And now Dan Haren's a Cub. Does he even have a "right" uniform?
Oakland.

They actually look 'right' in those sweet Jays unis. There's something youthful about the Jays' look that always seems fun.

That's actually not too bad.
Aye. There could be a great logo/branding in there somewhere. I was inspired because only last week I was there for the gold medal PanAm soccer match - new stadium doesn't have parking, we had to stroll through what could've passed for Detroit.
-
I much prefer the current Miami Dolphins logo to any of their previous ones.
I don't prefer it, yet it has grown more respectfully for me since inception. The full clean whites are a great uniform to make the brand. I think the only aspect I'd edit is their new font... it's too thin.

- Hamilton Tigers*
Why does everyone always make their Hamilton teams involve Tigers, Cats, or a combination of words involving "-Cats" at the end? Surely there's something else that's got to do with Hamilton.
Hamilton Hammers.

2019: Sensing that the walls are closing in, Notre Dame relents and finally joins the ACC in football. It brings the league back up to 15 teams.
I think it's only inevitable. Though the ACC would probably always want to remain an even numbered set of schools, thus creating a bidding war or whatever for another spot.

I'm definitely thinking of putting Euro and Asian teams but having a hard time if I should put them in the same conferences or creating a new conference/league full of them.
I was literally just kidding. It's just a running joke with the Big 4 & 21st century ridiculous expansion.
There is no way though they won't have at least attempted Western Europe, & probably Asia + Central America.
22nd century... Super Bowl on the moon. Make the Raiders play a Sunday & travel to the dark side for a Thursday nighter.
-
End of the 21st century? There's about 12 European &/or Asian cities that might be on that list one day.

Canadiens-Nordiques will instantly return as one of the top 10 big 4 rivalries.

Detroit would not go back west. As much as it would help EVERYONE else, no backsies.
NHL could move Florida to Seattle for balance, & sanity.
-
Vegas and Suburbia? Two more Glendales? Why not!
Anaheim CA, Sunrise FL.

According to Ken Campbell (Senior writer for "The Hockey News") there are 5 NHL Expansion bids so far...
Las Vegas, Quebec, Toronto and 2 bids from Seattle.
Seems about right. I hope Markham bid fails, I don't want more gridlock on top of our current traffic gridlock.
Las Vegas has to be a near lock, Quebec City would soothe a lot of hockey fans, & Seattle is a no-brainer, might as well pull the trigger now.
As for realignment, I like the 3 conference splits ppl are playing with. LV & SEA would fit the current west no prob, & adding QUE wouldn't be the end of the world into the East... yet once Phoenix & possibly others start folding up tents, they'll have to do it all over again. R.I.P. Metropolitan Division please.

I enjoy these every single time...
Maybe it's because both teams don't love wearing them, it makes me as a Patriots fan happy?

This may be the most lopsided unpopular opinion, but:
I like the Thunder logo.
Nothing screams 'thunder' like that marshmallow logo straight out of a Lucky Charms box.
-
I really like these
Yeah, USA's 1996 World Cup set has been my fav so far. While the more heritage look ('10 + '14) works for an alt/throwback (as Canada adds sometimes for a single game during a tournament), using them as primary looks uninspired.
I'm looking forward to the next World Cup, hopefully everyone's unis are worthwhile.

Penguins in the market for Phil Kessel.

They should just scoop up both UCF & USF while they can for a foothold in the Florida football factory. They won't, so don't worry though.

I thought Markham decided against building their opulent cash-hole.
It did sort of I think. I live here (Thornhill which is a part of Markham; don't ask, it's confusing- the west side of Yonge St. is Vaughan) & I replied my mailer with a No vote, whatever that meant.
I've read local buzz that a deal is merely simmering until better launch conditions. Traffic would be chaos. I've seen Kanata up close & how much of a traffic grind it is for Ottawa; Markham would have worse traffic than New Delhi with where they want to place it.
-
Why don't we just do what they did in the first expansion... divide the league up by seniority, old teams in the east, new teams in the west.
PROBLEM SOLVED!
How's about ditch the 2 conferences & go 3? 11 teams in each... Playoffs could be seeded 1-16 from across the board, maybe even in a fixed bracket.
-
My heart says Quebec City & Seattle. My head thinks Las Vegas & Quebec City.
Not sure how they'd align the conferences.
If I were running the league, I'd move the Panthers to Quebec City, Coyotes to Portland, & expand to Seattle & Vegas.
-
If they leave it will be very interesting where the team calls home. The NHL (ok, the owners) stand to make a very nice windfall from expansion fees. Why "waste" a Vegas, Seattle, or Quebec by relocating there? Could we possibly see a dissolution of the team, with a simultaneous expansion franchise being granted to still take in that sweet, sweet expansion fee? It's more complicated than that but I just can't see anyone leaving that money on the table.
San Jose Sharks had a unique birth. Not sure the NHL would announce to the world such a precedent though, axing teams so it could keep expansion $ on the table.

Drake unis belong in the same bins as the Toronto Black Jays unis.
