  1. Jackie Bradley Jr.’s arm sleeve has reminded me how much more I prefer navy undershirts/sleeves to red for the Red Sox. As for the potential of socks not matching, Boston already had it right once and need not look any further:
  2. The bass jumping out of the water and the tail logos are way too complicated. Looks like a mess from a distance. Also, the worm logo is totally unnecessary. Gwinnett and Augusta aren’t swings and misses, but Brandiose just sort of popped up to second on these.
  3. I’m really not a fan of Heat concepts that feature the Vice colors. None of them look right to me.
  4. This is a terribly underappreciated sweater: It should’ve been a lasting classic and not a one-hit wonder.
  5. Unpopular opinion maybe, but I personally think Gary Thorne is one of the best. I really enjoy listening to anything he’s calling. Ernie Johnson’s a pretty underrated baseball voice in my opinion, too. Other than that, that was a pretty good list. I’m definitely a fan of Michaels and Doc.
  6. On today's episode of "I'm just gonna go ahead and say it".... This is my all-time favorite Leafs look. *ducks for cover*
  7. I actually really like the how clean and crisp the new Fox package is. I'm a fan.
  8. The best individual uniform the Rangers have ever worn...
  9. Wow, even I had forgotten that happened. An odd random thing about AK is that even though he was a 2000's guy, his "right" uniform to me is the mountains set by far. Even the double blues don't look as right. Also, I'm betting his number will be the next hanging in the Jazz rafters at this point.
  10. The fauxback pig is a really great logo, but "Barbecue" is weird and as mentioned, they look almost like Orioles clones rather than Phillies affiliates. They should consider taking the fauxback pig and making an occasional alternate cap in thier current colors out of it. It's too good a logo to use just once.
  11. The Bees will be throwing back to the old Buzz on the 10th. I hope to catch this game for the childhood nostalgia rush! Hopefully they'll sell some merch as well.
  12. Premier League is nice. Very clean. It may be my new favorite along with the late 90's-early 00's NBA on NBC set.
  13. Plus, way wrong helmet. Double wrong. Counts just fine for me.
  14. The Nuggets' first powder blue look was pretty close to garbage, but they've slowly fixed it up into a very good look. The most recent changes are the best the Nuggets have ever looked in powder blue*, and by a mile. I see them as a great example that, if you try, you can salvage a bad look by making the right changes to it. I wish they'd made these changes a lot earlier, but at least they made them and they're definitely the better for it. *Not best EVER, just best in powder blue.
  15. I'm currently attending the Isotopes/Bees game and it looks like the Bees are wearing stance socks. They're exactly like these Pirates' ones: I just thought it was interesting as I'd never seen the Bees wear them before until today.
  16. I completely agree. I felt the same way about the Sonics, too.
  17. This was honestly one of my favorite football uniforms as a kid. In a way, it almost looked intimidating in the same way the Raiders do. I can't explain how, but that's the vibe I always got from it. They nailed it right then and there.
  18. I don't see any problem with the Richmond shorts, myself. The Kings weren't the only team to go asymmetrical with the shorts panels. It all worked great for me and I loved them. And coincidentally, that mid-00's Kings set is what I consider to be one of thier worst. I hated that script and the numbers. They were in no way to me an upgrade of the preceding ones and seemed to try too hard. The set after that one was the worst, though.
  19. This is not only the best the Kings ever looked, but I think it's one of the best uniforms in NBA history: It's no Celtics or Lakers of course, but I absolutely loved it.
  20. Great find! It would've really been interesting if the Cardinals for whatever reason stuck with these long-term. Or if this lasted into today in some form (going through the pullover phase and back again).
  21. Oh yikes, seeing those Oilers prototypes make me very grateful they went with what they did. And as a fan of the classic set, that's saying something.
  22. I really liked "It Don't Matter to the Sun" because it didn't sound like as big a departure from his regular style, and "Maybe" because it was a pleasant surprise of a good 90's ballad. The rest of the album was pretty blah to me, though. I don't mind the idea of concept albums wading into new territory, but if you're gonna do it, you've really got to nail it from start to finish. As much as I like Garth, I just don't think he did that with Chris Gaines.
  23. Although he journeyed a little towards the end of his career, Robin Roberts with the Yankees is especially wrong as the only appearance he made for them was in '62 Spring Training, never making a regular season appearance before being released that May, and signing with the Orioles. In fact, his Hall of Fame plaque does not even list the Yankees as one of his teams.
