Anyone know what the story was behind the  inconsistent presence of the NFL shield on the jersey collar of both the home and away 49ers jerseys during the 1994 season? Looking back at game photos of specific players, some games the shield was there, some games they weren’t. In the Super Bowl it looks like there was a mix of shield/no-shield jerseys.

That is a commonly spread myth around here. The Chicago Bulls and Portland Trail Blazers do not have a basketball in any of their logos, primary or alternate. The Bulls never had one (the court logo during the D-Rose years was never official) and the Blazers only had one with their rectangular logo set.

Makes me feel old seeing someone associate the Bulls old center court logo with the D-Rose years instead of the Jordan years.
