"Broncos" lmfao

'twas a joke. Tampa is great and I have plenty of friends from there, but let's be real, the area does have quite the contingent of thin blue stripers.
-
Have you been to Tampa? It wouldn't surprise me one bit if that was intentional.

Totally get that. (I think) I've made my (admittedly kind of stupid) point and I'll move on. Half the posts in this thread are complaining about the Saints leotards, teams in solid white pants/white socks, and the Cowboys uniforms in general. So I didn't think it was a big deal to vent a little bit. Moving on.

Maybe I didn't express my point clearly enough. My issue is the tweet showing little diagrams pointing to socks, pants, etc. with a little sidebar saying WHITE or BLUE. It just screams desperation for attention and is, for lack of a better word, cringey/lame/cheesey/nauseating. I obsess over uniforms just as much as the next guy, but a full uniform detail "announcement" is completely unnecessary. Let us find out what you're wearing on Sunday morning during warmups; it's stupid to make a social media post about your freaking blue socks.

Call me a grandpa, but this tweet perfectly encapsulates just how stupid, cringey and pointless these UnIfOrM rEvEaLs are. Nevermind the g*dd*mn lame-ass frozen face dude emoji, but c'mon, do you really need a little graphic showing SOCKS down there???? Good lord I hate this league, and the vast majority of its fanbase, so damn much. STOP THE PRESSES, OUR FOOTBALL TEAM IS WEARING BLUE SOCKS WITH OUR STANDARD ROAD UNIFORMS. PLEASE RETWEET THIS AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE. Give me a break. Get off my lawn. Take me back to 1982.

Potentially unpopular take, but even as a uniform detail enthusiast, I find these reveal tweets absolutely cringey and just stupid. What other league in the world tweets out "here's what color our helmet, pants and SOCKS will be next weekend." I miss the days when you found out what teams were wearing when they ran out onto the field on Sunday/Monday. Throwback announcements once or twice a year are fine but these "helmet -- jersey -- pants -- socks" detail announcements make my eyes roll further back in my head than human anatomy allows.

I watch a fair amount of games and I feel like I see more 2012-2018 gear in the stands than the current look too. Or maybe it's about even, but definitely enough to stand out to me.

Louisville just needs to bring back their 90's/early 2000's maybe? look with some modernizing. Fix the stripes some and this is a clean, modern look in today's CFB fashion environment.

In terms of at home only: 2020 - weeks 1 and 4 2021- weeks 2 and 4 2022 - weeks 3 and 5 I guess what I was saying is week 7 seems kind of late for them to go all white at home compared to previous years, since week 5 had been the latest since the brand refresh. As a person who gets stuck with a lot of Bucs games on TV locally it seemed abnormal, but maybe not.

I know they often do WAH into November but I feel like it's usually paired with pewter pants. The white jersey/white pants combo seems to be reserved for typically one home game, usually early in the season, historically speaking (I'm not counting the alarm clock years since that look was such a clusterf***.)
