  1. This looks great! I do have a couple of suggestions: I would play with the eye design, as well as the size of the eye on the yellow jacket. I think a larger eye, with a more dominant pupil would look better (sort of a play on how Georgia Tech, Burlington, and Salt Lake designed their logos). I would also make the abdomen a little more symmetric (if that makes sense), and the hands with some more dimension (perhaps some grey like the wings and stinger).
  2. This is how it looks with just "Beto for Senate". I also separated the slogan and state from the rest of the graphic, for another option.
  3. Cleaned up the graphic a little and fixed the resolution issue. I'm still playing with the slogan - I might just do "Beto for Senate".
  4. I will play around with the phrasing of the slogan so it comes across better. I'm leaning towards "Vote Beto for Senate" or "Beto O'Rourke for Senate".
  5. Appreciate the feedback. The phrasing was based on his Congressional campaign slogans of "Run Beto Run" which I tried to incorporate into a more specific slogan based on this Senate race. However, I do see your point in how that comes off as confusing, or grammatically odd. Any suggestions on what I could put instead?
  6. Unsure why the graphic is posting at such a low resolution, so I'll be working to fix that, but in the meantime feel free to comment!!
  7. I finally decided to upload a concept to the site, so let's see how this goes! I was pretty excited when Beto O'Rourke announced that he was going to run for Texas' U.S. Senate seat, so I decided to put my built up energy into use and make a graphic/ poster (I will probably tinker with the dimensions, if I do use it as a poster) in support of his campaign. I wanted to theme the graphic around a Southwestern/Hispanic textile design which is reflective of O'Rourke's hometown and congressional district of El Paso, Texas. I based the color scheme further around this by including pastel versions of the colors typically associated with the West Texas town (Orange and Blue: UTEP and Yellow: El Paso flag). The center of the design reads "Run Beto for Senate" inside an 'abstract' representation of the State of Texas (I felt that something more geometric played better with the theme) coupled with a 'Lone Star' in West Texas. The font used for "Run" and "for Senate" is El Sancho Rancho, and "Beto" is sourced from his senate/congressional campaign logo. C&C are obviously welcome, but I'd rather it center around the design instead of politics
  8. The recent FIFA World Cup logos should be the model for any league (NFL, NHL, etc.) who wants to create unique designs within a template.
  9. Looks like we're finally getting a 'proper' Milan kit for the first time in a long time. [Footy Headlines]
  10. On second thought, it might just be the sponsor that trips me up. Having the stripe vertically running through the crest was my first thought in switching the position, but after seeing the 'real-life' example the stripe is probably better where it is.
  11. The Spain set is sooooo good - definitely my favorite so far. I like the idea of the black and white stripe for the MUFC home kit, but it's current placement seems out of place.
  12. I really like the addition of yellow, it actually adds a lot to the crest. However, I would consider adding white or (sky/light) blue shorts to the home set, other than that its pretty solid.
  13. Really disappointed with the lack of diversity with the color-ways. Royal blue, claret/maroon, and green would have been welcomed additions.
  14. I am shocked the Reds haven't actually done this. Would love to see more of these!
  15. Reminds me of Aston Villa's 2010-11 kits
  16. I actually like the symbolism of the design, but why would Dallas not make the entire shirt blue? It's not really a clash issue, considering the home is red.
  17. The Sabres really need to clean up their look, and I actually think this is a pretty solid run at that. I would maybe look at lightening the blue a little, and considering lessening the amount of yellow on the stripes, but otherwise I think its a classy look.
  18. Thanks in advance! Your work is fantastic.
