This one looks the best to me but i am very doubtful that they will actually outline the chiefs font unfortunately.

So I have mock ups of 31-53 in the double helmet - two bar facemask style endzones. I should probably create a new thread for something like that instead of muddying the waters here.
if you post this somewhere, let me know. love to look.

Love to see how each super bowl that didn’t have the double helmet EZ would have looked (Post SB 30).
big fan of the work.

I'm optimistic about this field. The fact that they actually used 2 different shades of blue in the midfield logo is already a huge win. They typically just use 1 shade for everything even if its off from what it should be.
-
Interesting discussion though: Typically, since the absence of the helmets in the end zone, they have painted the end zone opposite of the team logo. with that in mind, a gold 49ers EZ could be possible although i doubt it. I would be curious to see what that looks like.
However, i hated the Saints gold EZ and thought it would have been much better black with gold white writing.

Just if the Chiefs do a red endzone (which they shouldn't)... so there isn't two red endzones... i wonder if it's possible. The Chiefs have dominant red for the game, and the Niners will be dominantly gold... if we';re going with on-field aesthetics, i think it *could* be possible...I wondered the same thing although im positive it wont happen.

I think I've tried some gold endzone concepts for Green Bay in the past, I'd just have to find them. Personally, I am a fan of the Green endzone more, but maybe that's just because that's what I'm used to seeing. Same with the G logo. On their home field we always see it on grass with the gold outline. Of corse on the helmets the G is on a gold background, but I've always felt it's missing the outer line.
I'd like to give this a try, if I can find the time.
I think small NFL 100 logos at the 25's, like what most teams have done this season is probably most likely. I'll get some concepts done up of that.
I've gotten a few of these in the past. Great for nailing down official colors and things, and getting official logos. Where'd you end up finding these ones?
I guess its just a matter of preference, personally i have always hated a green end zone. For me, it just doesn't pop as much. Also, wish the field turf SuperBowls got team endzones turf made. Much better looking than just painting the turf. Obviously more expensive but seriously, $50-100k cost compared to NFL net worth or even Super Bowl profit......

Here's a look at a field possibility, with the NFL 100 logo in the endzones, and some painted numbers and yard markers.
I've also got some updates to Super Bowl III to work on, pointed out to me by Bill over at the Gridiron Uniforms Database, so I'll be working on that in the near future as well as catching up on some Super Bowl LIV concepts.
That looks way to good to be a Super Bowl Field. No helmets in the endzone but good symmetry with team logo and 100 yr logo. Centers everything up nicely. Ill chalk this up as a win if happens. However, Not much faith itll actually happen

Anyone ever tried to contact the NFL about these ideas? I wonder if they even know there is a large contingency that would like the helmets back in the endzone.

LOVE the helmet EZ's!!!!!!!! Why they ever stopped, i don't know.

Green Bay EZ would look so much better if Gold. That G is meant to lay on gold not green. I know they wont though.

Ill say this as a positive, Miami usually does a great job with field painting. I have given up wishing for the double helmet endzone and have accepted that mediocrity is the norm.

Millions of dollars in corporate sponsorship
Hopefully I can get to it Wednesday (I have class tonight after work). I can start adding texture to the field as well. Not sure what color the Patriots team box is going to be. It could be Navy, their endzone color, like the Eagles, or it could be their helmet color like last year (the Eagles team box is also their helmet color), so who knows. I'd like to see it first before I start a textured field.
Sadly, I think that might be the only way.
maybe a petition to at least make them aware of what the fans want.
they may not even know?

When I found this sight I was amazed that their were actually people out there as obsessed with field painting as me. Unless its my team in the Super Bowl (Cowboys) its the thing I get most excited about.
Not that the yellow with green Packers is a thing of beauty but the Green EZ on a green field just irritates me. Maybe some like it but to me it one of the ugliest.
Enzones that disappointed:
Green Packer EZ
Blue Bears EZ (I was so pumped for an Orange EZ like SBXX)
GIants (Their first 2 were Red)
What EZ's did yall like and dislike?

great stuff. I have always enjoyed the fields of Super Bowls and Bowl games. Wish the NFL cared more.
Why did Green Bay's EZ's change from green Yellow to Green?
