New York Islanders Striping on the sweaters comes from the club's logo. The color blocking on the away sweater draws inspiration from the New York City flag.

As the CFL season rolls around, I decided to create uniforms for all of the CFL teams for Adidas' Primeknit uniforms because I think they look better than the mesh uniforms currently being worn. The template I am using is a little outdated, but here is what Adidas's new A1 Primeknit uniforms, which will be worn by NCAA teams this fall, look like. Toronto Argonauts

Thanks! The lines on the Ducks jerseys echo the shape of the logo and would be a subtle change in material (similar to the jersey attached below) to add some shiny elements. The "meaning" of the stripes, in marketing mumbo jumbo, is to evoke the motion of water.
