This just in: C.J. Stroud might be pretty good.
Too bad Fields hasn't been able to break the Ohio State NFL quarterback curse. Maybe Stroud can do it.

Should Miami continue to get obliterated by with more than 2 wins, they're not winning the East. Plain and simple.
If Buffalo can't win games they're supposed to, then I say it's a possibility. There isn't a lot of confidence in my statement, but I'll stand by it.

Yes because the Bills have been totally performing at a Super Bowl level in all their games so far this season, right?
I'm guessing you didn't fully read my quote so I'll just post it there again. One win against a single opponent doesn't define them. The Dolphins can still finish ahead of the Bills, even being swept.

Miami Dolphrauds.
The day they can compete vs a good team is the day I'll put them back in the Super Bowl conversation. Until then, the East belongs to Buffalo.

I'm going to say it: The Dolphins are going to lose to every Super Bowl contender on their schedule. This offense, like pretty much last season, is a facade and not sustainable. Fraudulent is a word I'd use, but as long as they can pat their record and stats until playoff time, I just don't really care. I went well over a decade seeing this team finish with no more than eight wins a season. I'll take a fraudulent team as long as they're relevant in the playoff picture.

I loved that shade of Seahawks blue, but most of the time it was darkened by the environment they played in. This could've either been during rainy weather, inside domes with poor lighting, or during night games. It felt similar to the Eagles' midnight green back then, though Nike's material seems to improve on the brightness that Reebok lacked. Still, I just don't see Seattle returning to that color.

Studio Simon with another clean refresh.
I don't think there has been one logo refresh they have botched in my most recent memory. Props to them on another fantastic update.

I was hoping the Phoenix area could get another title, but that will just have to wait.
Good for the Rangers. It's always cool to see that first title come around.

At least the Bears are limited to two primetime games this season (I'm not counting Thursday). The Raiders though have even more, with about five (two SNF, two MNF, Christmas Day). Were there offseason playoff aspirations for LV that I just overlooked?

The Bengals looked bad. I don't know if Burrow will be healthy at any point this season, but coming back from 1-3 is a bit daunting, considering the division they have to play in.
(I could probably be eating these words in a few weeks; that tends to happen)
Four weeks to be precise. I owe the Bengals an apology.

Is Utah's Cameron Rising out for the season or something? He still hasn't played since his injury last year.

Has a player actually missed a game the following week after getting a concussion? Did Tua after his head was essentially used as a basketball?
Outside of the one against the Bengals, he missed the next two and came back against the Steelers on SNF. His second concussion on Christmas pretty much ended his season.

The whole thing. I'm in Tucson and we hate going to Phoenix because of the heat.
There's a temperature difference between the two cities?

I was already surprised about Texas being here, but I can't believe Arizona is in it as well. That is just wild to me.
Both literally finished with over 100 losses two years ago!

At first I thought I was bombing this week, but then I remembered that everyone else picked nearly the same as me. 6-7 feels like a good W for me.

Weird that they used the Eagles throwback logo for SNF, but didn't for the Patriots several weeks ago.

A New York sports fan rooting for a team from rival Philadelphia. Your disdain for warm-weather cities makes no sense.

Also, if the Astros should be punished, the 2018 Red Sox should be too. No peep about them here at all.
Yeah, I've never understood why Boston has been kept in the dark. Weren't they accused of practically the same thing or am I missing some telling detail?

The NBA and NHL also do seeding that way. I guess earning the top seed isn't as desirable now since you could very well play the next best team before even getting to the conference/league championship.

Lamar Jackson is trash now. The Ravens bolster the receiving core in what feels like the first time ever for them and he still can't throw consistently. That 2019 season is long in the rearview mirror.

2023 NFL Weekly Picks Contest

I admit to basing some of my picks on track records. This is true not just for the Ravens against the Browns, but also for the Cowboys against the Giants, the Packers against the Bears, etc.. Sometimes you just go with feeling, rather than thinking.
