  1. I listened to a podcast talking about the Kroenke/ StL lawsuit; they spoke about how the Bidwells still loan stuff out from the Big Red days for meet-and-greets with old players.
  2. See, I mildly disagree, perhaps because most of us remember their older simplistic uniforms and despise their current set. Even if they have relocated a couple of times, they should still embrace their past if they are willing to wear a patch for the franchise's 100th back in 98. it says they embrace it. Not to mention they still do events back in StL to stay in touch with the franchises past. But I will agree the current Jaguars uniform would be the perfect model for the cardinals' future use since, for one, I doubt the Jags will be using past next year. Two, they could be a modern classic if on the right team and a few minor changes. Jerseys - Cardinal - White - Gray ( desert cardinal.) instead of black.
  3. Wasn't there talk when one of them ( Giants or Jets ) moved to Jersey they were gonna take on the NJ moniker but obviously decided against it.
  4. Ads have gotten a bit more aggressive but I understand the need so I am fine with them. Overall I like the update with everything I've messed with so far and the overall cosmetic appearance. I will agree wish photo uploads were easier.
  5. Remember this isn't just about the folks sitting at home on their couches. You've got announcers, coaches, spotters, officials not to mention fans in the stands that much prefer legible numbers.
  6. I hated that uniform, the piping had no point. Also I was never gonna like it with what it replaced. When it happened the talk was ownership made the move because it was a cheaper uniform as a money saving option. I still miss the prowler.
  7. I've grown to like their simplicity but especially compared to the previous few sets. I'm fine without the gold or at least very minimal. ( See mustard jerseys ) that being said the numerals need contrasting outlines and give us some back double/triple stripes on the sleeves and pants. The team still uses the previous font on social graphics and website, so it's definitely not out of the question to see it make a return but the return to teal is a wonderful start after the team trying to phase it out less than a decade ago. Something like this with the modern striping yet simplified uniform.
  8. Brent and Austen Interview: Jimmy Luck, Jags Head Equipment Manager
  9. it's obvious looking at the two colors that they aren't the same.
  10. https://twitter.com/MiaOBrienTV/status/1362169904292593664?s=20 Mia has a brief with Jags equipment mgr Jimmy Luck.
  11. I wanna say the side panels were a 97 preseason thing, still have of those jerseys that was reversible lol.
  12. Yes, very much so different. I know they call it " panthers blue" now but I remember it being called "process blue" at some point. I wouldn't say its Carolina either its not the same shade as UNC blue, its richer and darker.
  13. So get 19K and say oh sorry guys were keeping black after we already said TEAL IS PRIMARY.
  14. I wouldn't say full new unis but perhaps some touchups. ( stripes and refinement ) I used to think they would bring gold back but I honestly don’t see this at this point.
  15. They could've added a small touch near the end of the double stripes just to set it apart and tie it in to the style.
  16. I do believe it's the 25th anniversary of the 96 championship, so if anything you will see more commemorating that on the field. Though the uniform hasn't really changed since but for the swooosh!
  17. I can confirm after trying to date someone from Corvallis a few years ago they were much more redneck than I was used to around JACKSONVILLE lol.
  18. The bevels from the numbers need to go, I do enjoy the usage of stripes and touch of gray. TAMU doesn't need thrills, bells and whistles.
  19. It is funny I joking told some people when the XFL season started and I had first seen the Houston logo. That it looked like what an alternate reality incarnation of the Oilers would probably look like now had they never moved and been purchased by the Mcnair family.
