    the fielder there needs to wake up. Nearly every pitch Sid threw ended up deep into the outfield or seats, so the infielders had little to pay attention to. When Sid was at his best with the Mets he has a game where he had just two ground outs. The Mets would often play HoJo at Short for extra offense.

    What's the story behind this? Green Bay and Milwaukee are close by and it is not usual for a football star to throw out a first pitch for the local baseball team, and even take BP when they do so. So he was throwing out the first pitch that game but took BP before the game? Okay. I've seen it before with football players.

    I think eventually Rutgers will get in the Big Ten, so the Big Ten Network can get greater exposure in the New York TV Market
