  1. Rangers have no defense; giving up so many goals this series.
  2. I'm just trying to find an excuse, because I have no idea. I expected the Suns to be better than this.
  3. I'm assuming they're doing what the Warriors did and are just saving up their strength to close the series at home... (?)
  4. I can't believe the Dolphins got a SNF game; they never do! And it's during a week that likely won't be flexed out. Thanksgiving might end up being a dud. None of those games seem interesting, but partly because the Lions are trash and the Cowboys are fatiguing.
  5. I have to agree with this. Their identity is a modern classic... and being a consistent playoff contender for over half their existence has help their brand recognition. The only thing I would or could see them do is update the uniform template (moving away from the wishbone collar like the Lakers did).
  6. The Grizzlies were great this year, but they just aren't there yet. They might need an additional piece or two, but I think a little more experience would help them. Still, I can't believe how much of a contributor Morant is; New Orleans really missed out in the draft.
  7. I can't stop thinking of a clubfoot. French or not, change the name.
  8. Having little to no receiving core is also going to keep hurting the Ravens. They currently have Mark Andrews and that's pretty much it. Everyone knows they're going to just run the ball most of the time, so I guess offensive line help is the best you can do with that kind of offense in place. They aren't making it far in the playoffs doing that though.
  9. Never understood these. Based on the angle they are presented, are they suppose to mimic wings like with the Philadelphia Eagles? Also, Maryland's flag is and has always been rectangular... It shouldn't be in the shape of a swallowtail. Just my nitpick.
  10. I can't believe the Pirates are better than them. Shameful.
  11. Were they though? Because if they were, then they likely weren't the only team to feel that way. People thought Brooklyn was slumping throughout the season because of Durant's injuries and Irving being unavailable, but I'm assuming many were sweeping those concerns under the rug come playoff time because of them being at "full strength." They had high expectations and it was easy for people to overestimate them.
  12. I like Hunter Greene and think he has the potential to be a great player in this league. But let's be real, Cincy is going to get him ready for his prime, just so they'll eventually trade him to a larger market. I'm trying not to get attached to him because I know what's gonna happen. I mean, people from the northeast are notorious a**holes, from Boston to Washington. Source: I currently live in the northeast (and might subconsciously be one of them )
  13. I thought navy, gold, and green were a nice medium between the New Orleans origins and them finally picking and staying with a color scheme after changing so much. Who's to say they'll stick with this black and yellow? I've mentioned before that it would be nice to have a black and gold NBA team, but it really depends on how Utah utilizes it.
  14. I don't know how I feel about that. The gold panel sticks out like a sore thumb with the roads, as there is little gold present on the uniforms (outlines, piping). Weren't those caps intended to be worn with the navy alts? That would make more sense since they have enough gold to compliment the caps.
  15. Laker fan mentality: Thinking that everything will be okay because they'll totally get whoever they want in the next few years.... Because everyone wants to be in LA, right?
  16. I was actually a little surprised he said all of that. Usually the top brass tend to be quiet or blow smoke, but to actually call out the fans? Not a good look IMO.
  17. How is the brown gonna look when they make it for neon signs?
  18. I'm guessing it will say "Space City."
  19. We are constantly hearing about things when it comes to Snyder, but he's still in the owner's box. I can't really just assume that he will be gone based on that, because it's something that many people have been assuming for a while. I'm aware it takes time to do investigations, but he's been able to avoid being axed for a decade. This guy might actually be able to get away with murder.
  20. I remember when the Rams became the most forgettable team in the league after the GSOT era in St. Louis. Moving to Los Angeles, they immediately gain fame... and now mirror their local baseball team.
  21. The Nats were close to making this work, but the WSH abbreviation just throws it off. Still, it's one of the better City Connect uniforms I've seen. I might get a hat.
  22. The Orioles are the Pirates of the AL. I believe they care more about promotions and fan events (which tbf are nice to have), but consider building a roster to be secondary. They do have some good pieces in their farm system right now with Bowie, but who's to say they will be long-time Orioles? I can imagine being an O's fan is rough, especially when your team is in a division with two markets that tend to dominate in payroll. Then again, there are the Rays who are able to put talent on the field regularly... and I think they have less to work with (I don't know completely though).
