ASU has such great colors, and such a great helmet decal, yet for some reason, they never seem to look great to me.
When I was a kid and more into college sports, they had the Sparky helmets and at least looked relatively consistent from week-to-week, but I really liked when they put the trident there. It's just that nothing else seems to work, either because they try too much, have poor mix-and-match combos, or just don't care.
That white/maroon combo posted above isn't bad, but could be a lot better. I think if i had the keys to redesign one team, even though there's some true trainwrecks that need it more, I might pick them, just because they have so much great existing stuff to work with.
I think it’s the details like the face masks/helmet decals, they always look cheap bc they change so frequently/never look cohesive. The logos are always recolored in a way where they never look like the original and kinda like a knockoff. Overall, gross

Here's a concept I've been tinkering with lately for the Ravens. The dark purple has been replaced with lavender to amplify contrast against black, and to give the team a more unique profile. I'm also creating the word mark lettering on my own without a font, so this will come later. Uniforms also to come later. C&C is much appreciated.
I’d ditch the B in the raven, besides that very creative concept I like it!

Monochrome is a small part of the trend pendulum, it’s already starting to swing back the other way in college (slowly but surely). As usual, the NFL is late to the to the party (“how do you do fellow kids”). This is not how the NFL will always look, thankfully

Gold Coast Titans, a relatively recent addition (2007) to the NRL. Always a little sad when teams choose names that have no local significance, so I've tried to work in a coastal / sunshine theme.

Yes… YES! Love this one, nothing but good things so far

Outstanding can’t wait to see more! Wouldn’t be surprised if that roosters concept is still my favorite when the series gets wrapped up

Let's try this again, because you don't seem to know what unique means.
Unique - if something is unique, it's the only one around. The reason is that the Latin prefix uni- means "one." (Technically speaking, it isn't possible to be "very unique" — you either are or you're not.) Think of the prefix in unicorn for a creature with one horn and unicycle for a cycle with one wheel.
Definitions of unique
adjective
the single one of its kind
“the unique existing example of Donne's handwriting”
“a unique copy of an ancient manuscript”
“certain types of problems have unique solutions”
synonyms:singular
single
existing alone or consisting of one entity or part or aspect or individual
I agree with your general point, but damn you said it in the most annoying way possible

Yeah, I get why they went with the green jerseys for Ohio State between the combo of ND leaning into green for warm-weather games for better fan coordination and the panic over another Georgia game playing out in the crowd (where it looked even worse than it was because ND fans were mostly wearing dark shades), but I would've preferred ND to wear the green against USC in a couple weeks, partly because green has some tradition in that matchup and just that ND in home blues vs. OSU in road whites is a classic matchup.
Overall though, I thought these ND green jerseys were much better than the prior UA attempts. Definitely would've preferred gold pants for the balance and a more traditional look (see the player who's not dressed wearing gold shorts in the background of this pic), but they popped very well in-stadium (borderline too well).
Darker green works better for ND than kelly green IMO, even if they have gold pants

I mean my point was that you shouldn't be citing "social media fan reaction" as a way to gauge how nice a uniform is. Most fans will love anything their team releases. If they wore blue socks last night or added a stripe to their white pants it's not like casual fans would suddenly revolt. Most of them wouldn't even notice a difference.
It's like saying, "My hometown is a great city", and when asked for evidence you say that a rock star said so during their concert.
We’re saying the same thing

Casual fans will like pretty much any uniform a team hypes up enough. If they posted a promo video for a Barry Sanders throwback I'm sure they'd get a lot of good responses too.
Exactly. I’m not saying it’s a good look, it’s a horrible look. But this other dude was on his high horse giving a lecture about “posting made up crap”. It’s not that deep, a lot of fans like the look. A lot of kids, fans, rock that same look when they’re playing HS or younger ball.

Right - so don't make that statement, since it isn't factual.
That's really my point. Never rely on polls and/or social media as evidence of what any group of people wants, since it only measures the response of those who choose to respond and are on that social media channel.
It ain’t that deep. Most casual fans probably do like it, or don’t care.

And now we move onto team 39.... and football returns to Jacksonville!
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARSFootball does in fact return to Jacksonville and intelligently run football at that and not being swindled by :censored:ing indian americans that call themselves Khans ((I'm looking at you Shahid, you and that drug taking moron of a son named Tony)) but owners that actually give a about the team especially when they go on deep runs in the playoffs. ((I mean REALLY))
The success of the 2017 AFC Championship game against the Patriots was the catalyst for what many consider these Jags to be a top tier contendership team in the AFC and they will eventually win a Super Bowl like they should of won in 2017 but the Philadelphia Eagles were stronger that year and deserved too.Unhinged commentary

Maybe he wanted to make an original concept

So far, both teams look exactly like their real life counterparts. What is the concept?

135+ pages in the NEWS Forum. I think concepts are great and should be put somewhere special. I don't know, maybe the CONCEPT Forum. I literally typed out what I was wading through at the very beginning of my original post. I really didn't think this was a difficult concept to grasp. Apparently, it is a difficult concept for some.
I’m so sorry you had to see one (ONE!!!) concept on your way to finding out which game the Seahawks are wearing their throwbacks for (which we already knew they were bringing back) or another faint tease of the Texans red helmets. At this point in the year, it’s not like we’re experiencing a deluge of exciting news breaks. I don’t mind seeing (related) concepts breaking up big blocks of text when nothing else is going on

It's a plague
It’s comical that designer-speak ended up being so convoluted and forced. It could be as simple as “there are mountains in this state so we made a mountain design” or “purple is a state color so we picked purple”.

If you're thinking it's copied from McElroy19's Seattle Sea Lions concept, it isn't. It has similar shading on the seal's body, but the face details and body shape are completely different. As someone who's traced the face from that same Sea Lions concept in the past, I feel like I'd know haha. If it's another concept you're thinking of, I can't seem to find it anywhere after a quick google search. Pretty sure edjb93's concept is original.
Apologies @edjb93, that’s exactly what I was thinking of! Juked me out of my socks.
