  1. I think in certain situations it (shiny fabric) looks fine, but not when it's a jersey matched with non-shiny pants or vice versa. Also, i think only teams with that kind of sparkle material in their helmets (Ex: Patriots is the first on i can think of) should use it. I noticed this when the packers went to play @Washington a week ago. Here's their current road uniform: Notice how the pants are that non-shiny Nike material and when paired with the shiny jersey/numbers, unnecessary amount of mesh, and inconsistent sleeve cuts (not to mention the screen printed stripes), it makes the entire uniform look cheap and high school-y. The Packers aren't the only ones with these problems, but there in the forefront of my mind because I was thinking the same thing as most of you guys.
  2. Well, I didn't get any feedback on the last one but I'm still chugging along. Next up: the Bakersfield Jam: Bakersfield Jam: This is another court on the simple side (don't worry, there are some gaudy ones coming *cough* D-Fenders *cough*). I really like the color scheme here and wanted to bring that to the forefront, , so the design is kept simple with a light colored hardwood surface and a giant-sized mid-court logo. I experimented with Black lines but they kind of cluttered the look so I stuck to white. C&C appreciated.
  3. I'm doing a small series of NBA D-League court concepts and would appreciate some feedback. The basic rules of the concept are that I can only use the color pallete from the half-court logo for any of the paint, the lines have to be a separate color from any paint, no sponsors should be featured, and the baseline text should read the team's location (with one exception, you'll see why later). I'm going in alphabetical order of the team name so to start us off, here's the Austin Spurs. C&C appreciated. Austin Spurs: With the Spurs I wanted to create a simple look, which the color palette lends itself to, but also give sort of a rustic feel which I tried to accomplish with the faded wood and spurs superimposed onto the playing surface. Again, the baseline font is kept simple to complete the look.
  4. Thanks for all the feedback to this point! I am now done editing Anaheim (although C&C is still appreciated) and I'm moving on to the Arizona Coyotes. First though, here's Anaheim Final. I tried to change anything and everything that you guys thought needed fixing, and, especially on the logo, it helped out quite a bit to make it a more complete look. Anaheim Final: Arizona Coyotes C&C still greatly appreciated.
  5. How's this? I added more stripes because it looked too empty above the ball without the legs i thought.
  6. Yeah, I thought that initially, but I think they add character to it. I'll try getting rid of them though.
  7. It's pretty self-explanatory; over the next week or so, I will be making a home and a clash soccer kit using the color schemes and mascots of all 30 NHL teams. The colors I use are all indexed from the sportslogos.net NHL Logos page, and the majority of fonts are courtesy Conrad. In addition to the 2 kits, I will also be designing a quick mock-up of a logo for each team, again using only official team colors, white, and black. Please post any questions in the comments below. Here's the first one: Anaheim Ducks: Please feel free to leave any C&C you find necessary. List of Finalized Teams: Anaheim Ducks
  8. So this is my first time making a hockey uniform concept. I don't really watch hockey that much but I liked Toronto's color scheme and I thought I'd try my hand. C&C Appreciated.
  9. Good for you. Unfortunately, the majority of the people who do this are dummies like me who know very little about it.The truth is, this is gambling just like anything else. This is the same as gambling as NFL games, except it's just on individual players. I'm glad New York chose to classify it as gambling. Good riddance. Oh yeah, and I hate those ads too. lol OnWis97 was making fun of the ads in his post. He wasn't actually serious. "dummies"
  10. Looks like somewhere I'd call if I had problems troubleshooting my PC.
  11. I'd like the first one a lot more if the number had the same gold outline as the second.
  12. Yeah i never really understood why they chose to outline the football in that shape. It just doesn't look good at all.
  13. Well you know your audience, males and females ages 16-25. Look at some designs and rebrands of popular products aimed at young people in recent years. I can tell you that the current trend is bright, unusual colors contrasting with black and some sort of pattern superimposed on the background. Of course, what is currently popular with this age demographic is (i predict) very unpopular with the old lions of th CCSLC demographic, so looking for opinions from younger people might be a better option. The best most of us on here can probably give you is what they think young people will like. Well your a 16 year old so you fit into the demographic im trying to appeal to. What do you like about the box, what do you look for when you buy cookies in terms of the design and marketing, what appeals to you guys? I was thinking of using some sublimated images in the re-brand, and maybe switching over to a medium-dark green of sorts. Yeah I'd say no go with the dark green. And i actually prefer more traditional design so i don't think I'd be a very accurate assessment of my demographic lol.

  15. Dude this is really cool. We just played them in football a few weeks ago and their uniforms could definitely use something like this!
  16. I don't like the facetail, but otherwise the uni design is pretty clean, which is what i like to see out of a high school. If you clean up the horns it would be a pretty solid set.
  17. How about you make a concept first and we can provide C&C on it ya freakin hoisser.
  18. It looks like they're trying to be CN/Nickelodeon
  19. DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS DEVELOPERS! WHO SAID SIT DOWN?
  20. Does the patch have to be standalone or can it bee part of a closeup on a uniform?
  21. Are tOSU's helmet stickers supposed to have no white on them, or is it just implied? I think the straight up buckeye leaves look pretty cool, but I'd only wers them as a one-off. I like tradition. Also, I can't wait for you to do Nebraska!
  22. Yea wow, has anyone else noticed that? The original revolution helmet with the Revo speed facemask... I didn't even know it would be possible to combine the two.(Re: ASU Nike image) Yeah. I figured that out a couple weeks ago when my high school team we played some class C school and they were so broke that instead of buying a new facemask for their busted revo's thay just repurposed old speed facemasks from their cross town school. Some dude was even wearing a revo shell with a speed 360 mask and he just taped up the top attachment parts.
