  1. I was worried they would rebrand as the Vegas Raiders to coincide with their new hockey neighbors. This just makes the Knights' name look even more stupid now.
  2. Eli's done. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28540028/sources-eli-manning-announce-retirement-friday-16-nfl-seasons
  3. The cursive script didn't and still wouldn't fit with the rest of their identity, but MAN I still love it. But why do they need two black alternates?
  4. Gotta give it to them... They were able to restrain themselves from giving the skunk a menacing grin.
  5. It hasn't been confirmed, but it's speculated to be blue and gold.
  6. For whatever reason, I've always kinda liked that Angels logo (the one with the halo hanging on the state).
  7. For some reason, I knew the highlighted color was gonna be orange. We might see something a little new in about a year or two. After they went with the chromed Lombardi trophy and host stadium in the early 2010's, they ditched the host stadium and added color to the base five years later. Since it's been about five with the current ones, that probably means they'll update the template again. The chromed Lombardi trophy will likely stay, but I'm expecting some new element to go along with it.
  8. This will be the first red-on-red Super Bowl in history. Both teams have great uniforms, but it's gonna suck if you're colorblind.
  9. And to think we could've had one-less dark blue flag with a seal.
  10. I associate the term "fire," with elements such as BFBS, GFGS, volt, chrome, and monochrome when someone describes a uniform nowadays. I'm not saying we might see some of those elements with Cleveland, but when someone uses that term, I can't but help feel a bit nervous.
  11. When is every team going to start "swapping" their primaries and secondaries?
  12. Alright, I'll be ignorant: What makes Andy Reid a scumbag? I don't follow the Chiefs and I've never cared about the Eagles enough to have knowledge on their past players/coaches. Is this about his deceased son?
  13. I think the point of the current logo is to look more abstract than realistic. I'm sure there's a way of cleaning it up, but greatly reducing it's claw size and taking away the red is not the way to go.
  14. I'm guessing this was in the works around the time of the new stadium opening. When new uniforms weren't announced during that time, I just assumed Blank was content with the Reebok uniforms. I can't imagine the logo changing too much.
  15. I'm hoping those Nats white alternates become so popular, the team decides to make them primary. (I'm dreaming I know) Those Padres unis still look sharp. I wonder how good a gold alternate would look if they decided to adopt one down the road. I think it would be great for day games in that California sun.
  16. And I still think the Rams made a mistake in passing on him.
  17. I'm not opposed to teams wearing white pants on the road if it ties into their history, but I do like it when they wear colored pants most of the time. It adds more color to the matchup and I personally find some fully white teams to be rather dull (Dolphins, currently).
  18. Isn't it pretty much a recruiting strategy when these big-time coaches go on air?
  19. The last few at least have some color variation. And even if that's not enough, we always have the alternate logos. I know they're still a little generic, but at least they have some differences. I personally like it when they appear on merchandise in the champion's colors.
  20. Teal and gold isn't a color scheme you see everyday. The logo is very high school-ish, but I don't hate it.
  21. Why exactly did it take three meetings to do it?
  22. I assumed it had something to do with the players tucking their sleeves in which cutoff part of the stripes, but from pictures of the throwbacks worn, they looked fine. Maybe it was to match the helmet stripe?
