A few years ago, the Bucks had to ditch their cream colored alts because the color messed with on-court digital ads on TV. With this new Pistons city edition, I’m guessing that issue has been solved?
As a Detroit fan, the Pistons aren't on National tv enough for the league to care if they are visible or not so maybe they gave them a pass? Lol

What made the original 2015-17 gray Pistons uniforms work well, was the Color scheme (intentionally or not) being reminiscent of GM Auto factory worker uniforms.

As somebody who grew up going to Rampage games, Seeing this thread makes me even more sad that the Rampage name and colors did make a return, but they belong to Iowa instead this time around.

Those courts are a waste of paint.
Wood too, considering most teams will only get to use their own court 1 or 2 times.

Wasn't the NBA's entire reasoning for not having fully paint covered courts back in the day was that they just thought it wouldn't be aesthetically pleasing on TV?

I got a bad feeling the empty half of the baseline was ruined by having Michelob Ultra slap their logo over there during the Finals. Now it looks like their court-side sponsorship is gonna be there for all nationally televised games. Not sure how it would work for a team like the Grizzlies, who have the team name running from end-to-end though.
Edit: oh...this really is a thing now. No doubt about it. MU was on the courts of Milwaukee and the Lakers on Thursday night. I swear, we can't have nice things because ads need to be everywhere, even when it comes to these games on ESPN/ABC and TNT.
Its been a problem ever since the 2021 season but watching the Lakers home game vs the Suns felt awful because there was zero space on the screen that I could rest my eyes on that didnt have any obstructive ads on the court, virtually projected and in arena.

This is the best pic I could find, since the TV angle (purposefully?) obstructs it, but the celtics moved Red's signature down to the very bottom of the court, in favor of the TD garden logos being relocated from the baselines.

Have the Nuggets always had the sponsored court side logo opposite the baseline script? Seeing Michelob Ultra near the basket makes this NBA Finals game feel somewhat like a locally-televised regular season game when it shouldn't be there for the national TV games
During local games, they are actually one of the few teams that dont have an ad on the basket baseline, and instead had the team script on both side.

Excuse me being out of the loop on things related to the NBA, but how come every court now has the wordmarks left and right aligned and not centered anymore? New mandate? Advertisement reasons?
My biggest gripe with the new baseline decal alignment is that it now applies to nationality televised games as well instead of just local games so now every court has large unnecessary blank spaces on the most visable side of the baseline areas.

I'm very sure this picture is heavily photoshopped. But major things to point out that's wrong are
-the heat uniform in from 2005 way past any of these 3s careers
- the simple reason that they all said other than the dream team they would never team up for a big 3 super team
And finally, none of them has ever even played for the heat. I know I left out some stuff ok. http://www.totalprosports.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/jordan-bird-and-magic.jpg

The 1999-2002 Nike team designs were all ahead of there time, even the looks that feel outdated now like the Mavericks and Pistons.
