expected Miami to get blown out in that game because of their poor track record against the Ravens. Even with Lamar being the freak of nature he was, 6 TDs by Tua? WTF? I would be pretty elated if the Dolphins beat NE, BAL, and PIT in the same season. -
I can't believe they kept the orange in the logo. Ugh. I actually expected them to switch to the alternate shark logo they debuted a few years ago (the one with the brush teeth). A little relieved they didn't.

Not liking the O's chances at the postseason. Shame... I know they got rid of some of their better players midseason and weren't expected to be in the Wild Card race, but I was really yearning for them to do more than just finish with a winning record. Too much to ask I guess.

Both cities seem to have very good followings in the WNBA and after the NHL expansions into those cities, they have the resources to make it happen. I would be excited, especially if I'm in Seattle.
-
If they're dropping orange from the uniforms, then I can only assume it's gone from the logo as well.
-
Carolina should've never chosen red and black as their colors from Day 1. I don't know why they did (something about NC State?) but they had an opportunity to be different and create a standout identity. The color diversity in the NHL is too small.

2022 Little League Baseball Tournament, expanded to 20 teams

A region getting to have a bye for no apparent reason is not only stupid, but unfair. Hopefully they can do some adjustments to the bracket down the road. -
That's a bummer... because I would've actually like things (offseason and trades) to have worked out for San Diego. They won't even have their most notable star for pretty much the rest of the season. They're totally gonna get swept by LA in the NLDS and then the big offseason question will be around Soto. Disappointment is calling.

"Dark mode" usually means black, but alright. It's not like Miami hasn't used a black alt before so I really don't know what they think they can do to be any different.

Being neck and neck with the Cardinals going down the stretch will haunt the Brewers. Milwaukee needs to have at least a ten game lead ahead of them in the division in order to feel remotely safe. I know how this will play out.

I can't find a valid link for it, but I thought I remember seeing a stat of the Red Sox a while back, citing their tenure since 2003. I think it said they have spent the most money through payroll in the league since then, even more than the Yankees or Dodgers and I think I believe it. They've had a lot of star players play for them in the 2000's and 2010's, half of them performing well and the other being complete duds. It shows just how much money the team has had, but I think everyone knew that part. Still, it's a good summary of the team in the new millennia. Very up and down, but their money and spending at least made things happen for them. Four World Series titles out of all of it is pretty hard to argue against or complain about.

I didn't know he was with the Dodgers when they were still in Brooklyn. The fact that he left ship with them to LA shows how big his connection is with the franchise.

Ross is dumb. I feel like the Dolphins have a pretty good front office, but the owner just wants to meddle into things and do it his way... despite there being others that know far more about how a football team should be ran. It could be worse though... like being the owner, president, and general manager worse. *wink* -

Unlike the Steelers, I hope they partner with a local sponsor. Third party corporate stadium names tend to always suck, but I would think something that is close by and tolerated by the locals would be more accepted. It won't though because profit is key here, so it'll probably be named after some banking company based in Texas. -
I'd say Castillo is the best pitcher on the market, or at least the best one that was made available. It's a nice addition. I don't expect Seattle to do anything in the playoffs if they make it, but damn I hope they make it.
