I’ve always disagreed with this, which seems to be unpopular. No one in AZ cares about the history they have in Chicago, which is a crappy history to begin with (in terms of play, how are you the oldest team in the league with one championship from the 40’s??). This is Arizona’s team now, and their history in Arizona (for the most part), has ALSO stunk. Going forward, with so much young talent and FINALLY looking like a solid team, it seems better to lean on that and come up with something completely new. Obviously it could look like a total disaster, but I think something a couple notches above the jaguars would look good. Some number outlines, some sublimated AZ flag stuff, yadda yadda. I think the only people who think of the cardinals as a “traditional” team are on this board.
See, I mildly disagree, perhaps because most of us remember their older simplistic uniforms and despise their current set.
Even if they have relocated a couple of times, they should still embrace their past if they are willing to wear a patch for the franchise's 100th back in 98. it says they embrace it. Not to mention they still do events back in StL to stay in touch with the franchises past. But I will agree the current Jaguars uniform would be the perfect model for the cardinals' future use since, for one, I doubt the Jags will be using past next year. Two, they could be a modern classic if on the right team and a few minor changes. Jerseys - Cardinal - White - Gray ( desert cardinal.) instead of black.

Wasn't there talk when one of them ( Giants or Jets ) moved to Jersey they were gonna take on the NJ moniker but obviously decided against it.

Ads have gotten a bit more aggressive but I understand the need so I am fine with them. Overall I like the update with everything I've messed with so far and the overall cosmetic appearance. I will agree wish photo uploads were easier.

It’s 2021, buy a freakin 4K tv dude
Remember this isn't just about the folks sitting at home on their couches. You've got announcers, coaches, spotters, officials not to mention fans in the stands that much prefer legible numbers.

The "aquafresh" pipping was terribleI hated that uniform, the piping had no point. Also I was never gonna like it with what it replaced. When it happened the talk was ownership made the move because it was a cheaper uniform as a money saving option. I still miss the prowler.

I've grown to like their simplicity but especially compared to the previous few sets. I'm fine without the gold or at least very minimal. ( See mustard jerseys ) that being said the numerals need contrasting outlines and give us some back double/triple stripes on the sleeves and pants. The team still uses the previous font on social graphics and website, so it's definitely not out of the question to see it make a return but the return to teal is a wonderful start after the team trying to phase it out less than a decade ago.
Something like this with the modern striping yet simplified uniform.

Where does the Jaguars equipment manager get off saying they're the only NFL team that uses teal, they aren't even the only team in Florida.
it's obvious looking at the two colors that they aren't the same.

The thing with the Jaguars original set, is that it seemed every year they tweaked it. The number font changed a few times, they had side panels (although I think this was very short lived, like a couples games? I can't remember exactly), the pants stripe changed on both the white and black pants, their away jersey number color changed from teal to black. It also benefited from shiny fabric, which made the gold a stronger compliment to the teal. I don't think their gold translates well to Nike jerseys currently (as we saw with their previous set, it either appeared mustard or yellow). I think this current set is a great base, they just need to do some minor tweaks to elevate it.
I wanna say the side panels were a 97 preseason thing, still have of those jerseys that was reversible lol.

People are saying both electric and Carolina blue, both of which are wrong. The official shade is "Panthers blue", or PMS Process Blue.
I thought so.

Carolina blue, which is considerably different than teal.
Yes, very much so different. I know they call it " panthers blue" now but I remember it being called "process blue" at some point. I wouldn't say its Carolina either its not the same shade as UNC blue, its richer and darker.

So get 19K and say oh sorry guys were keeping black after we already said TEAL IS PRIMARY.

I'd bet the farm the Jags will get new unis the first year they are allowed.
I wouldn't say full new unis but perhaps some touchups. ( stripes and refinement ) I used to think they would bring gold back but I honestly don’t see this at this point.

They could've added a small touch near the end of the double stripes just to set it apart and tie it in to the style.

I do believe it's the 25th anniversary of the 96 championship, so if anything you will see more commemorating that on the field. Though the uniform hasn't really changed since but for the swooosh!

Pretty much redneck outside of Portland, Eugene, and Bend. Corvallis is definitely redneck
I can confirm after trying to date someone from Corvallis a few years ago they were much more redneck than I was used to around JACKSONVILLE lol.

The bevels from the numbers need to go, I do enjoy the usage of stripes and touch of gray. TAMU doesn't need thrills, bells and whistles.

It is funny I joking told some people when the XFL season started and I had first seen the Houston logo. That it looked like what an alternate reality incarnation of the Oilers would probably look like now had they never moved and been purchased by the Mcnair family.

I would imagine it's difficult to build a fanbase where your divisional rival used to be and when you alienated most of all your fans from your home of 56 seasons. This is undoubtedly another Lakers/Clippers deal but possibly worse for the Chargers because the Clippers weren't disliked by some of LA fans they just didn't care about them. Los Angeles didn't want them in the first place they wanted the Raiders and were force fed the Chargers as was Kroenke & the Rams to make the League happy. This will probably only manage to work because of the stadium and market, but don't think if this keeps going they won't find a way out, the lease is with Kroenke and I am sure he would let Dino out with a smile and the league would be fine if another market ponied up almost a billion dollars to build a home just for the Chargers. Also Since the Raiders are getting a stadium and 700 million + from Vegas so no matter what they aren't the LA picture anytime soon.

I listened to a podcast talking about the Kroenke/ StL lawsuit; they spoke about how the Bidwells still loan stuff out from the Big Red days for meet-and-greets with old players.
