It could be that but in this day and age it’d be mildly surprising for them to use even vaguely religious inspired iconography.

With knowledge like this i believe you sir were on the marketing and design teams.

Not this team, but as a creative director I’m used to having to layer on some BS rationale to justify creative decisions. -
I couldn't find any "marketing BS" about the meaning of the triangle but the triangle is a "masculine" symbol and this is for dudes, so....
Or maybe it represents the "flow" of water as the triangle is connected to the negative space of each leaf of the clover, all three formed spaces flowing into the center of the logo?

Holy hell. RIP Dwayne Haskins, struck by a car this morning.

Yeah, not a fan of the new logo but more importantly: when do I get confirmation the BattleHawks are back, bay-bay?!

Rumored new logo.

Sure the old scratchy wordmark was a bit dated but at least it had some personality.

That's about as journeyman as journeyman gets.
Wow, I knew he'd been around but that's crazy. He's only 35, so if he can just manage to have a cup of coffee with three new teams he'll be able to say he played for half the league.

Bonus points for a neckroll - possibly the least-necessary and most-restrictive piece of equipment I ever tried out when I played.
I never wore it when I played, but speaking of neckrolls I was always partial to Bryan Cox playing while attached to an airplane seat headrest.

Top of screen ads that block my notifications and bottom of screen ads that come over the part of the screen I’m typing on are getting pretty obnoxious.

Skip Bayless is a horse's ass but his brother makes fantastic Mexican food. So it's a mixed bag for the Bayless boys.

The city name is French, many of the streets are French names that are just absolutely Americanized/butchered in pronunciation, but the culture isn't that dissimilar from growing up in the Chicago suburbs to me. A lot of South City reminds me of the southwest suburbs, in both good and bad ways. Culturally, there's very little that's French about St. Louis.

I like everything about the BattleHawks' identity and uni set except the name. If it was any other reasonable aviation themed name, it'd be just about perfect.

Nailed it.
The only CCSLC username that's an homage to the signature at the beginning of all WWE programming.

Anybody in the Lo' Downiverse wanna go Villano I, II, III and IV style?

Booo! Is it the exclamation point, or is there like a limit to special characters in one name?

I finally got rid of the period off my name!

2. Lots of great former CCSLCers from the past in that old thread.
The 'Lo Down needs more random, one-off appearances from old posters, especially around Rumble time.

Doesn’t it stand for Chick Magnet, and there was other CMs back in his backyard days.It did, but now it doesn't. You dig?
But yeah, pretty sure he's acknowledged it was Chick Magnet Punk. The CM just kinda stuck.

Chose my handle when I was 20 years old. Chicago sports, Shawn Michaels, born in 1985.
I didn't even think about how it would misrepresent me name-wise, but yeah, my name's Andy.
I like the idea of your CS being like the CM in CM Punk. Where it stands for nothing but could stand for everything.

It'd certainly be weird seeing you go by any other handle at this point, and considering people for the longest time thought my real name was Shawn, maybe you should reconsider altering your alias.I thought your name was Shawn up until this very moment.

I was always split on a name change, since ive had this on on here for a LONG time. It was the last place where i used it, and I havent really been an Astros fan since high school/early college. Figured it was time to make a change with all of this Astros controversy.
I did add formerly...to my member title.
Smart. I changed my name once before. Going from El_Duderino to DDR. But several people then thought I was a new member who was a massive Dance Dance Revolution fan. Adding a "Formerly Known As" may have helped.

so that people know that whoever is posting something is the same person that they've been interacting with for years just under a new name?
I kinda want to change my name, but that's my hangup.

Huge for Trea Turner. Reportedly no opt-out. I get wanting to lock-in a massive amount of money, but I'm surprised he didn't leave himself an out in case things go south.
