  1. Thanks for almost making me spit out my coffee. WTF, they ran that F@#%ing shovel pass THREE times in one drive - Humphrey busted loose for 20+ yards, then Elway hit him in the back on another, then the last one was batted up in the air that Elway spiked to avoid an int. If only they ran it a dozen more times they might have won that game
  2. Honestly the Falcons and Rams were oversights on my part, my mistake. The Steelers white facemasks were what was actually painted in Super Bowl IX.
  3. That's awesome! You'd think for the 100th season that the NFL would want to do something like this.
  4. Saw this in the Super Bowl Field Database thread - I've made a bunch of 1960's Super Bowl endzones for each team. Even though Super Bowl I had the NFL and AFL logo on both sides of each teams' wordmark, Iused the Super Bowl II endzone format (with the team logo and league logo) for this request.
  5. I loved their endzone in XV. The kelly green and silver was a beautiful thing. Unrelated - one of my first jerseys I had as a kid was a Ron Jaworski home jersey.
  6. Super Bowl LIV - The gold and red makes this field stand out. Good news to see that the actual field will use this color combo. Original Super Bowl LIV - TBD
  7. Super Bowl LIII - The yellow-gold looks much better for the Rams than the true gold from their St. Louis days.. Original Super Bowl LIII - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2965005
  8. Super Bowl LII - Decided to go with silver/gray for the Eagles this time, just as it was in Super Bowl XV. Original Super Bowl LII - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2843046
  9. Super Bowl LI - Aesthetics don't change too much from the original. Perhaps the paint doesn't fade too much like it did in the game. Original Super Bowl LI - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2712369
  10. Super Bowl 50 - Went with teal this time for Carolina. Not unprecedented for the NFL to change up during the helmet era. Dolphins went from aqua endzones in VIII and XVII to orange in XIX. 11. Super Bowl XLIX - I can picture Malcolm Butler making that pick just outside that neon endzone of Seattle. Original Super Bowl XLIX - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2379565
  12. Super Bowl XLVIII - Debated again whether to use gray or the neon green for Seattle. Neon green wins. The Broncos get the orange endzone back in this format too. Original Super Bowl XLVIII - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2319473
  13. Super Bowl XLVII - Even without the helmets, this was a good looking field. Original Super Bowl XLVII - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2318378
  14. Super Bowl XLVI - Another Pats-Giants Super Bowl Original Super Bowl XLVI - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2317076
  15. Super Bowl XLV - The green and the gold look great in this. Original Super Bowl XLV - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2315837
  16. Super Bowl XLIV - Saints get a black endzone background. Original Super Bowl XLIV - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2314250
  17. Super Bowl XLIII - Not much change to the visual aesthetics to the field in this one. Cardinals get their only helmet endzone. Original Super Bowl XLIII - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2313105
  18. Super Bowl XLII - No all-navy end zones here. Great contrast here. Also added blue striping around the Giants logo. Original Super Bowl XLII - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2311832
  19. At this point it wouldn't surprise me if they paint a white outline around the Chiefs wordmark and paint the endzone red
  20. Super Bowl XLI - The contrasts in colors makes this one pop. Original Super Bowl XLI - https://boards.sportslogos.net/topic/98529-super-bowl-field-database-early-concepts-for-super-bowl-liv/?do=findComment&comment=2310814
