i get it… but it bothers me as a fan when players change numbers while being a part of the same team.

“Unique color palette in sports” ”nothing like rams bone” ”no metallic” ”no copper” ”yellow only in the logo” im running out of options for guesses, are they about to add turquoise here? Thinking AZ… maybe? What else?

The baseline ads being blank because of national TV, makes these courts look WEAK

the Chargers rolled out their new set before Herbert, the bengals got a whole new set after 1 year of Burrow, Jags rebranded off an AFCC loss* knowing the rebrands are 1.5-2 years in the making and how fast NFL teams rise/fall/change, they don’t consider the team success when rolling it out. 2 years ago this team was in a wildly different spot

this all sounds like a set in the realm of the digital clock Buccaneers, just with Copper instead of the Pewter

Is there a world where the new colors not used in major sports is simply Red-Yellow-Blue? As in the state flag? there are plenty of teams that use 2/3 but no team uses all 3 besides the avalanche/blues/devils alternates…??? Real Salt Lake but idk if that counts to TruColors hints?

Sounds like helmet will be white. My guess is the tint flakes type of shell. Sounds most reasonable while being “unique”. based on last year black helmet and the teaser, I imagine we’re seeing some sort of chrome logo/face mask to match. unique colors new to major sports makes me believe there’s more of a copper since it’s also “not anything like the rams bone”, which to me rules out a sand color. the draft hat being old red and yellow/gold is the wrench that makes no sense… unless it’s a decoy!

The baseball fanatics thing is a perfect example. I have a jersey from the majestic era, and one from the fanatics era. The majestic one is miles better in quality and it isn’t close.

I have been wanting to grab a new flyers jersey. Between the roster turmoil because of horrendous ownership/GM, potential team selling (please), rumored redesigns coming next year, and an absolute hate for fanatics, just a big L for me and anyone else in the fanbase

This is a disaster. Simple as that. i don’t care what factory they use for jerseys. Anything with a fanatics tag comes back with horrendous quality, and their customer support is beyond atrocious. may the jerseys still look about the same on ice? Maybe. But everything else merch wise from a fan perspective is about to plummet. And yes, I know fanatics already made a lot of off-ice merch, but that quality sucked already too

I do love the Mighty Ducks nostalgic logo. But I have a soft spot for the stylized "D" logo too. Would hate to see that completely go away. Uniforms absolutely need some work, but I think from a logo-spot they sit in a really good place.

It felt this way last year, and will feel even moreso this year. The field is very dark. too much black, not much color standing out. missing the days of racing point and Renault colors on the grid.

Lost in all the commotion of yesterday was a debut of a new Fox score bug. Love the font for the score, and the focus on team color/logos. Hope they keep the same style for college games too. Overall solid and not too gimmicky.

As far as templated SB logos, I really like this new style where there’s at least some flair to the city represented. Vegas one gets a B+ from me. Eagles/Chiefs is going to be a good looking Super Bowl. The Chiefs going heavy red with the pants will clash really well with Philly, who will have a decent amount of white. Arizonas TV lighting tends to dull colors a bit, glad the Chiefs went with red to clash more.

At DeMeco Ryans’ introductory press conference, the Texans put 2 helmets on tables behind him. BOTH WERE BATTLE RED could be nothing….. unless….

Jags going Teal pants is such a layup of a choice, I just know (feel) they're going to wear all white. Will clash beautifully against the KC red with the late afternoon sun. I'd pair with black socks but I dont think they've worn that combo yet, just all teal lower half.

All the Cowboys players in blue socks look infinitely better than those in white. Not sure how they dont all match, we can make patterned leggings, socks, you name it. This cowboys look is a really solid uniform if they just wore the silver pants that match it. not that hard, yet here we are.

I dont know when the trend went from full baseline team branding to just the bottom half below the basket... Its just, off. And not like teams all did it to fit sponsors there, plenty just have it blank.

Couple different things I want to say that I'm just throwing into one post: Colored endzones are better 10/10 times, shame it takes until the postseason for it to happen (although shared use stadiums it makes sense, turf can be washed out a la Atlanta and LA) Bengals - Ravens used up their good matchup last week, and I feel like they both knew they had to change to differentiate. Black over White vs White over Black is a tough matchup to watch. Bengals set would look infinitely better if the stripes on the pants matched the stripes on the helmet. No need for the outline and white filler. They also need orange socks/accessories to look good, but at least they do that. Vikings best look is when the jersey is purple and the pants are white, or vice versa. No mono looks. And no shot Houston has a new set for next year beyond updated patchwork, or changing the red jersey number font to blue. Production on 2023 merch has already begun, which includes jerseys, no chance they have any update to a brand (unless they had something finalized previously and the polling of fans was a late stage double check that it would be well received, rather than exploratory analysis).

Jaguars official look: Teal jersey White Pants White Socks not their best, but will look sound. Wish the socks weren’t white but should be a solid looking game (pending chargers go yellow pants)

The home look for Washington is a good one. I like the numbers, the helmet is awesome. Pants or Socks need some yellow, I would prefer the pants just to *be* yellow. (Or gold, whatever you want to call it) The white uniform does not complement the burgundy in any way. The gradient gimmick is not good, and it does not complement the *really nice* helmet in any way. The BFBS uniform is horrendous and unnecessary. There's something to build off of, but like most other things coming out of Washington, its a disappointment.
