I wish I’d appreciated proper color blocking better back when it was commonplace. If it ever becomes commonplace again, I hope I don’t take it for granted.

In my opinion - black helmets, silver chrome facemasks, silver pants always…black home, white away, red alternate jersey, black or red socks, plus a throwback to the era of the first few Falcons playoff teams (1977-82). In this case the regular uniforms would basically just be updates of the Dirty Bird (1997-2002) set. If they were to go with something more red-heavy as a primary, then a straight Dirty Birds throwback would be great. Preferably both home and road like Miami does.

See, that makes total sense. I’ve always felt that the pant stripe should flow into the sock. It’s why the Falcons’ lack of red socks with their current set bothers me so much.

I’m just hoping they’d have green socks as an option. I could see them being all “traditional, but ICY”.

The Bills are kind of a wash for me. I love their logo and think it looks fantastic on both the K-Gun helmets and the current. I give props to the current one for tapering the stripe width in the same manner as the stripe in the logo, but both are good. They definitely need more red in their current uniforms - they’d look way better if they hadn’t gotten red of the striped socks! As for the Falcons, the Dan Reeves-era set is their aesthetic peak as far as I’m concerned. The red helmets are nice, especially with a red jersey, but the team looks more “right” to me with black helmets. I do think their primary helmet and primary jersey should be the same color, although there are many teams about whom I wouldn’t say that.

I would really appreciate it if they would swap navy and red in their color hierarchy. Looks like they won’t, but the logo will look better on a while helmet at least.

I wonder if the silver-blue helmet was the same shade that Dallas was using?

I had forgotten there was blue in those uniforms. Swap green with black and then black with blue and you could have something more interesting, but it would still be too dark.

Wow, that is *really* boring for (a) a Dolphins jersey, and (b) a fashion jersey.

I don’t think they ever had a bad home uniform. I’m not sure they ever had a bad road uniform either. Hard to go wrong with baby blue and red (plus briefly silver-blue).

Here’s hoping. Those were ugly.
