The Peninsula Pilots (Coastal Plain League) appear to have a new alternate navy jersey with an outline of the Commonwealth of Virginia and a large P coming out if it: They had the Tequila Sunrise a few years back, but it seems to have disappeared, even though staff last year wore an interesting cap with the outline of an F-14 filled in with gaudy stripes like that jersey.

I unknowingly actually saw this jersey in action last night. There is a player number on the top left-hand side of the jersey. I will admit that I was not a fan of the jersey, but the cap looked great.

I really tried to search for the answer to this & to not bother you guys ...but to no avail. I cannot update my signature (photo or text) for love nor money. No problem with revisions to avatars or profile cover photos. The new sig will show up in my profile "about me" tab & appears to be working when I insert it in the body of a post (like in this one ...photo only). But it is not updating in the signature spot. The old sig always remains. The vitals: Photobucket,  860 x 140 pixels, PNG, 181 KB. Where am I going wrong? Thanks.

I think the "Change Sig" option is under Account Settings when you click on your name in the top right corner, but i don't believe i've changed my sig since we changed to IP 4

    Anyone know this font?

I'm guessing the "J" is the key.

    Thank you

  4. This is more of a favorite team thing but I never liked the Rams until they moved back to LA

I don't think Original 6 jerseys are that much better than some of the better, newer jerseys in the NHL. It's just the fact that they've been relatively unchanged for 60-100 years gives it a sense of superiority. Detroit and Toronto especially. If they didn't exist and a new team from Las Vegas or Seattle came in with plain red/blue and white uniforms, people would say "They're ok, but kinda boring".

If I am being as objective as possible, I would say Chicago home and away, Boston home, Montreal home are among the best in the league. The Rangers home and away are very nice too, toparrow-10x10.png 3rd in the league for sure. Detroit and Toronto are kind plain, not a huge fan. Montreal and Boston's away are nothing special either.

But they are still better than a lot around the league that have ugly components.

+1 on that, I actually like the new(ish) Hurricanes jerseys.

Now to talk baseball, The Rays logo isn't completely garbage. Also the Diamondbacks nailed it with the new jerseys

I just wanted to tell you that someone quoted the 'content' you made

I was signed up for the email list on following with V3 and was fine with it, but this is plain annoying and scares the crap out of me every time it goes off. But that's why I turned the volume down.

  6. What about Rebooting the NFL Europe League and a NFL Canada League with the same exact rules as the NFL and the 2 champions of those leagues go on to play in the NFL for a year Instead of expanding the NFL it would be 2 new cities and teams in the NFL every year. Its just an idea in progress that i haven't finished yet but thought maybe someone else might be interested and could help me finish or give me some more ideas.

I have an idea for this, the two worst NFL teams of the year go to this league so it's like a cycle

  7. Some quarterback stats.

Super Bowl XXXVII was between Rich Gannon and Brad Johnson. Both of these quarterbacks were drafted by the Vikings and spent time with the Redskins.

There is a trend of 49er quarterbacks going to the Chiefs. Steve Deberg, Joe Montana, Steve Bono, Elvis Grbac, and Alex Smith.

In the late 1990s, the Saints had two quarterbacks named Billy Joe. Billy Joe Hobert and Billy Joe Tolliver.

During the cowboys super bowl runs in the 1990s, Jason Garrett was on the second and third team as a back up to Troy Aikman. On the third team, the other back up was Wade Wilson. Both Garrett and Wilson are coaches for the Cowboys now. Garrett is the head coach and Wilson is the quarterbacks coach.

Chris Chandler has the record for starting a game with the most teams at seven.

The highest scoring and the largest come back in a college bowl game was the 2001 GMAC Bowl between Marshall and East Carolina. The two quarterbacks were Bryon Leftwich and David Garrard. They were both drafted and played for the Jacksonville Jaguars at the same time.

Gale Gilbert was on five straight super bowl teams with the Bills and Chargers. All of them losses.

Jim Kelly and Dan Marino are both from the Pittsburgh Area. They both played for AFC North teams. Neither of them won the Super Bowl. Both of there last games were against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Tom Brady, Drew Bledsoe, and Steve Grogan have started over half of the games played by the New England Patriots.

Brett Favre was the first quarterback to win against every team. Kerry Collins won against every team except for the Dolphins.

Norm Van Brocklin still owns the record for most passing yards in a game with 554. Second place is a two-way tie between Warren Moon and Matt Schaub at 527.

Between his time in the CFL and NFL, Warren Moon started a game in four different decades.

John Elway is the oldest Quarterback to win the Super Bowl at 40. Ben Roethlisberger is the youngest at 23.

Between his years in the All American Football League and The NFL, Otto Graham won seven championships in his career.

Don't you EVER mention that game again. Do you hear me?!
